ObjectiveTo investigate the therapeutic effectiveness of defibrase in treating penumbra and reperfusion.MethodsIntraluminal suture method was used to develope reversible middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO). Rats were subjected to MCAO 3 hours followed by reperfusion for 3, 6, 24, 72 hours, and to MCAO 6 hours followed by reperfusion for 3, 6, 24 hours. The treatment groups rats were injected intravenously defibrase at 0.5 hour before reperfusion. Meanwhile, the control group received normal saline. Clinically Neurological Deficits Scale were evaluated every day. Infarction volume was measured by using 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining. Pathologic change were examined microscopically in HE stained sections.ResultsThere were significant difference at treatment groups of reperfusion 3 hours after MCAO.Infarction volume and Clinically Neurological Deficits Scale was significant reduced as control group (P<0.05). There were no significant differences at treatment groups of reperfusion 6 hours after MCAO (P>0.05). Cerebral hemorrhage wasn't increased in defibrase treatment group.ConclusionsDefibrase was effective on Clinically Neurological Deficits of rats in reperfusion 3 hours after MCAO.

[ABSTRACT]OBJECTIVETo observe the correlation of laryngopharyngeal reflux disease(LPRD) with anxiety and depression symptoms, and to study the treatment efficacy.METHODSThe clinical data of 98 cases with LPRD were retrospectively analyzed from March 2014 to December 2014. According to the result of the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS) scores, 56 cases were normal and 42 cases were abnormal. The abnormal group were randomly divided into treatment group(21 cases) and control group(21cases).The control group and normal HADS group were treated by omeprazole capsules, treatment group was given omeprazole capsules and flupenthixol melitracen tablets with psychological adjustment.RESULTS The effective rate of treatment group and control group was 66.67% and 14.29% respectively, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=11.958,P<0.05). The difference between the normal HADS group and the control group also was significant(χ2=8.843,P<0.05). The difference between the normal HADS group and the treatment group was not significant(χ2=1.372,P>0.05).CONCLUSION Laryngopharyngeal reflux in some patients exist state of anxiety or depression. Individualized treatment in patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux can improve the efficacy.

Objective To verify the effects of different conc entrations of auecifemine on the function of osteoblast cell expression and oste ogenic ability in vitro . Methods Iliac spongy bone specimens were obtained from twel ve adult patients scheduled surgery. After the bone pieces were treated with col lagenase-trypsin, osteoblasts were obtained from cancellous bones. Then the ost eoblasts were purified and cultivated. They were cultured in medium with various concentrations(1?10 -11 , 1?10 -9 , 1?10 -7 , 1?10 -6 , 1 ?10 -5 , 5?10 -5 mol?L -1 ). The alkaline phosphatase (ALP) acti vity, osterocalcin and osteogenic ability were examined by biochemical assay and radioimmunologic assay (RIA), respectively. Results The co rrelation of auecifemine of different concentrations with ALP activity and osteo calcin secretion was positive. Auecifemine of lower concentrations (1?10 -11 mol?L -1 , 1?10 -9 mol?L -1 and 1?10 -7 mol?L -1 ) s howed the stimulating effect on osteogenic ability and but not higher concentrat ion. Conclusion Estrogen can increase osteoblast ALP activi ty, osteocalcin production, and osteogenic ability.

Purpose:To study the correlation between lymph node metastasis(LNM) and the expression of 10 cancer associated genes in endoscopic biopsy specimens of stomach cancer and to investigate their value in predicting metastasis. Methods:The expression of CD44V6,E cadherin, VEGF, EGFR, P53, nm23 H1, Fas, FasL, Cath B, Cath D was detected by immunohistochemistry in 44 endoscopic biopsy specimens and correlated to the incidence of LNM. Results:The LNM of stomach cancer was positively correlated with the level of expression of VEGF and EGFR, but negatively correlated with that of Fas expression. Co expressions of VEGF(+)EGFR(+), VEGF(+)E cadherin( ), VEGF(+)Fas( ) and EGFR(+)Fas( ) were related with the LNM respectively. The sensitivity and specificity for predicting LNM were low when 3 single index was observed. The specificity for predicting LNM was increased, but the sensitivity was very much decreased when 4 co indexes were observed. Conclusions:The examination of cancer associated genes in endoscopic biopsy specimens of stomach cancer is of no clinical significance in predicting LNM of stomach cancer.

Objective To explore the role of somatosensory evoked potentials elicited by paraspinal stimulation in the detection of spinal cord lesions. Methods Patients with clinically suspected spinal cord lesions underwent somatosensory evoked potentials(SEPs)and spinal cord conduction velocity(SCCV)test using paraspinal stimulating method.96 patients aged 15 to 75 years old with suspected spinal cord lesions of various aetiologies were tested.36 patients had demyelinating disease of the spinal cord,26 had sub-acute combined degeneration of the spinal cord,19 had myelopathy,10 had acute myelitis,5 had spinal cord corhpression. Results Paraspinal stimulation elicited somatosensory evoked potentials were Performed on all 96 patients,68 of whom underwent spinal MRI as well.SEPs and SCCV were found abnormal in a high ratio in all kinds of spinal cord lesions ; in general,78 among the 96 patients had abnormal SEPs with a sensitivity of 81.25%.27 out of 36 with demyelinating disease of the spine had abnormal SEPs with a sensitivity of 75.00%,23 out of 26 with subacute combined degeneration of the spinal cord had abnormal SEPs with a sensitivity of 88.46%,8 out of 10 with acute myelitis had abnormal SEPs,15 patients with myelopathy having abnormal findings, all 5 patients with spinal cord compression had abnormal SEPs.42 of 68 patients undergoing MRI revealed to be abnormal,in which 35 patients also had abnormal SEPs.The other 26 patients had normal spinal MRI,in which 21 patients had abnormal SEPs.Conclusions Paraspinal stimulation somatosensory evoked potentials and spinal cord conduction velocity may objectively document the abnormalities of electrophysiology, which occurs earlier than those of anatomy and radiological finds, therefore it may detect the dysfunction of spinal cord at an early stage. It is even more useful in the detecting of the metabolic myelopathy, which can hardly be detected by MRI.This technique is simple, inexpensive, and maybe useful in the diagnosis for patients with suspected spinal cord lesions.
