Objective To investigate the imaging and condylar movements during mandibular opening/closing movement in AngleⅡ2 malocclusion accompanying one side of temporomandibular joint(TMJ)click before and after orthodontic treatment. Methods There were 20 AngleⅡ2 malocclusion patients with one side of TMJ click in treatment group, and 23 with the individual normal occlusion in control group. This study was performed taking the films of Sch?ller position before and after treatment, using CADIAX to record the condylar tracings during opening/closing movement and analyze the qualitative and quantitive changes. Results In AngleⅡ2 malocclusion patients, the condylar position of 58.33% patients recovered from retroposition to mesoposition. The condyle movement presented conspicuous verticality, the smoothing and symmetry were not well, and obvious improvements were observed after the treatment. All the index changed remarkably except the TCI and TCI of 5 mm.Conclusion It is suggested that orthodontic treatment can make the disc-condyle relationship return to normalization, and the condylar movement become much more coherent.

In order to explore the environmental pest management method of Dorysthenes hydropicus, three strains of entomopathogenic nematodes, viz. Heterorhabditis bacteriphora (H06), Steinernema scapterisci (SS), S. carpocapsae (All) were used on larvae of Dorysthenes hydropicus, with treatments of 0, 5 000 and 10 000 nematodes each larva. The result showed that these three strains viz. All, H06 and SS had high lethal effects on the larvae. Lethal rates had dose-effects relationship with inoculation amounts. High dose treatments resulted in high mortalities and led to quick death, especially in the treatment of H06. Treatment of H06 with 10 000 nematodes per larva resulted in 100% mortality after inoculated 4 days. Different strains of these nematodes had various lethal characters, H06 with only one peak mortality, the larvae died quickly after inoculated, while All and SS with 2 peak mortalities, there was a stable stage with low mortality between the 2 peak mortalities. Entomopathogenic nematodes could be used as a hopeful method for controlling of Dorysthenes hydropicus in fields.

Objective To observe the effects of comprehensive treatment of aerobic exercise and medicine on the levels of serum immunoglobulins and cytokines in rats with chronic abacterial prostatitis (CAP).Methods Forty healthy adult male SD rats were randomly divided into the normal control group,CAP model control group, exercise treatment group, medicine treatment group and exercise and medicine comprehensive treatment group,8 cases in each group. The CAP rat model was prepared by the injection of Xiaozhiling, and after 7 d of rat model construction, the exercise treatment group and exercise and medicine comprehensive treat ment group conducted once swimming exercise at fixed time every day,6 d per week for 4 continuous weeks;the medicine treatment group and exercise and medicine comprehensive treatment group were given Qianlieshutong Capsule aqueous solution for gavage treatment every day;the normal control group, model control group and exercise treatment group performed gastric gavage with sterile normal saline. On 14,28 d of the treatment process the rats in each group were sacrificed. The indicators such as serum immunoglobulins and cytokines in rats were detected by using ELISA.Results On 14 d,compared with the normal control group, the levels of serum IgG,IgA,IgM,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in each experimental group were increased significantly (P< 0.05),while which had no statistically significant difference between the exercise treatment group and model control group and between the comprehensive treatment group and medicine treatment group(P>0.05);on 28 d,the levels of IgG,IgM,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in the exercise treatment group were significantly lower than those in the model control group(P<0.05),the levels of IgG,IgA,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in the comprehensive treatment group were significantly lower than those in the medicine treatment group (P<0.05),moreover were close to those in the normal control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Aerobic exercise can reduce the levels of serum immunoglobulins and cytokines in CAP rats, and the effect is more obviousin CAP rats treated by comprehensive therapy combined with medicine.

A type of entomopathogenic fungus of soil in Citrus grandis 'tomentosa' production base was isolated and identified with morphological and molecular biological methods, including pathogenesis, spore characteristic and ITS sequence analysis were conducted. The results showed that eighteen entomopathogenic fungi strains were isolated from the Tenebrio molitor infected in the soil samples, which were identified as Metarhizium anisopliae var. anisopliae. Based on results above, we concluded that there was quantity of Metarhizium resources in this area. These provided the useful information for controlling some pests of C. grandis by using these strains of fungus.
