1.Difference of T lymphocyte subpopulations between peripheral blood and limbusconjunctiva in Mooren's ulcer
Ophthalmology in China 1993;0(01):-
Using indirect immunofluorescent technique and immunohistochemical staining method,we detected 14 patients with progressive Mooren's ulcer for T lymphocyte suhpopulations(Pan-T,Th,Ts)and the ratio of Th/Ts in peripheral blood as well as in the limbus conjunctiva near the corneal ulcer. It was found that Pan-T,Th,Ts and Th/Ts ratio in con- junctiva were significantly higher than that in normal control, whereas these parameters in peripheral blood showed no differences from that in the control group. From the above data,we may conclude that the intensive immune activities due to the increased local Th/Ts ratio play an important role in the process of Mooren's ulcer.

Objective:To explore the correlation between homocysteine (Hcy) level and left ventricular diastolic func‐tion in patients with hypertension .Methods :A total of 121 enrolled patients with essential hypertension received plasma Hcy ,routine biochemical measurement and echocardiography examination .With Hcy=10 mmol/L as the di‐viding line ,patients were divided into H hypertension group (high Hcy group ,n=65) and hypertension with normal level group (normal Hcy group ,n=56) .Correlation between plasma Hcy level and left ventricular diastolic function was analyzed .Results:(1) H hypertension accounted for 53.7% ,male proportion in H hypertension group was sig‐nificantly higher than that of normal Hcy group (67.7% vs .37.5% , P<0.01);(2) Compared with normal Hcy group ,there were significant rise in left atrial diameter [LAD ,(34.4 ± 3.3) mm vs .(37.6 ± 5.4) mm] ,left ven‐tricular mass [LVM ,(183.5 ± 37.0) g vs .(205.6 ± 53.1) g] ,left ventricular mass index [LVMI ,(111.1 ± 19.2) g/m2 vs .(121.2 ± 31.8) g/m2 ] and transmitral early diastolic peak flow velocity/peak velocity of early diastolic mi‐tral annular motion [E/Em ,(8.4 ± 2.6) vs .(15.3 ± 7.4)] in H hypertension group ,P<0.05 or <0.01 ;(3) Pear‐son correlation analysis indicated that Hcy was positively correlated with LAD ,left ventricular end‐diastolic dimen‐sion (LVEDd) ,E/Em ,LVM and LVMI (r=0.247~0.620 , P<0.05 or <0.01);multi‐factor linear gradual re‐gression analysis found that plasma Hcy level ,was influencing factors for E/Em (P=0.529 ,t=7.599 ,P<0.05) . Conclusion:There is a significant positive correlation between plasma homocysteine level and left ventricular diastolic function insufficiency in patients with hypertension .More attention is required for detection of plasma homocysteine level in clinic .
5.Comparison of the effect of fenofibrate and atorrastubin in treating hyperlipoidemia and hyperuricemia
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(17):2311-2312
Objective To explore the effect of fenofibrate and atorvastatin on hyperlipoidemia and hyperuricemia. Methods 55 cases were randomly divided into 2 groups. 30 cases in the treatment group were give Fenofibrate (200rmg/d) and 25 cases in control group were given atorvastatin(10mg/d). And two groups given 8 days for all patients. The therapeutic effect, blood-fat and blood uric acid levd, and complication in two groups were compared. Results There were conspicuous effect of fenofibrate and atorvastatin on hyperlipoidemia and hyperuricemia. The index of TG, TC had significant differences between the two groups. The index of acidum uricum was higher in control group. The complication had no significant differences between two groups. Conclusion Both fenofibrate and atorvastain were effective drug for hyperuricemia and hyperlipoidemia, and could reduce TC,TG, HDLC and LDLC in the short time, and could decrease the risk factor of cerebrovascular disease.

Objective To study the clinical significance for the establishment of diagnosis of small bowel obstruction by selective small bowel enterography through a nasointestinal decompression tube. Methods Tirty-five patients with small bowel obstruction, with no strangulation or other contraindications, were intubated with a 300 cm nasointestinal decompression tube till upper jejunum under X-ray monitoring. The patients firstly underwent intra-small-intestinal suction therapy. When the tube reached the diseased region, a selective small bowel enterography was performed. Under X-ray inspection, 20-100 ml of 76% meglumine diatrizoatis and 50-200 ml of air were slowly injected via the decompression tube to perform double contrast intestinal radiography. Results Intubation was successful in all the 35 patients. Mter the small intestinal decompression therapy. Obstruction was cured in 20 cases, alleviated in 15 cases, and 10 cases received operation. Small bowel enterography in this series was all of high quality, there were 6 cases in which no abnormal X-ray findings, adhesive small bowel obstruction was suggested in 15 cases, small bowel tumor was identified in 4 cases (3 metastatic tumor, 1 small bowel cancer), small bowel Crohn's disease in 3 cases, radioactive enteritis in 3 cases, enteric intussusception in 2, polyp of the small intestine in one, and carcinoma of the ascending colon in one. Conclusions The nasointestinal decompression intubation with X-ray monitoring serves a dual function for the patients with intestinal obstruction, it decompresses the small bowel and does small intestinal radiography, in this way the locale of obstruction was found and the cause of the obstruction identified.

Objective To evaluate the role of autologous septal cartilage in the rhinoplasty of the wide and bulbous nasal tip. Methods A big piece of autologous nasal septal cartilage was removed and transplanted to the front of nasal septum, acting as a septal extender to fix the nasal alar cartilage, and then the shape of nasal tip was reconstructed by middle crus suture technique, excessive soft tissue under skin of tip and a part of lateral crura cartilage were removed to stand out the shape of the nasal tip. Results After one year follow-up, 118 of 126 cases achieved satisfied effects, but 8 cases dissatisfied because of their undue thick skin. Conclusions This method is reliable in the correction of the wide and bulbous nasal tip.
