Invasive fungal infections(IFI) is significantly increasing in the neonatal intensive care unit recent years.The characteristics of IFI are low diagnosis rate,high mortality and being prone to involve in the nervous system.In this paper,the epidemiology,pathogens,risk factors,diagnosis,treatment and prevention of neonatal IFI are reviewed to improve the understanding of this disease.
4.The chinical dependablities between type 2 diabetes and lung cancer

Objective To analyze the association between type 2 diabetes and lung cancer and study their clinical features.Methods 76 lung cancer patients admitted in Shengjing hospital from June 2006 to June 2008 and their neighbors(or their colleagues)were enrolled to conduct a 1∶1 matched case control study.Results 27.63% of lung cancer patients had type 2 diabetes.Adenocarcinoma was the most common type associated with type 2 diabetes,accounting for 47.62%.There was no statistical significance in ages and gender between cases and their matched control.The symptoms of type 2 diabetes with lung cancers were not typical.Conclusion Type 2 diabetes is significantly correlated with lung cancers.The incidence of type 2 diabetes in lung cancer patients is higher than that in subjects without lung cancers.Early diagnosis and strict blood glucose control are critical for good prognosis.
5.Exploitation and Application of Beijing Nosocomial Infection Surveillance and Management System

OBJECTIVE According to the development of nosocomial infection management in China,we design a series of nosocomial infection surveillance and management system,in order to work effectively in real time to control nosocomial infection outbreak,standardly collecting and analyzing the surveillance data of the critical department/area and risk factors for nosocomial infection,so a scientific management for nosocomial infection can be realized.METHODS Adopting C/S framework,the backstage supporter adopted the large-scale database of SQL SERVER 2000 edition,the front application program used PowerBuilder7 programming.The application software where collected all data about nosocomial infection information was integrated into the each work station of the information system,in order to form nosocomial infection surveillance and management network related to any department of the hospital.RESULTS System could come down with the hospital infection case which every hospital department could find to check,put in order,report,count,analyze,have a look around,inquire about,feedback,form the monitoring chart with excellent pictures and texts,and make the better prognosis of the nosocomial infection outbreak.CONCLUSIONS Beijing nosocomial infection surveillance and management system is a medical quality control system of a hospital.This software could afford scientific and standard data for the health care institution and administration to realize the primary information of nosocomial infection and make decisions.
6.Roles of periostin in cancer

Periostin, a extracellular matrix protein structurally similar to fasciclin proteins, is expressed specifically in various tumor tissues and correlates with tumor progression and prognosis. Periostin prevents the apoptosis of tumor cells, promotes tumor growth and can induce angiogenic signaling cascades through αvβ3-FAK and Flk-1/KDR. It also contributes to epithelial-mesenchymal-transformation promoting tumor invasion and metastasis. Periostin maybe a potential therapeutic target of cancer treatment.

8.Construction of medical research platform in prefecture-level city maternity and child healthcare hospital

Objective To improve the health of women and children,we built a medical research platform with maternal and child health characteristics and feature.Methods Since January 2011,we build the medical research platform of Huaian MCH through the following three aspects.①To firmly establish the thought of Science and technology to revitalizing the hospital and outstand technical innovation.② built a medical research platform with maternal and child health characteristics and feature.③To focus on construction of Research platform.Results After building research platform,the total number of published papers or high-level papers and the total number or level of the Research Projects and the New Technology Award are significantly higher.Many disciplines and specialist technical levels have been improved in our MCH.Neonatal Medical Center and Children's Health Center have upgraded to Provincial Maternal and Child Healthcare key disciplines.The department of women healthcare has upgraded to Provincial Maternal and Child Healthcare key disciplines construction unit.In 2012,our MCH got top 30 of comprehensive index ranking in operation and development of the National Maternal and Child Health agencies.Conclusion Building the medical research platform with the characteristics of maternal and child healthcare,can improve maternal and child healthcare service quality and level of clinical services,and promote the development of the hospital's overall strength,thereby increasing the ability of hospitals to protect the health of women and children.
10.Effect of Dihuang Yinzi on synaptophysin,extracellular regulated protein in hippocampus of aged rats
