Objective To investigate whether sodium ferulate（SF）can prevent contrast-induced renal injury in chronic renal insufficiency patients and its possible mechanism.Methods Eighty-six patients with chronic renal insufficiency,whose serum creatinine（Scr）levels ranged from 132 μmol/L to 358 μmol/L were randomly divided into control group（saline 100 ml iv drip）and SF treatment group（treatment group,saline 100 ml ＋ 0.3 g SF iv drop）based on sufficient hydration.Patients were treated with the above-mentioned protocols at 3 h be-fore the administration of contrast medium and in the following 3 days,Scr,plasma malondialdehyde（MDA）and urine nitric oxide（NO）were measured before angiography and on the third day after angiography.Results The incidence rate of contrast-induced nephropathy（CIN）in control group was significantly higher than that in treatment group（P 〈 0.05）.The contrast medium increased Scr levels and plasma MDA,and decreased urine NO excretion,while SF treatment attenuated the above changes（P 〈 0.05）.Conclusion The preventive effect of SF on con-trast-induced renal injury might be associated with its suppressive effect on endothelin,increasing renal production of NO and anti-oxydation.

Objective To study the application value of digitization radiography in group wound. Methods Emergency patient were taken photos on all positions by the system of digitized X-ray phantom equipment DR or CR. Results Image quality was improved and the success ratio of taking photo reached 100%. Both lasting time of examination and the radiation dose reduced. Conclusion The application of digitized X-ray photography is superior to that of the system of traditional screen or piece,which provides more information of photography for clinical in time.

AIM:To investigate retinal vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)level and retinal cells apoptosis in the early stage of diabetic NOD mouse retina.METHODS:Animals were divided into the control group(non-diabetes mice)(2,4,6,8,12 weeks group,n=30)and diabetes group(2,4,6,8,12 weeks group,n=30).EUSA(Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay)was performed to detect VEGF level in both serum and retina.Transmission electron microscope method was used to examine retinal cell apoptosis.RESULTS:Compared with the control group,VEGF levels in serum and retina were increased significantly in the NOD group(12 weeks:4.9±0.4μg/g versus 0.19±0.1μg/g in serum sample,P ＜ 0.01;165.0±9.0μg/g versus 18.0±4.0μg/g in retinal sample,P＜0.01).There exists a positive correlation between serum VEGF and retinal VEGF levels in the early diabetic NOD mice(γ=0.9902,P=0.001).The number of the cells apoptosis in the ganglion significantly in the NOD group(P＜0.01).CONCLUSION:The high VEGF expression may be contributed to increase retinal cells apoptosis.Many factors associated with retinal VEGF expression might involve in the early diabetes stage.

Diabetes is a complex and heterogeneous disorder presently affecting more than 100 million people worldwide and causing serious socio-economic problems. Spontaneous rodent models of diabetes mellitus have proved invaluable in understanding the pathogenesis, complications, and genetic or environmental influences that increase the risks of diabetes. We have reviewed here in the development and characterization of spontaneous rodent models that displayed most features commonly associated with diabetic retinopathy.

Objective: To explore the effects of rhPRL on the cytotoxicity and proliferation of natural killer cell lines. Methods: Cytotoxici-ty and proliferation analysis were done by MTT,RT-PCR method,direct immunofluoresence technique and FAGS protocol was applied to detect the PRL-R and CD25 expression on NK cell lines. Results: MTT results indicated that PRL play a significant roles on the proliferation and cytotoxicity of IL-2 dependent cell lines NKL and NK-92 in the presence of trace amounts of IL-2. In contrast, PRL did not significantly alter the proliferation and cytolyric activity of YT. RT-PCR and FACS analysis showed three NK cell lines expressed PRL-R and CD25 differently, stimulation of rhPRL could upregulate CD25 and IL-2 expression. Conclusion: rhPRL could augument the proliferation and cytotoxicity of NK cell partly by upreglating of IL-2. Ra chain(CD25) and interaction with IL-2 signal transduction.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for medication consultation Wechat platform in the hospital. METHODS:The medication consultation Wechat platform of our hospital was introduced,including main method,content and effect. The consulting pharmacist team was set up,and Wechat public number was applied and operated experimentally;information pharmacist was re-sponsible for its daily maintenance. We released pharmacy news,accumulated consumers and expanded influence through other me-dia at regular intervals. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:According to the medical practice,two modules“medication consultation”and“pharmacy news”were set up. From Dec. 2014 to Jul. 30th 2015,medication consultation system had accumulated 1 121 con-sumers,with an increase of 5 to 8 ones everyday;average number of consultation records was 10 everyday;we also had published 22 batch of medication news(79 messages),including 31 original messages and 3 video messages. Several messages gained much attention from network media and offline media. As new pharmaceutical care mode,Wechat platform contribute to realize a individ-ual,convenient and mobile medication consultation service,medication health science popularization,and improves medication compliance of patients and the awareness of medication safety in field of pharmaceutical administration Wechat platform,so as to improve pharmaceutical care effect of“taking patients as the center”and promote the propaganda of hospital brand. Thus it has a good prospect of application and popularization.

