Objective To analyze the urodynamic abnormalities of incontinent stroke patients,and evaluate the effects of acupuncture,moxibustion in combination with physical therapy.Methods One hundred and six in- continent stroke patients were divided into a control group and a treatment group.The control group was treated with conventional methods,and the treatment group with acupuncture,moxibustion and physical therapy modalities such as ultrasound and EMG biofeedback.The Urodynamic examination was performed before and after treatment.Re- sults It was found that the uradynamic abnormalities in the incontinent stroke patients include detrusor hyperreflexia and uninhibited sphincter relaxation.Combined use of acupuncture,moxibustion and physical therapy can significant- ly improve the patients' symptoms.Conclusion Common urodynamic abnormalities.are detrusor hyperreflexia and uninhibited external sphincter relaxation in incontinent stroke patients.Combined use of acupuncture,moxibustion and physical therapy is effective for treating this condition.

Objective To analyze TORCH infection situation in 6 027 cases of pregnant women,puerperae and neonates.Methods The TORCH IgM and IgG was detected by using ELISA for 6 027 cases of pregnant women,puerperae and neonates,and the positive rates of the antibodies to variant TORCH pathogens were analyzed.Results The positive rates of HSVⅠ-IgM,HSVⅡ-IgM,RV-IgM,TOXO-IgM and CMV-IgM were 0.02%,0.02%,0.12%,0.12% and 0.20% respectively.The positive rates of HSVⅠ-IgG,HSVⅡ-IgM,RV-IgM,TOXO-IgM,and CMV-IgM were 63.32%,13.31%,52.83%,12.68% and 58.57% respective-ly.Positive rate of CMV-IgM in neonates was higher than that in pregnant women,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).There were totally 28 cases of neonataes detected with acute CMV infection.Conclusion TORCH screening in pregnant women,puerperae and neonates helps the detection of infection disease in perinatal period.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the short monosyllabic list of Mandarin speech test materials (MSTMs) which have been evaluated the equivalence of difficulty, and to establish the performance-intensity function (P-I function) for people with normal hearing as clinical reference of hearing recovery and individuals ability to perceive and process speech. METHOD: Thirty-seven subjects (the age ranged from 18 to 26 years old) who speak Mandarin well in their daily lives with normal hearing participated in this study. Eight lists of the Short Mandarin Monosyllabic materials (20 words per list) with equal difficulty were utilized. The results were analyzed by Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 17.0. RESULT: P-I function for short monosyllabic word list was x = 98.557/(1 + 12.243 exp (-0.17(P-15, x(max) = 98.557. And the sound pressure level of speech corresponding to a 50% recognition score was 29.6 dB SPL or 9.6 dB HL. The results showed P-I function of 3.1 per dB for Mandarin materials. CONCLUSION The study established the P-I function of the Mandarin short monosyllabic word list materials with equal difficulty, which provides the normative data for identifying the normal hearing in a clinical setting.

OBJECTIVE: To discuss the scoring formula and evaluate the lists equivalence of Mandarin Quick Speech-in-Noise (M-Quick SIN) test materials in mainland China, and for standardizing our research. METHOD: Double 39 subjects with normal hearing were participated in part one and part two of our experiments, respectively. 20, 18, 15, 13, 10, 8, 5, 3, 0, -2, -5, -7, -10 dB SNR were presented in part one; and 20, 15, 10, 5, 0, -5 dB SNR were presented in part two. The results were analyzed by SPSS 13.0. RESULT: SNR-50 was -2.24 dB SNR and "SNR loss = 24.5--correct words" was defined as the scoring formula. All the 13 lists had the e quivalent difficulty. CONCLUSION Defined "SNR loss = 24.5--correct words" as the scoring formula of M-Quick SIN, and the 13 lists had better difficulty equivalence, which could be used in our further clinical research.

Objective To evaluate the application of high-resolution ultrasonography in the diagnosis of nerve root lesion of cervical vertebra intervertebral foramen part. Methods Twenty-seven patients with root avulsion injury of brachial plexus intervertebral part and 8 patients with schwannoma of brachial plexus root were examined with high-resolution ultrasonography. Thirty healthy volunteers were involved for the sonographic imagings of normal brachial plexus intervertebral part. The ultrasound findings of the patients before operation were compared with surgical outcomes. Results The normal intervertebral part of brachial plexus were shown as hypoechoic tubular strucuture, which could be identified with cervical artery and transverse process used as landmarks for the intervertebral part of brachial plexus root. The detection ratios of normal intervertebral part for C5-C8 and outside part of braehial plexus were 100％. In 27 patients with root avulsion injury of intervertebral brachial plexus, the intervertebral nerve root were enlarged as hypoechoic area, with nerve dissected partly or disappearing, distal nerve parts outside the intervertebral foramen swelling, edema,or cerebrospinal fluid assembling as cystic masses. In 8 patients with schwannoma of brachial plexus root part, the spinal ganglia outside intervertebral foramen were shown as tumor-like hypoechoic mass, with blood supply shown inside. Conclusions High-resolution ultrasonography is of great value for early and convenient diagnosis of root avulsion injury and mass of brachial plexus intervertebral part, especially in community hospitals,which could provide important information for clinical therapy.

AIM:To compare the efficiency of fibrin glue to suture technique in pterygium surgery performed with limbal autograft under different methods of anesthesia.
METHODS: A prospective randomised clinical trial was carried out in 60 eyes of 55 patients operated for primary nasal pterygium, which were divided into two groups randomly: experimental group ( 30 eyes in 27 patients ) was under surface anesthesia ( oxybuprocaine ) and control group ( 30 eyes in 28 patients ) was under local anesthesia ( 20g/L lidocaine ). Autologous limbal graft taken from the superotemporal limbus was used to cover the sclera by a fibrin tissue adhesive after pterygium excision. Patients were followed up at least for 6mo. Time of operation, matching degree of graft and VAS score were mainly observed and recorded.
RESULTS: In experimental group the average surgery time was shorter (P=0. 008) and matching degree of graft ( 93%) was better than control group ( 83%) , the differences had statistical significance(P<0.05).
CONCLUSION: The surface anesthesia is enough when using fibrin glue for graft fixation in pterygium surgery, which will shorten surgery time and get better matching degree of graft.

Objective To Study the effects of high mechanical index ultrasound radiation microbubble on colon cancer cell skeletal.Methods Lovo cell were cultured in vitro,and this study was divided into control group,simple contrast agent group,microbubble plus ultrasound radiation group and simple ultrasound radiation group.Ultrasound contrast agent SonoVue and ultransound (frequency 1.5 MHz and MI 1.7) were used.Results In the control group,the microtubes were densest in dyeing silk,and extended to the edge of a cell.In the ultrasound and microbubble group,the microtubes were weaker and thin,the.network was mainly in the structure of the long axis.The cells arranged in a slight pigmentation to the density cell,to reach out many fine short hair,there were obviously a sense of silk and directional.In the microbubble and ultrasound group,Lovo cells streamed of the central significantly reduced,fluorescent lighting,with short hair.There was no difference in the ultrasound group and the microbubble group with microfilament and microtubule.Conclusions High mechanical index ultrasound radiation can changed into vacant,a trace of the assembly and distributed to the tumor cells are attacking,the transfer of restraining.
