3.Segmentation of 3D MRI Image of Children Brain
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(01):-
Objective To study a semi-automatic segmentation framework for children's brain MRI image ( weighted), which is capable of identifying the different structures of children's MRI images by using the histogram analysis and morphological operations. Methods The framework consisted of four-step segmentation procedures. First, the non-brain structures removal was addressed to obtain the mask of encephalon, then the brain stem and cerebellum were separated respectively from the encephalon mask, and finally, two hemispheres were separated. Results The method behaved well in the segmentation of MRI images of the brain stem, cerebel and two brain hemispheres. Conclusion The method gave the good segmentation results in the children MRI image aging from 5 to 15 years old.

Objective:To establish a method for the determination of solvent residues in faeces bombycis extract by GC .Meth-ods: A GC-headspace injection method was adopted to detect the residual organic solvents in the extract of faeces bombycis .A DB-5MS (30 m ×0.25 mm ×0.25 μm) quartz capillary column was used as the chromatographic column;nitrogen was used as the carrier gas at a flow rate of 0.6 ml· min-1;the injector temperature was 200℃;the detector was a flame ionization detector( FID) with the temperature of 250℃;the temperature program included two phases:the initial temperature was set at 40℃for 10 min, and then risen to 200℃at a rate of 5℃· min-1 and maintained for 5 min;the equilibrium temperature of headspace was 95℃;the equilibrium time was 30 min;the capillary temperature was 110℃;the injection ring temperature was 125℃.Results:The linear range of acetone , 2, 3-dimethylpentane, 3-methylhexane, heptane, 2,2-dimethylhexane, p-xylene, m-xylene, O-xylene and 2,4,6-collidine was 101-3 034μg· ml-1 , 100-2 995 μg· ml-1 , 107-3 197 μg· ml-1 , 101-3 019 μg· ml-1 , 99-2 962 μg· ml-1 , 45-1 358 μg· ml-1 , 44-1 325μg· ml-1, 47-1 411 μg· ml-1 and 104-3 130 μg· ml-1, respectively, and the average r was all above 0.992.The recovery of the method met the requirement , and the blank solvent showed no interference .Eight samples were all accordance with the requirements after the examination .Conclusion:The headspace injection method for the determination of residual organic solvents in the extract of faeces bombycis is simple and reliable .
6.Progress of stem cell technology in the study of endocrine and metabolic diseases
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(3):250-253
Stem cells with the capacity of self-renewal and multilineage differentiation are promising sources for generation of pancreatic cells for cell replacement therapy in diabetes mellitus.Stem cells also show their potential in the studies regarding the embryonic development of several endocrine organs including pancreatic islets, thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. Moreover, they would be much useful for investigation of pathogenesis and drug screening in endocrine and metabolic diseases.
7.Observation of Pharmacodynamics in Patients with Continuous Infusion of Domestic Atracurium under Total Intravenous Anesthesia
China Pharmacy 2001;0(12):-
OBJECTIVE:To discuss the feasibility and average infusion velocity of domestic atracurium by continuous in-fusion and to determine and validate its clinical valence.METHODS:80patients undergoing selective operation were treated with domestic atracurium0.5mg/kg to facilitate intubation under the flaccidity monitoring(TOF),the continuous infusion velocity was regulated during operation to keep the level of T 1 at1%~10%of the control value, the infusion was stopped20min before the termination of operation.RESULTS:The average infusion rate was(5.1?0.4)(?g?kg)/min,the drug effect starting time and duration of action of initial dose were(203?47)s and(41.5?4.5)min respectively;Significant correlations were found between the initial time of T 1 and PTC during the TOF reaction-free period and between TR value and DBS value at extubation time(P
8. Three dimensional conformal radiotherapy for locally advanced rectal cancer and recurrent rectal cancer
Tumor 2008;28(2):139-141
Objective: To study the clinical outcome of three dimensional conformal radiotherapy(3D-CRT) on locally advanced rectal cancer and recurrent rectal cancer. Methods: Sixty patients with locally advanced or recurrent rectal cancer were irradiated by external radiothe-rapy at a total dosage of 40 Gy. The 60 patients were divided randomly into two groups: one group received late-course 3D-CRT (3D-CRT group, n = 30) and the other group received conventional radiotherapy (control group, n = 30). Results: The overall response rates were 86.7% for the 3D-CRT group and 70% for the control group, respectively. There was no statistical difference between the two groups (P > 0.05). The overall 1-, 2-, and 3-year survival rates were 80%, 53.3%, and 36.7% for the 3D-CRT group and 56.7%, 40%, and 13.3% the for control group, respectively. The difference was significant (P = 0.0213). The 1-, 2-, and 3-year local control rates were 86.7%, 80%, and 50% for 3D-CRT group and 73.3%, 53.3%, and 30% for the control group, respectively. There was significant difference (P = 0.0438). There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reaction between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Conventional external radiotherapy plus 3D-CRT has better efficacy on locally advanced or recurrent rectal cancer in clinic.
9. Clinical analysis of 16 patients with primitive neuroectodermal tumors
Tumor 2007;27(10):835-837
Objective: To analyze the pathological features, diagnosis, and treatment of primitive neuroectodermal tumors (PNET). Methods: The clinical data from 16 PNET patients were summarized and analyzed. There were 4 cases with the tumor located in brain, 4 cases in mediastina, 2 cases in orbit, 2 cases in thoracic cord, 2 cases in pelvic limb, 1 case in neck, 1 case in belly cavity. Six patients received surgical resection alone (S) and ten patients received chemotherapy plus radiotherapy after surgery (S + R + C). Results: There were 14 patients died. The median survival time was 22 months. The median survival time was 13 months for S group and 28 months for S + R + C group, respectively. The difference was significant (P =0.0194). Conclusion: PNET is one kind of highly malignant neuroepithelioma with great aggressive ability. Surgery combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy was the best choice.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Objective To optimize the extraction conditions for Yuemu eye drops. Methods The extraction conditions were studied with orthogonal test L_9(3~4),the content of caffeic acid was determined by HPLC as index. Results Alcohol concentration and frequency of extraction were remarkable factors in the test. Conclusion The optimum extraction technology for Yuemu eye drops was to reflux and extract the materials for 2 times in 80% alcohol, the volume of which was 6 times the weight of herbal medicine, with 1 hour for each time.
