OBJECTIVE:To explore the material features and biocompatibility of coronary artery stent and related complications following implantation.METHODS:The databases of CNKI and Medline were searched by the first author using key words of "coronary artery stent,material,biocompatibility and complications" both in English and Chinese.Meta analysis or repetitive studies were excluded,and 16 papers were included in this analysis.RESULTS:Stent materials play an important role in reducing inflammatory reaction and restenosis following stent implantation.As a medical material for humans,the features of stent should be meet the requirements of reliable distensibility,mechanical persistence,good flexibilit and geometrical stability,possible small diameter,excellent blood compatibility,as well as good corrosion resistance.All of these depended on the mechanical and physical features of materials.CONCLUSION:The study of drug-coating stent and drug-eluting stent reduced the restenosis rates following implantation,and the biodegradable stent also attracted more attention.When treating coronary heart disease with cardiovascular stent,the complications should be avoided except consideration of the successful rate of reperfusion.

OBJECTIVE:To provide a method of quality control for Yugan Fuzheng capsule (preparation of Chinese materia medica). METHOD:High performance thin-layer chromatographic scanning (HPTLCS) was used for the determination of astragaloside Ⅳ in the preparation. RESULTS: The spots of astragaloside Ⅳ on the HPTLCS plate had a good linearity between its content and area within the range of 2～12μg(r＝0.9994).The average recovery was 98.9%,and the RSD was 2.00%. CONCLUSION: This qualitative determination for astragaloside Ⅳ can be used as quality control because of its convenience,accuracy and good reproducibility.

Objective To analyze the efficacy of epley maneuver associated with vertigo calming for treating posterior semicircular canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (PC-BPPV) in young.Methods Two hundred and fifty-eight cases(age was 18-50 years old) with PC-BPPV were randomly divided into maneuver group(86 cases),betahistine group(86 cases) and vertigo calming group(86 cases).The maneuver group was treated by epley maneuver associated with placebo,2 pills per time,3 times daily for one month and follow up one month.The betahistine group and vertigo calming group were treated by epley maneuver with betahistine(12 mg/ time,Tid) or vertigo calming(2 piles/time,Tid),the same dose,period of treatment and follow-up as maneuver group.Results After one time treatment,199 cases were cured in 258 patients,including 68 cases in maneuver group,66 cases in betahistine group,65 cases in vertigo calming group,and the difference between groups was not statistically significant(x2 =0.308,P＞0.05).After treatments and followed up for one month,72 cases were cured,3 cases were effective,11 cases were invalid in maneuver group;74 cases were cured,3 cases were effective,9 cases were invalid in betahistine group;81 cases were cured,4 cases were effective,1 cases were invalid in vertigo calming group.Efficient of betahistine group,maneuver group and vertigo calming group were 89.5％,87.2％ and 98.8％,and the difference between maneuver group and betahistine group was not statistically significant(x2=58.65,P＞0.05),the difference of vertigo calming group between with other groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The effects of vertigo calming in addition to Epley maneuver is significantly better than both Epley maneuver and Epley maneuver combined with betahistine in young PC-BPPV,while the effects of Epley maneuver combined with betahistine isn't better than Epley maneuver.

Background Compare with the lamellar laser refractive surgery,the laser slip on the surface operation is a better method in the correct of refractive error without the flap-related complications.However,whether to remain corneal epithelial flap and its influence for epithelial healing and visual restoration are still under investigation.Objective The aim of this study was to compare the short-term clinical efficacy of epipolis laser insitu keratomileusis (Epi-LASIK) and flap-free Epi-LASIK for correction of refractive error in high myopia.Methods The paired control design was adopted.Sixty eyes of consecutive 30 patients with high myopia were collected in this study.The written consent form was obtained from each patients prior to operation.Regular EpiLASIK was performed in the right eyes and the flap-free Epi-LASIK was carried out in the left eyes.Patients were followed-up for one month.The postoperative ocular irritation symptoms were scored,and the healing period of corneal epithelium and uncorrected visual acuity were examined at 1,3 and 5 days after operation.The naked visual acuity,diopter,best corrected visual acuity and the grading of haze were recorded and compared between the two groups at one month after operation.Results After surgery,the scores of corneal irritation were 3.13 ±0.43 and 3.30±0.47on the first day,showing insignificant differences between these two groups (t =- 1.54,P＞0.05 ).However,there existed statistically significant difference in the scores of corneal irritation on the third day after operation between the two groups (t =- 17.95,P＜0.01 ).The average time of corneal epithelial healing were (2.58 ±0.49 ) days in the flapfree Epi-LASIK group and ( 3.98 ±0.74) days in Epi-LASIK group with the significant difference between them (t=-11.36,P＜0.01 ).There was no statistical difference in uncorrected visual acuity in the first day (0.59±0.12 vs 0.58±0.11,t=0.39,P＞0.05),the fifth day (0.69±0.08 vs 0.67±0.09,t=0.84,P＞0.05) and 1 month (t =-1.90,P＞0.05 ).No significant difference was seen in the diopter between the two groups in 1 month after surgery (-1.03±0.45 vs -1.07 ±0.38,t =-0.31,P＞0.05 ).The eye numbers of corneal haze for 0 grade were 27 ( 90.00％ ) and over the 0.5 grade were 3 ( 10.00％ ) in flap-free Epi-LASIK group respectively,and those of corneal haze for 0 grade were 26(86.66％ ) and above the 0.5 grade were 4 (13.33％) in Epi-LASIK group respectively,showing a considerably difference between the two groups (x2 =0.0031,P＞0.05).Conclusions Both the flapfree or reserved epithelial Epi-LASIK allow the safe and effective correction of refractive error in high myopia,showing good predictability and stability in short term.Flap-free Epi-LASIK can relieve the corneal irritation symptom and accelerate the healing of corneal epithelium and recovery of visual acuity.

