Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2015;34(2):202-206
Objective To investigate the nutritional status and glycemic control level in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes in urban community of Yangpu district in Shanghai. Methods The 24-hour dietary recall method for 3 consecutive days was used to investigate the dietary nutrients intake in 400 patients with type 2 diabetes. Results The ratio of patients with blood glucose level less than 6.1mmol/L was 23.3% (93/400).The energy intake in patients with type 2 diabetes was low,and only reached 62.81% of the recommended standard of energy intake for adults. The energy ratio of three diet nutrients (protein, fat and carbohydrate) were 14.41%,33.93%,51.66% respectively, which showed that the energy ratio of fat was relatively high. The energy ratio of breakfast, lunch and supper dinner were 23.37%,38.05% and 38.57% respectively. The average intake of vitamin E,iron, niacin, manganese, phosphorus and cholesterol in elderly patients was more than the recommended standard of adult diet nutrients, and reached 149.6%,138.1%,137.1%,132.5%,127.5% and 122.0% of the recommended standard respectively. But the average intakes of protein, fat, carbohydrate, dietary fiber, calcium, zinc, copper, magnesium, potassium, vitamin A,vitamin B1,vitamin B2 and vitamin C in elderly patients were lower than the recommended standard, and reached 77.9%,90.3%,57.1%,50.7%,49.3%,81.4%,75.7%,75.7%,77.5%,77.0%,55.1%,58.1% and 67.6% of the recommended standard respectively. Conclusions The status of dietary nutrients intake in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes in Yangpu district of Shanghai is unreasonable, the intakes of dietary fiber, calcium, vitamin B1,vitamin B2 etc.were insufficient, and reasonable diet instruction should be provided for the elderly patients.
2.Application of golden section in development of digital resources based on the long tail theory
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2017;26(4):47-50,64
The use of golden section was proposed as a beneficial supplementary method in development of digital resources based on the long tail theory according to its advantages and disadvantages in development of digital resources in library.Literature download by retrieving subject headings and classification number showed that golden section could be used as a marking point and a supplementary boundary point in development of digital resources based on the long tail theory, thus improving the efficiency, economy and feasibility in development of digital resources with the limited fund.
3.The problems and countermeasures of functional laboratory teaching reform
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2011;10(4):451-453
With the development of funcgonal laboratory teaching, the advantages of integrating laboratory resources have been embodied in someway, improving the students'experiment level and their comprehensive analysis ability. But many new problems have also shown up such as unreasonable curriculum, construction of teaching staff.By reinstalling experiment courses, integrating the experiment teaching staff, and exploring the solution to the existing problems, the teaching quality of functional experiment can be promoted

Objective: To discuss the urgent need to improve the handling capacity of the outpatient information system in our hospital under the context that the patient registration is not available after the daily outpatient exceeding about 4,500 people times and that the outpatient demand is rapidly growing. Methods: To analyze all factors which constraint outpatient demands, develop relevant solutions, and update the outpatient information system in phases so as to ensure the normal medical work. Results:After the initial updating, the handling capacity of the system is up to from 4,500 to 13,000 people times, meeting the patient’s need; in the future, the complete updating will lead to a handling capacity to 19,000 people times. Conclusion: The comprehensive consideration shall be given to the building of the hospital information system, including the scalability of the system during its design.

Objective To evaluate the short-term effects of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT) associated with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) in the treatment of primary hepatic carcinoma and 3D-CRT associated with chemotherapy in the treatment of metastatic hepatic carcinoma. Methods In 52 patients with primary hepatic carcinoma, first of all a single TACE was conducted. Then after an interval of 2 weeks, the conformal radiotherapy was given, with a radiation dose of 2~3 Gy every fraction, once daily or once every other day and 3~5 fractions every week. The total radiation dose to the target was 42.2~60.0 Gy (mean, 52.2 Gy). Afterwards, 2 additional TACEs were given after the radiotherapy. In 35 patients with metastatic hepatic carcinoma, chemotherapy was carried out for 1 treatment course firstly. Then 3D-CRT was employed. After the radiotherapy, another 2 courses of consolidating chemotherapy were administrated. The patient continued with the chemotherapy for additional 3 treatment courses (a total of 6 courses) if efficacy evaluation showed the patient had responded to the chemotherapy. Results The response outcomes were: complete remission (CR) 23 0% (20/87), partial remission (PR) 39 1% (34/87), stable disease (SD) 34 5% (30/87) and progressive disease (PD) 3 4% (3/87), the response rate (RR) being 62 1% (54/87). Conclusions 3D-CRT with TACE for primary hepatic carcinoma and 3D-CRT with chemotherapy for metastatic hepatic carcinoma offers high local control rates and good short-term effects.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(04):-
Objective To explore the relationship between dietary factors and female breast cancer. Methods A 1∶1 matched case-control study was conducted in 175 cases with histopathological diagnosis and 175 matched controls(Apr.2004 to Jul.2005), a questionnaire about general information and dietary intakes over 10 years was used in the present investigation. Results The univariate conditional analysis showed that high intake times of fruits, vegetables and soybean food were the protective factors and the relationship between intake frequencies of fruits, vegetables and soybean food intake and breast cancer showed a dose-response manner. The multivariate analysis showed that psychological hurt was the risk factors, high vegetables and soybean food intake and more delivery times were the protective factors. Conclusion High intake times of vegetables and soybean food are the protective factors for female breast cancer.
