6.Evaluation of Chinese cobra venoms in preventing the kidney from ischemia/reperfusion injury
Chinese Journal of Nephrology 2005;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the renal protection of Chinese cobra venoms (CCV) and its mechanism in renal ischemia/reperfusion (I/R). Methods Thirty-two rats were divided into four groups. 0.1% CCV was separately infused into abdominal cavity at 0.5 h, 24 h before reperfusion in group Ⅰ and Ⅱ . Group Ⅲ suffered from kidney I/R was served as pathological control. Group Ⅳ was sham operation group. BUN and Scr were measured before ischemia and 24 h after reperfusion. Complement C3 was observed at 0, 0.5, 2, 24 h after reperfusion. The kidney samples were examined by HE stain under light microscopy. Apoptosis was detected by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP-biotin in situ nick-end labeling(TUNEL). Results Significant histological damage, apoptosis of tubular cell and impaired renal function were found in group Ⅰ and Ⅲ.The above indexes decreased to a less extend in group Ⅱ (P

Objective:To investigate the validity and the outcome of a new surgery method that utilizes lateral great toe flap to decoratively reconstruct the thumb pulp loss. Methods:From Jan.2009 to Jan. 2014 , 22 cases with unilateral thumb pulp defect were included, for whom, lateral great toe flap was de-ployed to reconstruct the thumb.Blood circulation was re-established by the anastomosis of the digital vessels of toes and fingers in 18 cases, the other 4 cases were conducted by a dorsal metatarsal artery and vein anastomosed to the deep branch of the radial artery and the dorsal metacarpal vein respectively; as for the nerve repair, toe-to-finger digital nerve anastomosis was performed. The donor sites were covered by full-thickness inguinal skin grafts. Results:All the 22 flaps survived without complications. With 6 to 12 months follow-up, the surviving fingers all presented aesthetically pleasant appearance with vivid loops and whorls.Normal functions like sweating were restored as well, and the two-point-discrimination ranged 3.0 to 6.0 mm (4.2 mm in average). The skin grafts to the donor sites healed uneventfully, the appearance and functions of the feet were unaffected. Conclusion: Lateral toe flap should be the first-line choice for reconstructing thumb defect, as it conveniently restores both functions and outlook.

A reversed phase ultra performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometric method was developed for the separation and analysis of triglycerides in edible oils. The samples were separated by using three ultra performance C18 columns in series with a total length of 40 cm (10 cm + 15 cm + 15 cm) at high pressure with acetonitrile-isopropanol (50:50, V/V) as mobile phase at a flow rate of 0. 2 mL/min and at col-umn temperature of 25℃, and detected by APCI ionization-mass spectrometry. The edible oil sample was dis-solved in isopropanol and injected in LC-MS directly. The triglycerides in edible oils were distinguished to their better fine components which included corn oil, peanut oil, sunflower seed oil, rice oil, olive oil, sesa-me oil and soybean oil. The chromatograms of different edible oils showed that the same kind of edible oil was composed of similar triglyceride composition and content, while the different kind of edible oils differed. The experimental result showed that the method could be use for identifying 5% lard adulterated in soybean oil. The method suggests a significant research way for identifying adulteration in edible oil.

Objective:To optimize the conditions in the extraction process of Yushaoshang liposomal gels. Methods: Using the content of hydrobererine and extract yield as the indices, the optimum extraction conditions were screened by orthogonal test. Results:The optimum extraction conditions were as follows:Rhizoma coptidis was crashed into small particles as 10 mesh sieve, heating extrac-ted three times with 10-fold,8-fold and 8-fold water, and extracting 3h, 2h and 2h,respectively. Conclusion:The extraction technology is reliable and available in the preparation of Yushaoshang liposomal gels.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2014;(12):2047-2049
Objective To explore the effect and application value of percutaneous transhepatic various interventional technique for treatment of common bile duct stones. Methods 46 patients with common bile duct stones were treated. All patients were treated by percutaneous transhepatic cholangiopancreatography in order to confirm the number and location and size of the stones.Place me-chanical lithotripsy net according to the size of stones. Then percutaneous transhepatic balloon dilation.Postoperatively biliary tract was drained for 2 weeks. Results 45 operations were successful,The successful rate was 97.83%.Complete stone removal was obtained with one session in 41 patients and two sessions in 4 cases, respectively. There was no serious complications occurred during the operation. There was no perforation and bleeding, but hyperamylasemia occurred in 3 patients and acute pancreatitis occurred in 1 patient and bile perito-nitis occurred in 2 patients. Conclusion Percutaneous transhepatic various interventional technique can keep the function of papillary sphincter and is a valuable methed for patients suffering from common bile duct stones with a high successful rate and safety.