Objective To investigate the anti-tumor effects of hydroxycamptothecin ( HCPT ) with different lactone ratios on the mice models of H22 hepatoma. Methods Mice models of H22 hepatoma were established. Tumor inhibiting rates of HCPT with different lactone ratios ( 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) and the growth status of model mice before and after chemotherapy were observed. Serum biochemical indices were determined to investigate the effects of HCPT with different lactone ratios on hepatic and renal function of the mice. Results Positive control drug and HCPT with different lactone ratios all inhibited the tumor in mice with H22 hepatoma, the inhibition rate was 65. 30%, 12. 57%, 49. 23%, 75. 47%, 90. 06% and 93. 22%, respectively. Compared with the model control group, the living conditions of the mice in HCPT groups were improved. With increasing of lactone ratios, the hepatic injury was alleviated markedly, but the renal injury was aggravated. Conclusion There is a positive correlation between lactone ratios and its anti-tumor effect, and HCPT with 75% lactone can achieve preferable anti-tumor effect with less toxicity as compared with that with 100% lactone ratio.

Objective: To establish a highly efficient person-based mode of nursing quality management.Methods: We developed the idea of researching inspection conducted by nursing quality management groups of different duties,gave full play to the abilities of head nurses and key nurses and persisted in continuous correction,improvement and systematic management of objectives.Results: After the implementation of researching inspection,the quality of critical patients nursing and patients' satisfaction with nursing care were both obviously improved,and so were the working idea and enthusiasm of the head nurses and key nursing members.Conclusion: Researching inspection has enriched the connotation of nursing management,effectively improved nursing quality,and proved to be a practical method of nursing quality management.

Objective · To investigate the clinical effects of photo-activated disinfection (PAD)-assisted non-surgical therapy on the treatment of chronic periodontitis. Methods · Eleven patients with chronic periodontitis (totally 118 selected sites) were randomly enrolled. A split-mouth self-control method was adopted. Selected sites with the probing depth (PD) of bilateral homonymous teeth ≥ 5 mm were randomly assigned to the group A (receiving scaling and root planning, SRP) and the group B (receiving SRP+ PAD). Periodontal clinical indexes, inflammation indexes, and periodontal pathogens at selected sites were examined at baseline and 6 and 12 weeks after treatment. Results · Both SRP alone and SRP+PAD improved the periodontal inflammation significantly. The positive rate of bleeding on probing (BOP) 12 weeks after treatment was remarkably lower in the group B than in the group A (37.3% vs 57.6%, P=0.042). Both SRP and SRP+PAD effectively decreased matrix metalloproteinase-8 (MMP-8) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) levels in gingival crevicular fluid. The IL-1β levels 6 and 12 weeks after treatment were significantly lower in the group B than in the group A [(17.99±14.26) pg/mL vs (32.64±30.69) pg/mL, P=0.007; (11.37±10.25) pg/mL vs (23.85±15.55) pg/mL, P=0.000]. Both treatments decreased the ratio of P. gingivalis and F.nucleatum in total bacteria. Conclusion · PAD can serve as a potential adjunctive therapy to conventional SRP in the treatment of chronic periodontitis with better improvement of bleeding gums and control of periodontal inflammation.

A high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method using triethylamine (TEA), copper *" acetate and L-proline as the chiral mobile phase (CMP) and the enantiomric analysis of thyroxine (T4) are described. The influence of the mobile phase parameters including the TEA concentration, manipulation pH, concentration of Cu*", concentration of L-proline, temperature of column and flow rate of eluent on the enantiomers separation of thyroxine was studied. The HPLC-CMP is a simple method for separation and determination of D，L-T4 in drug or in human plasma. It can be used to therapeutic drug or adverse drug reactions monitor.
