1.Progress in minipuberty and early diagnosis of sexual abnormality diseases
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(6):634-636
The transient surge in the hypothalamic GnRH pulse generator-pituitary gonadotropin-gonadal apparatus, sometimes called the minipuberty of early infancy, is associated with special secretion pattern of many sex hormones. This period is thought to be an important stage for sex development, and provides clinicians early evidences to diagnose sexual abnormality diseases. This review summarizes the formation and characteristic of minipuberty, and the mechanism of its abnormal hormone secretion leading to sexual abnormality, and thus focus on the value of minipuberty for early diagnosis of sexual abnormality diseases.
2.Interventional ultrasound treatment for non-ruptured ectopic pregnancy: A report of 17 cases
Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2005;0(10):-
Objective To investigate the clinical value of interventional ultrasound treatment for non-ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Methods Seventeen cases of ectopic pregnancy with masses 20~50 mm(mean,35 mm) in diameter and embryo sacs 15~42 mm(mean,26 mm) in diameter were included.Under the guidance of ultrasonography, needle puncture and aspiration of lesions of ectopic pregnancy was conducted through the posterior fornix. Then the methotrexate(MTX) 20~40 mg was injected into. Results All the 17 cases were punctured and MTX-injected on one session. The embryo sac disappeared within 4 weeks after the treatment in 16 cases, while there was no improvement in 1 case and a further surgery was given.Of the 16 successfully treated cases, salpingography showed the oviduct as "patent" in 14 cases and as "unobstructed" in 2.Conclusions Interventional ultrasound treatment of non-ruptured ectopic pregnancy has advantages of simplicity of performance, good safety and efficiency, minimal invasion, and few adverse effects. This procedure is worthy of being recommended.
3.Research progress of azacitidine in the treatment of elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2016;25(5):312-314
Azacitidine belongs to a novel family of demethylation antitumor drug.Foreign clinical researches have demonstrated that it may be a low toxic and effective choice for elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia, whose physical conditions are too poor to sustain intensive chemotherapy. This review will summarize recent reports on azacitidine in the treatment of elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(05):-
Several genetic polymorphisms of the aldosterone synthase gene(CYP11B2),which may influence the plasma aldosterone levels, had been reported to influence the blood glucose levels. In addition to the effects of sodium()(and consequently water) resorption and potassium excretion(),aldosterone could be involved in the development and progression of diabetes and its chronic complications. This paper also discussed the therapeutic significance of aldosterone receptor antagonists on the occcurance of chronic diabetic complications.

Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1987;0(02):-
Plasmodium yoelii yoelii-Anopheles stephensi system was chosen as the experimental model in studying the effects of pyrimethamine on oocyst formation of the plasmodium species. The drug was given by allowing mosquitoes to feed on infected and pyrimethamine treated mice or by feeding them directly with pyrimcthamine-sugar water. The infective rate and the number of oocysts formed after drug administration were reduced, the oocysts formed being smaller and their daily growth rate slower than that of the controls. Electron microscopic and Feulgen staining studies showed that the cytoplasm of the affected oocysts contained many vacuoles, pigment aggregations and black aggre-gates (Fig. 4). No nucleus appeared in the affected oocysts, which were presumably deteriorated and became "black spores". The amount of DNA in drug-affected oocysts was scanty. No sporozoites were found in the salivary glands of these mosquitoes. It was suggested that pyrimethamine interfered with DNA synthesis of oocysts.

Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2016;25(6):321-325
There have been many changes of the lymphoma classifications from early times till the 2016 WHO classifications. The 2016 WHO lymphoma classification aims to provide updated diagnostic categories, more precise diagnostic criteria, and biological and clinic correlates, which can facilitate state-of-the-art patient care, future therapeutic advances and basic research in this field.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(04):-
Objective To explore the relationship between Mel-CAM and adherence and invasion of trophoblastic cells and proliferation of Mel-CAM defined intermediate trophoblast. Methods Double immunohistochemical staining technique was used to detect the expression of Ki-67 in Mel-CAM defined intermediate trophoblast in human villi during the first trimester and hydatidiform mole. Results In this study there was a significantly stronger expression of Mel-CAM in hydatidiform mole than that in first-trimester villi (P

Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2000;0(04):-
Objective To detect the levels of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in aqueous humor and vitreous of patients with neovascular glaucoma (NVG) and infer their possible effect on the development of neovascularization of iris. Methods The concentration of VEGF in 22 samples of ocular fluid of aqueous humor and vitreous respectively obtained from 11 patients with NVG undergone intraocular surgery were measured by using enzyme linked immunosobent assay (ELISA) for quantitative analysis. As control, 12 samples of ocular fluid of 6 patients with macular hole were detected by the same methods. Results The mean ?s VEGF concentrations in aqueous humor and vitreous from patients with NVG were [(1.451?0.247)?(1.610?0.125) ng/ml] higher than those in the cotrol group [(0.189?0.038)?(0.201?0.055) ng/ml], there was a significant difference between the two groups statistically ( t=12 007, P
