Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(12):-
Objective To observe the effects of interleukin-1 ?(IL-1?) on spontaneous electrical activity of neurons in paravenrticular nuclei, and discuss the possible mechanism.MethodsExtracellular recording technique was employed to observe the effects of IL-1? on spontaneous electrical activity of neurons in paravenricular nuclei in rat hypothalamic slices, and the influence of losartan on the electrical activity induced by IL-1? was examined.ResultsAfter exposure to IL-1?(1?10-7 mol/L),the discharge frequency was significantly increased in 46 of the 59 discharge units(78%) of neurons(P

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the reason and protection measures of occupational exposure.METHODS From Jan 2005-Mar 2008,all medical personnel in our hospital were investigated by face to face investigation and checking recording data. The causes, modalities, management and prophylaxis of occupational exposure were analyzed.RESULTS Seventy-six person suffered occupational exposure, including 51 nurses(67.11%),18 doctors(23.68%) and the other 7 workers.Occupational exposure mainly occurred in 20-30 years old medical workers.61 persons(80.26%) suffered stab injury and sharp instrument injury. All 76 front medical personnel could make appropriate management after occupational exposure and without further infection.CONCLUSIONS Some first front medical personnel do not recognize the hazard of the occupational exposure. It′s necessary to enhance the management and training and to establish a corresponding standard to protect medical personnel from being harmed by occupational exposure.

Calponin is an actin filament-associated regulatory protein expressed in smooth muscle and many types ofnonmuscle cells.Three calponin isoforms 1,2,and 3 are encoded by three homologous genes CNN1,CNN2 and CNN3 in vertebrate species with cell type-specific expression and functions.Besides modulating the activity of smooth muscle myofilaments and contractility, calponin also regulates the functions of actin cytoskeleton in non-muscle cells during cell proliferation, adhesion, migration, differentiation, phagocytosis and fusion. This review focuses on the evolution, tissue and cell type-specific expression,structure-function relationships, transcriptional regulation and relevant mechanisms.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(07):-
Objective To explore the investigative studies of experimental value on the children suffered from a parotitis with pancreatitis. Methods 108 children patients were divided into 3 sub-groups:parotitis,parotitis with minigitis, parotitis with pancreatitis.45 cases were pantitis,24 were parotitis with pancreatitis and 39 were parotitis with minigititis. All the patients had serum amylase, serum lipase and abdominal B-ultrasound detected. All the results were statistically analyzed. Results The patients who had parotitis with pancreatitis were higher at abnonmal serum lipase and B-ultrasound(?~2=58.68,P

Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 1998;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the effect of variation of cesarean sections during labour and their indications on the total cesarean section rate. Methods A total of 458 cases of cesarean section was selected from January to June of 1990,1996,2002. They were divided as indication group and no indication group. The change of the indication and cesarean section rate was compared. Results The ratio of cesarean section during labour in total cesarean sections rised. The ratio was 22.0%, 20.8% and 39.4% in 1990, 1996 and 2002 respectively. The proportion of no indication surgery in 2002(63.37%) showed significant growth as compared with that of 1990 (33.84) and 1996 (32.58). Of all cases of cesarean section having indications, the rate of trial produce failure increased in 2002 (25.81%) while it was 11.45% and 16.67% in 1990 and 1996 respectively. The rate of fetal distress decreased from 25.19% (1990), 21.67% (1996) to 12.90% (2002). Conclusion Ascen ding of cesarean section rates during labour was an important factor that increased cesarean section rate in recent years. To decrease the total rates of cesarean section, many important measures should be done such as paying more attention to social factors, reinforcing propaganda and maternal health care , encouraging spontaneous vaginal delivery, emphasizing company during labour and analgesia or pain free delivery, laying stress on the management and monitoring during first stage of labour as well as psychological care.
