Objcetive: To investigate the effect of resveratrol (RES)combined with cisplatin (DDP)on the cholangiocarcinoma cell line FRH-0201 in vitro. Methods: FRH-0201 cells were exposed to different concentrations of RES or (and)DDP. Cell morphological changes were observed by light and fluorescence microscopy. Inhibition of cell proliferation was measured by MTT and colony-forming assay. And the flow cytometry were performed to detect the cell apoptosis rate and cell cycle. Results: Resveratrol inhibited the proliferation of FRH-0201 cells in a time-and dose-dependent manner in the concentration of 5～320 ?mol/L and the IC50 values after the exposure of 24, 48, and 72 h were 55.35, 32.84, and 28.01 ?mol/L respectively. RES and DDP had synergetic effect in the inhibition of FRH-0201 cells. Conclusion: RES can inhibit the growth of FRH-0201 cells and has the synergetic effect with DDP.

This method is consisted of Danzhong (CV 17), Zhongwan (CV 12) and Qihai (CV 6) in the Conception Vessel, which could successively nourish clear qi, stomach qi and original qi. In clinic, according to the severity of symptoms of three qi, the acupoints are selected flexibly, which could respectively treat deficiency of heart-lung qi, deficiency of stomach-spleen qi and deficiency of original qi. Some examples are also given in the article.

Objective To identify the effect of peptide nucleic acid of CC chemokine receptor 5 on acute rejection of islet allograft.Methods Mice islet transplant models were used to test the effect of PNA CCR5 by targeting CCR5 in acute allograft rejection.In vitro T cell proliferative responses were assessed by mixed lymphocyte response(MLR).RT-PCR and Western blot were used to detect the expression of mRNA and protein.Results PNA CCR5-treated recipients demonstrated statistically significant prolongation(12.00?1.75)d in functional allograft survival when compared with saline(6.50?0.58)d or PNA mismatch-treated recipients(6.50?0.50)d.The CCR5 mRNA expression level of PNA CCR5,control,and PNA mismatch treatment recipients at day 7 posttransplant was 0.56?0.05,1.68?0.07 and 1.80?0.14,respectively.The data showed that CCR5 protein was significantly down-regulated in PNA CCR5 treatment allografts compared with saline and PNA mismatch treatment allografts(P

Objective:To study the antimalarial mechanism of benflumetol (B). Methods: Flow cytometry (FCM) was used to analyze the effects of B and chloroquine (CQ) on DNA content of Plasmodium berghei and pH value of the lysosome of malarial parasites. Results: DNA content of the plasmodia not treated with any drugs was not changed in 24 hours,while benflumetol could decrease the DNA content: the DNA content began to decrease 2 h after the drug administration and reached the minimum by 16 h, but somewhat increased at 24 h after administration. The pH in the lysosome increased 1 h and restored premedication level 4 h after benflumetol administration. Chloroquine had the same effects on DNA and lysosome pH of malarial parasites.Conclusions: The antimalarial mechanism of benflumetol is directly related to its effect to inhibit the synthesis of DNA.

To the cataract patient after corneal refractive surgery, if the intraocular lens power was determined by conventional formulas, different refractive errors may be produced after intraocular lens implantation.This inaccuracy of the lens power mainly came from 2 aspects-errors of corneal refractive power measurement and errors of formulas.Besides, imprecise of ocular axial length measurement and invalid lens position calculation also contributed to the inaccuracy of lens power.Therefore, in order to reduce refractive errors of cataractous surgery in patient underwent refractive surgery, appropriate method should be used to estimate the refractive power of corneal, and proper formula should be selected to calculate intraocular lens power.

To analyze dryeye disease after the femtosecond laser and mechanical microkeratome for laser in situ keratomileusis ( LASlK ) by Oculus dry eye analyzer examination.METHODS: The people who had femtosecond LASlK ( FS-LASlK ) and mechanical microkeratome LASlK in Weifang Eye Hospital from January 2014 to April 2014 were observed. Sixty patients ( 120 eyes ) who had corneal refractive surgery were collected. The average age of patients was 27. 46 ± 6. 65 years old. The LASlK group had 28 patients ( 56 eyes ) and the FS-LASlK group had 32 patients ( 64 eyes ) . The tears river altitude, first tear break up time ( BUT) , and average BUT at preoperative, 1wk and 1mo after operation were observed by Oculus dry eye analyzer.RESULTS:By Oculus dry eye analyzer examination, the preoperative tears river altitude of patients was 0. 25 ± 0. 10mm. First BUT was 6. 70 ± 3. 86s. Average BUT time was 10. 14 ± 4. 51s. At 1wk after operation, the tears river altitude of patients was 0. 19±0. 04mm. The first BUT time was 4.87±1.71s. The average BUT time was 7.77±2.30s. There was significant difference between preoperative and 1wk after operation (P<0. 05). At 1mo after operation in two groups, the tears river altitude of patients was 0. 19 ± 0. 18mm . The average BUT 8. 72 ± 2. 54s. The BUT was 5. 02 ± 2. 30s. There was significant difference between preoperative and 1mo after operation (P<0. 05). The two groups had significant difference in average tears river altitude and average BUT between 1mo and 1wk after operation. There was no significant difference in the first BUT between 1mo and 1wk after operation. There was no significant difference between LASlK and FS - LASlK groups at any time of the test (P<0. 05).CONCLUSlON: LASlK and FS - LASlK patients have different degree of dry eye symptom after operation. Dry eye symptoms mainly display in the decrease of tear production and the stability of tear film. lt will be better after giving artificial tears. Oculus dry eye analyzer is a non-invasive examination equipment. lt can reflect the amount of tears and the stability of tear film. lt is usefull in rapid diagnosis of dry eye and judgment of the degree of dry eye symptom after LASlK operation.

Using the chromosomal DNA of an ice nucleation active bacterium Erwinia ananas 110 as template, an ice nucleation active (ina) gene was amplified by PCR with Taq plusI DNA polymerase. After sequencing and compared with reported ina genes, the cloned gene was identified as a new ina gene and was registered in GenBank at the accession number of AF387802. The new ina gene, named as iceA, has 3921 bp for its coding region, which encodes 1306 amino acids consisting of repetitive segment (R-domain, 1104aa), which is flanked by N-and C-terminal sequences, with 161 aa and 41aa, respectively.
