Objective To evaluate the curative effect of the atorvastatin calcium tablet(trade name:lipitor) in curing essential hypercholesterolemia.Methods 76 patients with essential hypercholesterolemia were divided into two groups randomly:43 patients in the research group(lipitor tablet 10mg,qn);33 patients in the comparison group (simvastatin tablet 20mg,qn).The period of treatment for both two groups was 6 weeks.The changes of blood fat were detected before and after taking the medicine.The curative effect were compared at the same time.Resnlts The total cholesterol(TC)of the research groups decreased by 37.06%,the TC of the comparison group decreased by 22.05%.The triacylglyceride(TG)of the research group decreased by 24.81%,however,the TG of the compar- ison group decreased by just 14.49%.The low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)of the research group de- creased by 42.30% while the comparison group just decreased by 28.30%(P＜0,01).Also,the high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)of the research group increased by 7.80%,and the comparison group increased by 7.13%(P＞0.05),The effective rate of the research group was 95.35%.For the comparison group,the effective rate was 90.91%.Conclusion The lipitor has a good curative effect in curing essential hypereholesterolemia.Also, the lipitor has fewer side effect,This medicine is safe and reliable for patients.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the frequency of antinucleosome antibody(AnuA) in juvenile systemic lupus erythematosus(JSLE),comparing it to that observed for anti-dsDNA,anti-Sm antibodies,and explore the correlation of these antibodies with clinical manifestations and disease activity.MethodsWe included 80 children with JSLE and 56 children with other rheumatic diseases into this study.Clinical records were reviewed.AnuA,antinuclear antibody (ANA) and anti-Sm antibody were detected by ELISA,ⅡF and Western-blot respectively.Anti-DNA were detected by ELISA and ⅡF.Disease activity was assessed by SLEDAI score.ResultsAnuA showed sensitivity of 76.25％ and specificity of 98.21％.AnuA combine with anti-dsDNA antibody or anti-Sm antibody was detected,the sensitivities and specificities were 83.05％,86.44％ and 96.43％,98.21％,respectively.It showed that the sensitivity was higher than any one of the three.The presence of AnuA was associated with red blood cell count,hemoglobin level,ESR,hematuria,low complement levels and anti-dsDNA antibody (r=-0.499,-0.503,0.388,0.227,0.303,0.531,P=0.000,0.000,0.000,0.042,0.006,0.000).The presence of AnuA was associated with the SLEDAI score(P=0.000). Conclusion AunA hasthe highest sensitivity and specificityamongthese autoabtibodies,particularly,when combined with anti-dsDNA antibody or anti-Sm antibody.The level of AnuA is associated with the disease activity of JSLE.AnuA is not only useful for the diagnosis of JSLE but also for evaluation of the disease activity.

Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture combined with massage on vertebral artery cervical spondylosis.Methods 100 patients with vertebral artery cervical spondylosis were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group with 50 cases in each group.The cases of the treatment group were treated with acupuncture neck to Jiaji,Baihui,Wind Point acupoints and massage therapy.The cases of the control group only took sibelium orally.Results The cure rate and total effective rate of the treatment group were 70.0% and 98.0% respectively;those of the control group were 51.1% and 86.0%.There was a significant difference in cure rate and total effective rate between two groups(P<0.05～0.01).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with massage treatment is effect on vertebral artery cervical spondylosis.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of Naoxueshu oral liquid on cerebral hemorrhage caused by hypertension. Methods140 patients with cerebral hemorrhage were randomly dividied into two groups with a 1∶1 ratio,treatment group and control group. Patients in treatment group received Naoxueshu oral liquid 30 ml daily,while that in control received Naoxuekang oral liquid 30 ml daily. The changes of score on Chinese medical integration,National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke scale and the volume of intracranial hemorrhage were evaluated before and a month after treatment.ResultsThe decrease of NIH score of patients in treatment group was (12.73±3.94),but(4.72±3.01) with the control's (t=13.5327,P<0.001). The decrease of the volume of intracranial hemorrhage of patients in treatment group was (13.28±4.17) ml,but (8.37±7.24) ml with the control's(t=4.9228,P<0.001). ConclusionComparing with Naoxuekang,Naoxueshu can accelerate absorption of hematome and ameliorate the recovery of neurological disability more efficiently.

Objective:To compare the expression and biological activity of glucosyl transferases (GTFs)of Streptococcus mutans (S.mutans)under normal outside environment between high temperature requirment serine proteinase A(HtrA)-deficient strains and high virulent strains isolated from children with high cario-susceptibility.Methods:The HtrA-deficient strains and high virulent strains of S.mutans were obtained by preliminary study.The strains were reanimated and incubated in BHI medium to exponential phase at tenth hour.The expression of gtfB,gtfC and gtfD were detected by real-time RT-PCR.The biological activity of the GTFs were detected by entong sulfuric acid method and Western Blot.Results:The expression of gtfs and GTFs in the HtrA-deficient strains was higher than those of high virulent strains,but the biological activity of the GTFs was lower.Conclusion:The HtrA gene plays an important regulatory role in the process of the GTFs expression of S.mutans isolated from children with high cario-susceptibility.

Objective: To investigate the mechanism of improvement effect of electro-acupuncture at acupoint Neiguan (PC 6) on acute myocardial ischemia (AMI). Methods: Ninety-six rats were randomly divided into sham-operation group, myocardial ischemia model group and myocardial ischemia model plus electro-acupuncture group, the rat model of AMI was established by occlusion of the anterior descending branch of the left coronary artery, then electro-acupuncture therapy was performed at bilateral acupoint Neiguan (PC 6). The myocardial enzyme activities in plasma was detected with biochemical method, and the myocardial c-fos gene expression was detected with reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) method. Results: The myocardial enzyme activities in plasma and the myocardial c-fos gene expression in myocardial ischemia model group were obviously higher than those in sham group(P＜ 0.05), after electro-acupuncture treatment, the myocardial enzyme activities in plasma and the myocardial c-fos gene expression were decreased,there was a significant difference (P＜ 0.05). Conclusion: The mechanism of improvement effect of electro-acupuncture at acupoint Neiguan (PC 6) on AMI is related to down-regulation of the myocardial c-fos mRNA expression.
