Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2009;38(5):575-580
Objective To study the distribution characteristics and relationship of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) .substance P(SP), vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP) and nitric oxide synthase ( NOS)-positive neurons in intestinal tract of rats. Methods The distributions of AChE,SP, VIP and NOS-positive neurons in duodenum, jejunum, ileum, colon and rectum of rats were respectively observed by using enzyme histochemical and immunohistochemical methods. Results Four types of positive neurons distributed throughout in each laminae of intestinal tract of rats, and there was accompanying and resemble distribution regularity. From duodenum, jejunum to ileum, four types of positive neurons showed gradual increase tendency in quantity, while from colon to rectum, they showed gradual decrease tendency in quantity. There were extremely abundant AChE-posi-tive neurons in each laminae of intestinal tract of rats, comparatively rich NOS and SP-positive neurons in Auerbach'myenteric plexus(AMP) ,and comparatively rich VIP-ir positive neurons in the Meissner's submucosal plexus(MSP)and mucosa. Density on the distribution of four types of positive neurons was AChE>NOS>VIP>SP. There was coexistence of four types of neurons, and there were synapse-like contacts in four types of neurons in AMP. Conclusion There were significant differences in the density on the distribution of AChE,SP, VIP and NOS-positive neurons in different segments of intestinal tract of rats, and there was close morphological relationship among four types of neurons in AMP. It was deduced that they exerted synergistic effects in regulating motility of the intestine.
3.The Effect of STI571 on the CD_(117) Expression and Differentiation of Mononuclear Cells in Patients with Acute Non-lymphocytic Leukemia
Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(05):-
Objective To explore the effect of STI571 on the CD_~117 expression and differentiation of bone marrow mononuclear cells in patients with acute non-lymphocytic leukemia(ANLL). Methods CD_~117 expression before and after STI571 treatment in vitro was assayed by FACS, and the cell differentiation was observed by Giemsa and peroxidase staining. Results After different concentrations of STI571 treatment in vitro, there was different degrees of differentiation in granulocytes and monocytes from patients with ANLL. With the increase of STI571 concentration, the number of progranulocyte and promyelocyte gradually decreased, the number of myelocyte, metamyelocyte and monocyte increased, and the positive degree of peroxidase staining increased. CD_~117 expression significantly decreased after STI571 treatment compared with before it. Conclusion STI571 could induce leukemia cells of ANLL into terminal differentiation by inhibiting c-kit tyrosine kinase.

Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of pinacidil, an ATP-sensitive K + channel opener in protecting myocardium of immature rabbit heart from ischemia-reperfusion injury. Methods Fifty-two rabbits of 3-4 weeks old, weighing 350-450g were anesthetized with intraperitoneal pentobarbital sodium(50mg/kg). Hearts were excised and connected to modified Langendorff perfusion system and passively perfused with Krebs-Henseleit buffer(KHB) at 76 cmH 2O. Hearts were made globally ischemic for 30 min by aortic crossclamping and then reperfused for 30min. During ischemia the hearts received 20-25 ml cardioplegic solution of diferent constituents every 15 min. There were four groups with 13 hearts in each group based on the diferent constituents of cardioplegic solution: group Ⅰ(control, no cardioplegic solution); group Ⅱ(KHB+K + 16mmol/l); group Ⅲ(KHB+K +16mmol/L+pinacidil 50?mol/L); group Ⅳ (KHB+K +16mmol/L+glibenclamide 10?mol/L). Left ventricle developed pressure (LVDP), left ventricle diastolic pressure (LVEDP),?dp/dtmax, coronary flow (CF), and the levels of CK, LDH and AST in coronary sirnus veneous effluent and by myocardial ultrastructural changes. Myocardial ultrastructure was examined before and after ischemia. Results Before myocardial ischemia, there were no significant differences in the above mentioned parameters among four groups. Group Ⅲ was the best in terms of postischemic recovery of LVDP, LVEDP,?dp/dtmax and CF. The changes in CK,LDH,AST levels and myocardial ultrastructure were the least in group Ⅲ.Conclusions Pinacidil can afford best myocardial protection against ischemia-reperfusion injury in immature rabbit hearts.

6.The role of the IL 33/ST2 axis in pneumonia
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2017;30(12):1332-1335
Interleukin 33 (IL 33) is a recently described member of the IL 1 family and widely exists in cells and tissues.IL 33/ST2 axis is mainly associated with the secretion of IL 4,IL 5 and IL 13,which are involved in the initiation or progression of specific Th2 responses. It contributes to the macrophage alternative polarization, dendritic cell regulation, and direct effects on T cells. These effects explain how IL 33/ST2 axis plays contrasting roles in lung diseases.Although IL 33/ST2 axis has been extensively studied in various lung inflammatory diseases,a comprehensive overview on the role of this cytokine in infectious pneumonia is actually lacking. Therefore,we summarize the recent advances on the role of IL 33/ST2 axis in pneumonia caused by various viral, bacterial, fungal and helminth.
