More than ten bacteriophage of E.coli were isolated from the soil and the dung of the fowl-run, then three of named bacteriophage A, C, D which lysis E.coli virulently were selected to investigate biological characterizations. The results showed that high activities were obtained after the phages incubated at 50℃ for 1 h or 60℃ for 30 min. The phages could be alive at the range of pH from 4 to 12, Ca 2+ or Mg 2+ added to the medium could stimulate the lysis of phages. However, the formation of the plaque could be inhibited obviously by adding sodium citrate to the medium.

Objective To construct the eukaryotic expression vector of pcDNA3.1(+)/NOR1 and analyze the effect of NOR1 on the liver cancer cells. Methods NOR1cDNA was cloned into eukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3.1(+), recombinant eukaryotic expressing plasmid pcDNA3.1(+)/NOR1 was transiently introduced into human liver cancer cell line HepG2 mediated by cation iron lipofectamin.The biology effect of NOR1 on the liver cancer cells was analyzed through the MTT test, trypan blue exclusion assay and flowcytometric analysis. Results The eukaryotic expression vector of pcDNA3.1(+)/NOR1 was successfully constructed.The liver cancer cell growth rate was obviously slow after it was transfected by recombinant plasmid pcDNA3.1(+)/NOR1 and the cell cycle from G0/G1 to S distinctly prolong.Conclusions Recombinant plasmid pcDNA3.1(+)/NOR1 can express in HepG2 cells and affect the growth of HepG2 cells.

Previous work from this laboratory has cloned a novel gene NOR1 and showed its extensive expression in normal tissues and down-regulation in carcinomas. To further investigate its downstream target genes and better understand its function, NOR1 was over-expressed in HepG2 hepatoma cells and global changes in gene expressions from a stable line were identified by cDNA microarrays. The results discovered 59 genes up-regulated in these cells compared with the original cells, including Grb2, HBP17,TNFRSF11B genes that have been implicated in tumorigenesis and cancer development. In addition, 103 down-regalated genes were also identified, including genes encoding Bik, MAP2K6 and ZFP95 proteins. The expression patterns of certain genes identified by microarrays were validated by quantitative real-time PCR and the results showed that expression difference were statistically significant (P< 0.05). These data suggest that NOR1 may influence the biology and cancerous behaviors of HepG2 cells by regulating expression of a set of genes involved in signal traasduction, cell cycle regulation, transcription and Wanslation controls.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a highly contagious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). More than one-third of patients with COVID-19 experience neurological symptoms, including confusion, headaches, and decreased/disordered taste. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a slowly progressive neurodegenerative disease and the most common type of dementia. Alzheimer's disease patients are at high risk and susceptible to infection with COVID-19, which may cause severe illness and even death. There appears to be an interaction between AD and COVID-19, and on the one hand, patients with COVID-19 seem to be more likely to develop AD. AD patients, on the other hand, may be more susceptible to severe COVID-19. Therefore, understanding the common link between COVID-19 and AD may help to develop treatment strategies. Risk factors common to AD and COVID-19 are aging, ApoE ε4 allele, β-amyloid (Aβ) deposition, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), neuroinflammation, oxidative stress. Here, this article focuses on the relationship between COVID-19 and AD, explores common risk factors and potential pathogenesis, and provides help for early prevention, treatment and recovery.

ObjectiveTo investigate the feasibility and importance of the application of simulation ward in medical practice between classes.MethodsTo divide the interns into two groups:the experimental group of 30 and the control group of 30. Both groups apply the simulation ward to practice between classes and both are assessed at the end of the practice.ResultsTo compare the final score of the experimental group and the control group,and significant differences are found in the following aspects:humanistic care,history taking,physical examination,medical record analysis,the theoretical knowledge examinations with the data of P ＜0.05.ConclusionThe application of simulation ward in medical practice between classes can improve the quality of clinical teaching.

Objective To study the expression of p53,p16,PCNA protein in esophageal carcinoma and its relationship to sexual distinction,the location of disease,the biological level,the depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis.Methods 118 patients with esophageal carcinoma were included in the study,all of them were treated for the first time.p53,p16 and PCNA protein in the 118 cases of esophageal carcinoma were detected by immunohistochemical assay(SP technique). Results The positive expression of p53, p16, PCNA protein in 118 patients was 80 %(92/118),42%(50/118)and 97%(115/118),respectively.The positive expression of p53,PCNA protein were irrelated to the sexual distinction,the location of disease,the biological level,the depth of invasion and the lymph node metastasis.The loss of p16 was significantly related to the depth of invasion and the lymph node metastasis(P
