Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(06):-
Objective To analyse the tongue characteristics of cancer patients during chemotherapy ,in order to guide the TCM treatment. Methods 42 patients' tongue figure was collected respectively before and after chemotherapy by Canon digital camera, then to analyse the characteristics. Results Purple tongue was the most common in tongue color, account for 38.10%;meanwhile the tongue with stasis patch or with toothmark were common in tongue shape, account for respectively 26.19% and 21.43%;white thick or greasy tongue fur was the most common, especially in the central of tongue. Conclusion Deficience of Qi and blood stasis syndrome is common in cancer patients after chemotherapy, it is helpful to provide tasis for treatment of tonifying Qi and activating blood during chemotherapy.

The growth-propagation and decolorization-degradation systems for the model dy e Biebrich Scarlet by Trametes hirsuta were established preliminar ily. It was showed that 30℃ and the static culture were better; the effects of compo nents in culture media on the efficiencies of decolorization and degradation wer e not significant; considering the convenience of observing the changes of dye c o lors and shortenig the culture period, the potato liquid medium had the advantag e of others as a preferable medium for reaction systems of Trametes hirsuta . The decolorization and degradation of all dyes Biebrich Scarlet and Direct Deep Blu e L-3RB, Reactive Blue X-BR, Basic Violet 5BN, and Methylene Blue by Tramete s hirsuta were better.

ObjectiveTo study the relationship between function of cardiac autonomic nervous system and 24-hourambulatory blood pressure in diabetes mellitus with normal blood pressure in the casual assay.Methods71 DMpatients with normal blood pressure in casual assay were measured with cardiac power spectral analysis and 24hAMBPassessment.ResultsThere was no difference in 24hAMBP between DM patients without AND and normal subjects.24-hour ambulatory systolic pressure values and the prevalence of blood pressure burden in DM patients with mild AND were significantly higher than that in the control group and the percentage of day-night change in AMBP weresignificantly lower than that in the control group. In DM patients with severe AND, 24-hour ambulatory systolicpressure values and the prevalence of 24hAMBP burden were higher and the percentage of day-night change was lowerthan that in DM patients with mild AND, however, there was no significant difference between them. Conclusion Blood pressure was in severe disorder as soon as cardiac AND appear in DM patients with normal casual blood pressure.Abnormality of ANSF and blood pressure in DM patients contributed to the onset and development of cardiovascularevents. They are very important for investigating cardiac ANSF in DM patients and early intervening and treating DMpatients with AND.

Objective To explore influence of long-term inhaled glucocoticoids(IGS) on soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1)) in children with bronchial asthma. Methods Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) method was used to detect the serum sICAM-1 level in 36 healthy children and 29 children with bronchial asthma(untreated and post-treated for 3,6 and 12 months). Results 1.Serum sICAM-1 level was significantly elevated in children with asthma and significantly higher than that in normal control group(P

Objective To investigate the clinical and laboratory features of male patients with anti-phospholipid syndrome (APS).Methods Thirty-three male APS patients admitted to Peking University People's Hospital from January 2003 to April 2015 were enrolled. One hundred and fourteen female APS patients were selected as controls.Female patients with thrombosis were analyzed.x2 test, Fisher's exact test and t test were used for statistical analysis. Results Among male patients, 39.4% were primary APS and 60.6% were secondary APS.Compare with female patients, the prevalence of venous thrombosis was significantly higher than that in male APS (72.7% vs 29.8%,x2=19.719, P=0.000).The male APS patients experienced more episodes of thrombosis (75.8% vs 22.8%, x2=31.669, P=0.000) and not less than two locations of thrombosis than female (69.7% vs 22.8%, x2=25.321, P=0.000), there was still significant difference between male patients and female patients with thrombosis. There was no difference of antiphopholipid antibodies between the two groups. Conclusion Male patients with antiphospholipid syndrome are more prone to have thrombosis.More clinical interventions should be implemented in male patients with APS.

Objective To investigate the status of disease stigma among patients with cervical cancer and explore the influencing factors. Method Two hundred and six patients with cervical cancer participated in the study by the social impact scale (SIS) and general information questionnaire and the relevant factors were analyzed. Results The average score of SIS was (68.04 ± 17.36). The influencing factors included the following factors age, marriage, income, profession, education and disease course (P<0.05). Conclusions The stigma in patients with cervical cancer is at a higher level and the influencing factors are diverse. It is significant to relieve their stigma and better their quality of life by strengthening psychological intervention and health instruction and establishing social support system.
