1.Analysis on renving and cunkou pulse diagnostic methods in Internal Classic and Pulse Classic.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(5):493-496
Renying and cunkou pulse diagnostic methods have been recorded in Neijing Unternal Classic) and Maijing (Pulse Classic) and these two pulse diagnostic methods are very different. Through the analysis and inference on the relevant statements in Internal Classic and Pulse Classic, as well as those of medical scholars in later generations, it is discovered that the pulse of excess type, the pulse of deficiency type, the tense pulse, the regular missed-beat pulse, etc. could be detected and be used to judge the disorders of meridians and zangfu organs by the comparison between the pulse of excess type and the pulse of deficiency type with renying and cunkou pulse diagnostic methods recorded in Internal Classic. The substance of renying and cunkou pulse diagnostic methods in Pulse Classic is consistent with the methods in later generations, meaning that they can be applied to judge the disorders of meridians and zangfu organs through detecting the excess or the deficiency in every region of cun, guan and chi.

2.Clinical observation on the efficacy of the treatment with combination of all-trans retinoic acid and arsenic trioxide in 50 cases of newly diagnosed acute promyelocytic leukemia
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2011;20(5):282-285
Objective To study the efficacy of arsenic trioxide (ATO) combined all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) in primary acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) patients. Methods 98 patients with newly diagnosed APL were randomly divided into control (48 cases) and treatment group (50 cases). Control group received conventional ATRA+DA dual induction regimen and the treatment group received ATRA 25 mg·m-2·d-1, and ATO 0.15 mg·kg-1·d-1 beginning from 10 days later after administration of ATRA. After complete remission (CR), ATO and ATRA treatment were received. CR rate for consolidation, time of reaching clinical and molecular remission and 5-year disease-free survival were observed. Results CR rates were 89.6 % (43/48) and 90.0 % (45/50) in control group and treatment group, respectively, and the time of obtaining CR was (30.0±5.1) and (28.1 ±4.4) days, respectively. CR rates (x2 =-0.068, P =0.946) and time of reaching CR (t =1.757, P =0.083) in two groups showed no significant difference. In patients obtaining CR, 3 patients relapsed in 276, 385 and 394 days after CR, respectively. PML-RARα fusion gene was positive at diagnosis in all patients. The rate of negative of fusion gene at CR in control and treatment group was 25.0 % (5/20) and 29.4 % (5/17), respectively. The rate of negative of fusion gene after consolidation in control and treatment group was 92.5 % (37/40) and 97.6 % (41/42), respectively. 5-year disease-free survival rates of the control and treatment group was (85.3±5.9) % and (87.6±5.6) %, respectively. The difference was not statistically significant (x2 =0.232, P =0.630). Conclusion The regimen of ATO combined ATRA is effective in treating newly diagnosed APL patients, and can be used as an alternative regimen.
3.131I treatment of differentiated thyroid carcinoma in children and adolescents
Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging 2014;34(1):76-78
The occurrence rate of DTC in children and adolescents is not high. However,DTC in these patients has some distinct characteristics different from those in adult, such as larger tumor volume at diagnosis, early invasion of neck lymph nodes and early distant metastases, high NIS expression, high recurrence but higher overall survival rate.131 I ablation is still one of the important treatment methods after surgery.Currently, there are 3 major dosage regimens adopted for 131I treatment: prescribed dose without causing bone marrow suppression/toxicity,dose aiming at tumor ablation, and empirically fixed dose.

Etrotic Company produced thermoplastic diaphragm (ERKOLODC-pro, 595115) can be shaped according to dental arch form under vacuum heating pressure, resulting in good fixation and baffle effect. Nine cases with soft and hard palate defect caused by tumor, who needed the repair of temporal obturator prosthesis made by thermoplastic diaphragm (1.5 mm of thickness), were selected in this study at the Department of Stomatology, General Hospital of Chinese PLA from September 2006 to January 2007. Different diaphragms were used according to periodontal status. Only one case with more soft palate defect felt naupathia when wore this kind of denture near throat. After 1 week, the uncomfortable feeling disappeared. Three patients felt pain, and the main reason is tissue dropsy around wound entry and denture crackdown. After grinding, pain disappeared. This indicated that no adverse reaction in biocompatibility was detected between thermoplastic diaphragm and host. Temporal prosthesis can improve swallowing and voiced function of soft and hard palate defect patients by closing nasal cavity.

