OBJECTIVE:To investigate therapeutic efficacy and safety of edaravone and nimodipine in the treatment of acute large area cerebral infarction. METHODS:101 patients with acute large area cerebral infarction were analyzed retrospectively and divided into control group (53 cases) and observation group (48 cases) according to drug use. After admission, control group re-ceived routine treatment as relieving cerebral edema, anticoagulant and antiplatelet agglutination. Observation group was additional-ly given Edaravone injection 30 mg added into 0.9%Sodium chloride injection 100 mL intravenously, within 30 min, twice a day+Nimodipine injection 12 mg added into 0.9%Sodium chloride injection 500 mL intravenously, once a day,at dripping speed of 0.5μg/(kg·min),for 10 days, and then given Nimodipine tablet 60 mg orally instead,3 times a day,for 5 d,on the basis of control group. Treatment course of 2 groups lasted for 15 d. Clinical efficacies of 2 groups were observed as well as SpO2,hemoglobin (Hb),total hemoglobin (HBT),reduced hemoglobin (MHb),NIHSS score and the occurrence of ADR before and after treat-ment. RESULTS:Total response rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group, with statistical signifi-cance(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in the levels of SpO2,Hb,HBT,MHb and NIHSS score between 2 groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of SpO2,HBT and MHb in 2 groups were significantly higher than be-fore,and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group;NIHSS score of 2 groups were significantly lower than before, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group;Hb level of 2 groups were significantly low-er than before, with statistical significance(P<0.05),but there was no statistical significance in Hb level between 2 groups(P>0.05). No obvious ADR was found in 2 groups during treatment. CONCLUSIONS:On the basis of conventional therapy,edara-vone combined with nimodipine in the treatment of acute large area cerebral infarction has significant therapeutic efficacy, can im-prove neurological impairment, but doesn't increase the occurrence of ADR.

The health inspection and quarantine specialty is a new undergraduate specialty published by Ministry of Education in 2012.But the health inspection professional or preventive medicine (health inspection subspectialty) set in our country put more emphasis on the content of health inspectionor medical examination, rarely involved in the Quarantine content. Therefore, according to the new professional requirements and training objectives, combined with other quarantine specialty course teaching experience and the disciplinary characteristics,we explored a feasible way to develop the discipline and training, from the health and quarantine courses setting, teaching theory, teaching practice, teaching evaluation and management aspects.

On the background of internationalization for higher education,we have reformed the educational model for bachelor students majoring in public health laboratory science and quarantine. The exploration and pilot study are focused on educational principles, curriculum planning, teaching patterns, experiments and practice, and teachem training. The four teaching strategies have been firstly recommended as follows:laying the strongest foundation of chemistry, expanding quarantine-related curricula for increasing quarantine capability, making full use of strength of clinical laboratory medicine, emphasizing English application. The curricula structure is refined and more social supporting resources have been got to make globalization to cultivate more health inspection and quarantine talents with multidisciplinary knowledge, abilities and strong adaptability.

The incidence of aduIt obesity, diabetes, hyperIipidemia and hypertention has been rising dramaticaIIy in recent years. Obesity and overweight have become a significant pubIic heaIth probIem worIdwide. Though obesity is caused by compIex interactions between genetic, behavioraI,and environ-mentaI factors, its etioIogy is stiII uncIear. There is growing evidence that exposure to bisphenoI A(BPA) during prenataI and neonataI or adoIescence periods Ieads to much body mass gain. In addition,in epi-demioIogicaI studies, the association between BPA exposure and obesity and type 2 diabetes has been found. The potentiaI mechanism may be attributed to promoted differentiation and function in adipocytes via aIteration of a number of genes. BPA may act aIso through other mechanisms. It can directIy bind to nucIear receptors acting as agonists or antagonists and indirectIy disrupt hormone IeveIs by inhibiting enzymatic activity or by activating expression of the P450 enzymes. This review is focused on the effects of estrogenic endocrine disrupting chemicaIs such as BPA on the deveIopment of obesity.

With the continuous development of society, a large number of new chemicals are continuously emerging, which presents a challenge to current risk assessment and safety management of chemicals. Traditional toxicology research methods have certain limitations in quickly, efficiently, and accurately assessing the toxicity of many chemicals, and cannot meet the actual needs. In response to this challenge, computational toxicology that use mathematical and computer models to achieve the prediction of chemical toxicity has emerged. In the meantime, as researchers increasingly pay attention to understanding the interaction mechanisms between exogenous chemical substances and the body from the system level, and multiomics technologies develop rapidly such as genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics, huge amounts of data have been generated, providing rich information resources for studying the interactions between chemical substances and biological molecules. System toxicology and network toxicology have also developed accordingly. Of these, network toxicology can integrate these multiomics data to construct biomolecular networks, and then quickly predict the key toxicological targets and pathways of chemicals at the molecular level. This paper outlined the concept and development of network toxicology, summarized the main methods and supporting tools of network toxicology research, expounded the application status of network toxicology in studying potential toxicity of exogenous chemicals such as agricultural chemicals, environmental pollutants, industrial chemicals, and foodborne chemicals, and analyzed the development prospects and limitations of network toxicology research. This paper aimed to provide a reference for the application of network toxicology in other fields.
