Since the teaching and research of sexual medicine in our country is conducted for not a long time, the available materials and information about it are not enough. In order to improve the quality of sexual medicine teaching and accumulate teaching experience, based on the teaching practice of sexual medicine in our school in the past,a brief summary and analysis about the teaching purpose, subject design, and the teaching method and effect of sexual medicine in our school are reviewed in the present article.

With the wide spread of sex and reproductive health knowledge and the deep influence of various cultures, there has been made rapid progress in the study and spread of sex knowledge in our country. It is quite necessary to add courses on sexology in medical higher schools. After a systematic study, students will master the related medical knowledge about sex in a full and scientific way, which will help them lay a solid foundation in their future study of sexology, gynecology and obstetrics, male science and family planning and carry out effective clinical diagnosis treatment for the patients with sex and related diseases.
3.Neurobiology of head-neck squamous cell carcinoma
Journal of International Oncology 2013;40(11):830-833
Neonatal nerves exist in tumor tissues, and tumor cells can invade nerve by neurogenesis.Current research shows that cancer cells can secrete cytokines to promote the differentiation and growth of nerve cells,in turn, the differentiation and growth of nerve cells can stimulate tumor development and metastasis.Neurogenesis is one way of interaction bettween tumor cells and microenvironment similar to angiogenesis and lymphangiogcnesis, which has a major impact on biological behavior of tumor cells and prognosis.

The effect of reaction media cosolvent water activity, temperature and pH on Novozym 435-caulyzed enantioselective esterification of ketoprofen was systematically explored. Novozym 435 showed high catalytic activity and enantioselectivity in cyclohexane; E value increases markedly by addition of toluene to cyclohexane; the optimum temperature and the initial water activity were found to be 30℃ and 0.09 respectively; pH shows little effect on enzymatic reaction wilson the scope studied.

Objective To study the effect of astrocyte on synapse formation and the molecular mechanism. Methods Cortical astrocytes were isolated and purified from neonatal rats.On the 2h,7th day,14th day and 21th day after passage,we counted the number of astrocytes and the culture medium(astrocyte-conditioned medium,ACM)was harvested to measure the concentration of estrogen(E 2)by using ELISA techniques.Based on the model of pure culures of neonatal cortical neurons, the experimental groups were designed as follows:1.pure neuron cultures(group N);2.ACM cultures(group A);3.mixed cultures(group M);4.E 2 cultures(group E 2);5.ACM+Tamoxifen(estrogen receptor antagonist)cultures(group A+T);6.Tamoxifen cultures(group T).Then synaptic puncta in every group was stained and counted through immunofluorescence, and we also compared the differences in puncta number among those six groups(at 9th day in culture,number/per neuron). Results The numbers of astrocytes were:1?10 4/ml, 1.1?10 6/ml, 1.4?10 6/ml, 1.5?10 6/ml; The concentrations of E 2 were:(ng/L):0, 117?22, 266?22,252?27 respectively. No estrogen was detected in the primary culture medium. The concenteration of estrogen increased in correspondence with the culturing days and reached the peak around at the 14th day, then decreased gradually but kept at a certain high level, and the numbers of synaptic puncta of per neuron in group N,A,M,E 2,A+T,T were:14?3;79?5;83?8;80?6;32?3;29?3 respectively. The treatment of pure neuron culture with ACM increased the number of synapses on per neuron by up to 6 fold by comparison with pure neuronal culture.Exogenic estradiol added into pure neurons can mimick the effect of the ACM.Tamoxifen which is antagonist of estrogen receptor could decrease the effect of ACM by 75%.Conclusion The astrocytes of neonatal rat cortex do secrete E 2.Astrocyte-derived estrogen may be the molecule regulating the synaptic formation through estrogen receptors.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(01):-
Aim To investigate the method of culturing vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) of coronary arteries derived from experimental diabetic rats and to establish the model of VSMC for the study of chronic cardiovascular diseases of diabetes. Method After the establishment of the model of diabetic rats, the coronary arteries of rats were separated carefully to culture VSMC using the method of explanting culture. Results The primary culture of VSMC was performed successfully by the method mentioned above. The cells could be isolated by different kinds of digestive enzyme in three steps. 7 ~10 days afterward, the cells overlapped in layers and displayed the typical ‘hill and valley’ pattern and positive immunochemical staining for smooth muscle actin. Conclusion VSMC from experimental diabetes proliferates faster than normal VSMC and its cultivating condition is strictly limited. The morphology of diabetic VSMC is as same as that of normal rats.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(21):-
Objective To investigate the effect of PTEN gene in the mouse uterus during embryo implantation. Methods Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(FQ-PCR) was used to detect PTEN mRNA expressed in the endometria of the nonpregnant mice and the late pregnant mice(day 1,day 3,day 4,day 5 and day 7),with 20 mice sacrificed at each fixed day.Out of another 20 3-day pregnant mice, ten received PTEN antisense oligonucleotide at the horn of uterus and ten received normal saline to count the blastocysts at pregnant day 8.Results The PTEN mRNA/?-actin mRNA in pregnant mice was higher than that of nonpregnant mice, gradually hoisted as days passed by,and reached the highest at pregnant day 5.The number of blastocysts in the mice that received PTEN antisense oligonucleotide was fewer than that received normal saline. Conclusion PTEN persistently expresses in mouse endometria during the early pregnancy and maybe participate in the regulation process of mouse blastodyst implantation.