Objective To evaluate the effect of gabapentin on Cav3.2 channels in the dorsal root ganglia ( DRG) of rats with neuropathic pain. Methods Thirty male Sprague?Dawley rats, aged 6-7 weeks, weighing 225-275 g, were divided into 3 groups ( n=10 each) using a random number table:sham operation group ( S group) , neuropathic pain group ( NP group) and gabapentin group ( G group) . In NP and G groups, neuropathic pain was induced by chronic constriction injury to the left sciatic nerve. Starting from 7th day after operation, gabapentin 100 mg∕kg in 1 ml of normal saline was injected intraper?itoneally twice a day for 7 consecutive days in group G, and the equal volume of normal saline was given twice a day for 7 consecutive days in S and NP groups. The mechanical paw withdrawal threshold ( MWT) and thermal paw withdrawal latency ( TWL) were measured on day 3 before operation and on postoperative days 3, 7 and 14. After the last measurement of pain thresholds on the postoperative day 14, 4 rats were sacrificed for determination of Cav3. 2 mRNA expression ( by real?time polymerase chain reaction) and Cav3.2 protein expression (by Western blot) in the DRG. Results Compared with S group, the MWT was significantly decreased, and TWL was significantly shortened on postoperative days 3, 7 and 14, and the expression of Cav3.2 protein and mRNA in the DRG was significantly up?regulated in group NP, and the MWT was significantly decreased, and TWL was significantly shortened on postoperative days 3 and 7 ( P<0.05), and no significant change was found in the expression of Cav3.2 protein and mRNA in the DRG in group G ( P>0.05) . Compared with NP group, the MWT was significantly increased, and TWL was signif?icantly prolonged on the postoperative day 14, and the expression of Cav3.2 protein and mRNA in the DRG was significantly down?regulated in group G ( P<0.05) . Conclusion The mechanism by which gabapentin attenuates neuropathic pain may be related to inhibition of the function of Cav3.2 channels in the DRG of rats.

Object To develop an improved RP-HPLC method for determining ferulic acid in the human serum. Methods The determination was carried on RP-HPLC, using Kromasil-C 18column, methanol-water-acetic acid (36.4∶63∶0.6) as mobile phase with a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and at the detection wavelength of 322 nm, and p-hydroxybenzaldehyde was used as internal standard. The serum sample was deproteinized with acetonitrile to extract ferulic acid. Results The calibration curve showed good linearity over the range of 9.94-159.04 ng/mL (r=0.992 5). RSD was less than 10% within day and day-to-day, the average recovery was 99.77% and the minimal concentration in serum was 5 ng/mL. Conclusion This method, which is simple, rapid, sensitive, reproducible and low toxic, is appropriate for the quantitative determination of ferulic acid in the human serum.

Abstract: Objective In order to understand the radon exposure level of homes in Chongqing, this survey was carried out on the indoor radon concentration in 38 districts and counties of Chongqing. Methods According to the population ratio of every 100 000 people, one monitoring site was arranged, and the number of parallel samples was 10% of the distribution sites. The monitoring sites covered 38 districts and counties in Chongqing. A total of 1 019 residential monitoring sites in 38 districts and counties in Chongqing were measured with radon accumulation detectors from July 2020 to June 2021. Results The five districts/counties in Chongqing having the highest average concentration of residential radon in the year were Xiushan County 78.8 Bq/m3, Qianjiang District 78.0 Bq/m3, Yubei District 73.9 Bq/m3, Youyang County 71.4 Bq/m3 and Shapingba District 69.8 Bq/m3. The five districts/counties with the lowest mean concentration of indoor radon were 37.6 Bq/m3 in Zhongxian County, 36.4 Bq/m3 in Changshou District, 33.7 Bq/m3 in Kaizhou District, 33.2 Bq/m3 in Liangping District and 27.3 Bq/m3 in Wushan County. The concentration levels of radon in four seasons were 46.0 Bq/m3, 53.4 Bq/m3, 45.1 Bq/m3 and 59.5 Bq/m3, respectively. The concentration of radon was higher in Summer and Winter, and lower in Spring and Autumn, and the difference of concentration among four seasons was statistically significant (P<0.001). The radon concentration of newly built buildings after 2017 was relatively high, up to 61.8 Bq /m3, but there was no statistical significance in radon concentration in different building ages (P>0.05). The concentration of radon in rooms of buildings with less than 10 floors was higher, up to 63.2 Bq /m3, and there were significant differences in radon concentration among rooms of different floors (P<0.05). The average annual radon concentration in houses in Chongqing was about (51.6±19.5) Bq/m3, and the average annual effective dose of inhaling radon and its progeny by house-related people was about (1.38±0.52) mSv. Conclusion The average annual radon concentration level of houses in Chongqing is within the standard limit value recommended by China, but the prevention and control of radon should be strengthened.

