2.COLONIZATON OF STREPTOMYCIN RESISTANT RL-4 OF AS_(818) ON SOYBEAN RHIZOSPHERE
Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
Spore suspension of Streptomyce s griseus AS 818 (10 6/mL)was radiated b y Co 60 -radiation,the radiation dosage was 1?10 4rad.And 5 streptomy cin resis tant mutants (above 50?g/mL) were screened, then the resistant level of mutant RL-4 was induced to 100?g/mL.The number of RL-4 colonizing on soybean roots pl anted on 1% Water agar or in sterile soil was determined. The results showed tha t it could colonize on soybean rhizosphere and rhizoplane for a short period,bu t there is a little difference. When it was examined in 1% Water agar, the numb er of RL-4 raised gradually in soybean rhizoplane in 4 weeks. But when examined in sterile soil,RL-4 reduced about 100 times at the 1 st week, then raised gradually and reached the highest point at the 3 rd week, and decreased aga in at the 4 th week,In the rhizoplane,it reduced gradually from the 1 st week, and couldn't be examined at the 4 th week. Mutant RL-4 couldn't be found in soybean endorhizosphere by tissue printing.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of intraductal ulstrasonography(IDUS)in non-opaque bile duct stones. Methods Between January 2009 and August 2010 in the Department of Gastroenterology at Shanghai 10th People's Hospital,a total of 183 patients(male:102 cases, mean age 69 years; female:81 cases, mean age 71 years)were enrolled, who were suspected of bile duct stones or stenosis which could not be diagnosed by abdominal CT,MRI,and abdominal B-mode ultrasound. All the patients underwent endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)first, and then patients with non-opaque bile duct stones followed by IDUS.Results A total of 134 cases (73.2%)of bile duct stones were diagnosed by ERCP,49 cases(26.8%)were negative. And then the 49 patients underwent IDUS,of whom 24 patients with sand-like stones,11 patients with lowdensity stones,6 patients with ampullary cancer,2 patients with pancreatic cancer,6 patients with sclerosing cholangitis. The diagnostic accuracy of IDUS in the position and quality of bile duct stones was 100%,higher than that of ERCP,which was 80%.After ERCP,pancreatitis occurred in 3 patients and improved after conservative treatment, there was no complications like perforation and bleeding. Conclusion The diagnostic accuracy of IDUS in the position and quality of bile duct stones is high, which can make up for the misdiagnosis by ERCP without increasing the complications.IDUS can provide reliable basis for the diagnosis of clinical bile duct stones.

Objective To establish a real time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction method for detecting WT1 and to understand the expression levels of WT1 in acute lymphocytic leukemia(ALL) of children through examining peripheral blood of leukemia children. Methods Thirty ALL patients, 13 non-leukemia Children and 18 normal children were included in this study. The method of real time RT-PCR detecting the expression of WT1 was established. The expression levels of WT1 gene were tested by this method. Results The expression levels of WT1 in 13 ALL with newly diagnosed patients were (105-106)copies/?g RNA, 12 with partial remission were (102-104)copies/?g RNA and 12 with complete remission were (0-102)copies/?g RNA.Conclusions Significant expression levels of WT1 in ALL are higher than those in non-leukemias and normal children.WT1 could be a marker for detecting minimal residual disease and evaluating therapy efficacy in ALL.

Objective To investigate the short-term and long-term effect of motor imagery training on visual imagery and kinesthetic imagery of athletes. Methods Twenty athletes majoring in the sports training of Capital University of Physical Education were selected into the experimental group, while 20 counterparts majoring in the human kinetic science were selected into the control group. All subjects received motor imagery training, and were assessed their visual imagery and kinesthetic imagery at three before the training,as well as ten minutes and 48 hours after the training. Results The repetitive measurement and analysis of variance showed that the visual imagery and kinesthetic imagery scores had the main effect of time factor [FvI (2,37)=7.57,P<0.01;FK1 (2,37)=ll.75,P<0.01)],as the scores were the highest at ten minutes after training, the second highest at 48 hours after training and the lowest before training. The visual imaginary scores increased significantly after the training, but had no significant difference 48 hours after the training compared to that before the training. After the training the kinesthetic imagery scores increased significantly and then declined slowly, and there were significant differences in the score before and 48 hours after the training (P=0.009).The experimental group and the control group had the same change trend in the visual and kinesthetic imagery scores. The average scores of the former group were higher than the latter at the same time points but without significant differences. The visual and kinesthetic imagery scores had no main effect of group factor, and there was no interaction effect of time factor and group factor. Conclusion Motor imagery training could increase the ability of visual and kinesthetic imagery of people never participating in motor imagery training and the short-term effect was more obvious. The long term effect of motor imagery training was more significant on kinesthetic imagery than visual imagery.

Class Ⅱa bacteriocins can be considered as the major subgroup of bacteriocins from lactic acid bacteria, not only because of their large number, but also because of their activities and potential applications. They have first attracted particular attention as listericidal compounds and are now believed to be the next in line if more bacteriocins are to be approved in the future. The present review attempts to provide an insight into general knowledge available for class Ⅱa bacteriocins and discuss common features and recent findings concerning these substances.

In this paper, an analysis was made on the varieties and standards of labiatae medicinal plants used in Tibetan medicine. The results showed 71 species of labiatae plants in 21 genera (including varieties) recorded in relevant literatures, involving 44 varieties of medicinal materials. Specifically, seven species (9.9%) were intersected with traditional Chinese medicines (TCM), 19 varieties (43%) were recorded in Chinese medicinal material standards at all levels, and 27 species (38%) were source plants. In Tibetan medicine standards and literatures, there are great differences between Tibetan names and translated Chinese names and among varieties of source plants. Apart from a few of varieties intersected with traditional Chinese medicines had complete standards and regulations in Chinese Pharmacopoeia, most of species only had characters, microscopic, physical and chemical identifications in Standards Issued by Ministry of Health-Tibetan Medicine, Tibetan Medicine Standard and local standards. Therefore, the Tibetan medicinal material variety-source specification and quality standard system shall be promoted on the basis of literatures research, investigations for resources and current applications and modern pharmaceutical studies.
