7.Retrospective Analysis of Literature on Compatible Stability of Drugs Indexed in CHKD in 2005
China Pharmacy 2007;0(31):-
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the overall situation about the study on compatible stability of drugs. METHODS: The compatible stability of drugs reported in a total of 113 articles in 2005 in 52 kinds of periodicals were retrieved from CHKD and summarized analytically. RESULTS: The drug categories involved were chiefly antibiotics (59%), Chinese traditional medicines or Chinese drug components (20%) and other drugs (21%). Quantitative analyses in 91 articles were chiefly conducted by ultraviolet spectrophotometry (79%) or HPLC (20%). CONCLUSION: Because the ultraviolet spectrophotometry was greatly used and some experimental designs were not well-knit enough, the reliability of experimental results of compatible stability of drugs might be seriously affected, which poses a great danger to the clinical compatible use of drugs.
8.The relationship between the latency-intensity function of click ABR wave V and the audiogram configuration.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(10):959-962
OBJECTIVE:
The latency-intensity function (LIF) of wave V from click ABR of some deaf children showed great variation. We attempted to find out the intrinsic reasons.
METHOD:
The children recieved tone-burst ABR test.
RESULT:
Frequencies from 0.5-4.0 kHz have been tested and the thresholds of tone-burst ABR were recorded. The average thresholds of steeply LIF children at 0.5-4.0 kHz were (93.13 ± 7.04), (79.37 ± 7.72), (69.38 ± 8.54) (66.25 ± 8.06) dB respectively, while the average thresholds of shallower LIF children at these 4 frequencies were (65.00 ± 7.32) (68.13 ± 6.55) (70.63 ± 6.80) (78.12 ± 8.34) dB respectively.
CONCLUSION
The results imply that the child with steeply LIF may have more hearing loss at frequencies 0.5 and 1 kHz than those with shallower LIF. LIF may predict the audiogram configuration.

10. Influence of breviscapine on memory and antioxidation ability in rats with Alzheimer's disease
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2012;47(5):347-350
OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of breviscapine on memory and antioxidation ability in A(342-induced Alzheimer's disease (AD) rat model. METHODS: AD rat model was established by intracerebroventricular injection of A (342. Besides, sham-operated mice served as control group. The learning and memory ability was determined by Morris water maze test. The activities of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the content of Malondialdehyde (MDA) in brain tissue were measured with spectrophotometer. RESULTS: Compared with control group, AD model significantly prolonged the latency of searching the hidden platform in directional swimming test, and decreased time spent in swimming in the target quadrant in probe test. Breviscapine dose-dependently shortened the latency of searching the hidden platform in directional swimming test, and increased the time spent swimming in the target quadrant in probe test. The activities of GSH-Px and SOD were decreased, and the MDA content was increased in AD model rats. In breviscapine treatment groups, the activities of GSH-Px and SOD heightened and MDA content decreased, and there was significant difference compared with AD model group. CONCLUSION: Breviscapine can dose-dependently ameliorate the impaired learning and memory function of AD model rats and improve antioxidation ability.