The aim of this study is to analyze the concordance between EDV, ESV and LVEF values derived from 18F-FDG PET, GSPECT and ECHO in patients with myocardial infarction. Sixty-four patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) and myocardial infarction were enrolled in the study. Each patient underwent at least two of the above mentioned studies within 2 weeks. LVEF, EDV and ESV values were analyzed with dedicated software. Statistical evaluation of correlation and agreement was carried out EDV was overestimated by 18F-FDG PET compared with GSPECT [(137.98 ± 61.71) mL and (125.35 ± 59.34) mL]; ESV was overestimated by 18F-FDG PET (85.89 ± 55.21) mL and GSPECT (82.39 ± 55.56) mL compared with ECHO (68.22 ± 41.37) mL; EF was overestimated by 18F-FDG PET (41.96% ± 15.08%) and ECHO (52.18% ± 13.87%) compared with GSPECT (39.75% ± 15.64%), and EF was also overestimated by 18F-FDG PET compared with GSPECT. The results of linear regression analysis showed good correlation between EDV, ESV and LVEF values derived from 18F-FDG PET, GSPECT and ECHO (r = 0.643-0.873, P = 0.000). Bland-Altman analysis indicated that 18F-FDG PET correlated well with ECHO in the Left ventricular function parameters. While GSPECT correlated well with 18F-FDG PET in ESV, GSPECT had good correlation with Echo in respect of EDV and EF; whereas GSPECT had poor correlation with PET/ECHO in the remaining left ventricular function parameters. Therefore, the clinical physicians should decide whether they would use the method according to the patients' situation and diagnostic requirements.

[Objective]To investigate the relationship of baseline antimullerian hormone(AMH)and live birth rate of IVF/ICSI and further explore the prognostic effect of AMH on live birth rate.[Methods]All non-polycystic ovary patients who underwent their first embryo transfers in our unit and had basal serum AMH evaluated between 2010 and 2015 were evaluated in this retrospective study. Patients were grouped according to their AMH level,i.e. low AMH group with AMH less than 1.1 ng/mL(n = 485),middle AMH group with AMH between 1.1 ng/mL and 7.0 ng/mL (n = 1 989),and high AMH group with AMH higher than 7.0 ng/mL (n=468). For age subgroup analysis, patients were stratified as follow:group A(age≤29 years),group B(30~34 years),group C(35~39 years)and group D(over 40 years). We compared clinical outcomes between AMH groups in different age groups usingunivariate and multivariate analysis. ROC analysis was utilized to assess predictive value of AMH on live birth rate.[Results](1)In both fresh and frozen embryo transfers, baseline AMH was significantly related to clinical outcomes. The lower AMH was,the lower implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, and live birth rate. However, higher miscarriage rate was observed. All difference reached statistically significant.(2)In age subgroup analysis,we demonstrated AMH was related to live birth rate in patients in group A,B, and C,regardless of fresh or frozen embryo transferred. In those over 40 years,AMH was related to live birth rate in frozen cycles (P < 0.05)but not fresh cycles(P = 0.092). The further multivariate analysis confirmed the above results after controlling po?tential confounding variables.(3)The AUC of ROC analysis for AMH predicting live birth rate were 0.647,0.633 for fresh and fro?zen cycles respectively.[Conclusion]Baseline AMH as one of excellent ovarian reserve markers ,was significantly related to live birth rate in fresh or frozen cycles. Baseline AMH was an independent prognostic factor of live birth rate, but its predictive value on live birth rate was of limited clinical value.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2014;(7):736-740
Department of rheumatology and immunology is a compulsory training department for the standardization training of the residents. However, it has been noted that the residents often ignore the importance of rheumatology. They are usually short of communication skill with the patients and theoretical knowledge. They often have high error rate in the clinical work and training their clini-cal skills and thinking ability is very difficult in the actual work. All of these problems may decrease the training quality and make the training a mere formality. Therefore, in order to carefully implement resident standardization training, a set of specific training programs has been developed, involving in theory of knowledge, practice standardization and comprehensive quality training. With these training programs, the quality and efficiency of the residents' training has greatly improved.