Objective To explore the effects of early acupuncture on the expression of neurofilament protein (NFP) in the brain and the neurobehavior of the neonatal rats with brain injury. Methods The pregnant Wistar rats were randomly divided into two groups: lipopolysaccharide (LPS) group and control group, which were consecutively injected intraperitoneally with LPS or saline. The full-term newborn rats from LPS group were randomly divided into acupuncture group and model group. Acupuncture group was acupunctured from postnatal 8 d. They were evaluated with hanging test, and the expression of NFP was detected with immunohistochemical stain 21 d after birth. Results Both the scores of hanging test and the expression of NFP were the highest in the control group, the lowest in the model group and medium in the acupuncture group (P<0.01). Conclusion Acupuncture may increase the expression of NFP and improve locomotor function of the neonatal rats with brain injury caused by intrauterine infection.

The development of proteomic technique has sparked new focus on novel protein markers for many diseases including cancer. Urine is one of the most useful biofluids for routine testing to provide an ideal resource for the discovery of novel biomarkers, with the advantage over tissue biopsy samples due to the ease and the less invasive nature of urinary collection. This review summarizes urinary protein tumor markers found in prostate cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer and breast cancer that have shown potential for urogenital and non-urogenital cancer, so as to provide reference on high sensitive and high specific urinary protein tumor markers for early prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

Aldose reductase ( AR ) belonging to nicotinamide-adenine dinucleotide phosphate ( NADPH ) -dependent aldehyde-keto reductase superfamily, is the key rate-limiting enzyme in the polyol pathway which plays an important role in the body’s high-sugar metabolism. AR is widely present in the kidneys, blood vessels, lens, retina, heart, skeletal muscle and other tissues and organs, converts glucose to sorbitol which easy permeability of cell membranes, cause cell swelling, degeneration, necrosis, and have a close relationship with the development of chronic complications of diabetes mellitus. Diabetic retinopathy ( DR ) is a multifactorial disease, the exact cause is currently unknown, but polyol pathway has been demonstrated to play an important role in the pathogenesis of DR. Clinical risk factors such as blood sugar control, blood pressure and other treatments for DR only play a part effect of remission or invalid, if we can find out DR genes associated with the disease, this will contribute to a better understanding of the pathological mechanisms and contribute to the development of new treatments and drugs. The current research progress of AR, AR gene polymorphism, Aldose reductase inhibitors to DR was reviewed in this article.

Objective To investigate the effect of X-ray irradiation on neurites growth of primary hippocampal neurons in vitro.Methods Primary hippocampal neuron culture in vitro were irradiated with 0,2,4,8,10,12 Gy of X-rays.In the first day and the third day after irradiation,the cell death of primary hippocampal neurons was detected by MTT method,and the morphological changes of primary hippocampal neuronal neurites were detected with immunofluorescence staining method.Results In the first day and third day after irradiation,the cell death of hippocampal neurons increased significantly (F =123.068,43.370,P ＜0.05),but there were no significant difference among 4,8,10,and 12 Gy irradiation groups.Immunofluorescence staining showed that,in the first day after irradiation,the neurite length and total dendritic branch length (TDBL) were significantly changed (F =9.169,7.856,P ＜0.05),and in the third day after radiation,the neurite length,TDBL and total dendritic branch tip number (TDBTN) were also altered (F =23.797,6.565,6.021,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion X-ray irradiation can inhibit the growth of neurites in the primary hippocampal neurons in vitro.
