Purpose To study the cytopathologic features of CT-guided percutaneous lung biopsy samples and to evaluate the role of cytopathology in the diagnosis and staging of lung carcinomas, as compared to histopathology. Methods Four-hundred twenty-five specimens were collected by CT-guided percutaneous lung biopsy which were also confirmed by histological diagnosis. Direct smears were performed for each case. Cytological and histological examination was carried out. Results The sensitivity, specificity, false positive rate, false negative rate and accuracy of cytopathology in diagnosing lung carcinomas by CT-guided percutaneous lung biopsy was 86. 6% (264/305), 100% (120/120), 0 (0/120), 13. 4% (41/305), 90. 4% (384/425), respectively. Overall 51. 1%(135/264) of the cases were precisely typed, including 77. 6% (83/107) of adenocarcinoma, 76. 9% (40/52) of squamous cell car-cinoma and 75. 0% (9/12) of small cell carcinoma. Conclusions Cytopathology of CT-guided percutaneous lung biopsy specimens is sensitive and accurate for diagnosing pulmonary carcinomas. In some cases, the lung carcinoma can be precisely typed. Therefore, it is useful for diagnosing and staging lung carcinomas.

Small RNA (miRNA) can regulate post-transcriptional level of mRNA. miRNA is closely related to the occurrence and development of a variety of human diseases such as gastric cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, etc. Many kinds of miRNAs in human cancers are significantly abnomadly expressed. miRNA can be regarded as a marker for many human cancers diagnosis.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2010;12(7):879-882
Objective To explore the characteristics and its influential factors of bone mineral density (BMD) changes in partial androgen deficiency in aging male patients. Methods 186 aging male patients with partial androgen deficiency and 125 healthy persons were selected, and their BMD in the first to fourth lumber spine and the proximal left femur was measured with the dual-energy X BMD measuring instrument. The biochemical and bone metabolic markers and sexual hormones were collected, and the relationship between changes of BMD in the patients with partial androgen deficiency, age, BMI, sexual hormones and bone metabolic markers were observed by multivariate stepwise regression analysis. Results There was no significant difference in BMD at the lumbar spine between two groups( P > 0.05 ), but BMD in PADAM group was lower than control groups at the hip[Neck: (0.831 ±0.136) g/cm2 vs (0.954 ±0.143) g/cm2,War's: (0.712 ± 0.127 ) g/cm2 vs ( 0.811 ± 0.149 ) g/cm2,Troch: ( 0.697 ± 0.124 ) g/cm2 vs ( 0.764 ±0.131 )g/cm2, P < 0.05 )].The incidence of PADAM and control group with osteopenia were 48.9% and 36%, and the osteoporosis was 33.3% and 20.8%, respectively. The bone mineral density was positively correlated to BMI at the first to fourth lumber spine and the proximal left femur in the patients with PADAM and negatively correlated to age and serum level of androgen. Conclusion BMD in PADAM group was significantly decreased, and age and low BMI and androgen deficiency wwere the risk factors of low BMD in PADAM patients.
8.A large-stale aero transportation of mass casualties away from 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake region to other provinces
Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2008;17(8):794-796
Objective To sum up the experience of a large-scale aero transportation of mass casualties away from the quake-hit region to distant cities, and to provide reference for medical transportation of mass casualties.Method The study analyzed the aero medical transportation of 3 482 casualties from quake-hit region treated in West China Hospital of Siehuan University and other seven hospitals in Sichuan Province to other provinces from 22 May 2008 to 3 June 2008.The influencing factors of aero medical transportation were discussed, including selection standard of patients, preparation of staff and mcterials before transportation, management during transportation. The selection standards were:patients with stable condition after orthopedic operation and craniocerebral operation, and patients with passage of gas by anus after abdominal operation 5 days. Results Total of 3 482 casualties were transported in 99 times to 19 cities including Guangzhou,Shanghai,Shenyang, only 8 victims felt a little bit uncomfortable during flight, and recovered soon after management. Conclusions Total of 3 482 patients were safely transported.Strict selection of patients, comprehensive planning and monitoring, and psychotherapy are important for aero medical transfer.

Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2014;(5):50-52,80
Objective To study the countermeasures for preventing medical disputes-induced group events by ana-lyzing the related papers. Methods Distributions of publication years, institutions of authors, and subjects in pa-pers on medical disputes-induced group events in 2006-2013 covered in Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform and CNKI were analyzed by bibliometrics. Results A total of 676 papers on medical disputes-induced group events were published in 2006-2013 .Their authors were mainly from medical educational institutions or medical and health institutions. The number of papers on medical tangles, relation between physicians and patients, legal con-struction, reasons for medical disputes was significantly larger than that of those on the third partymechanism and medical liability insurance .Conclusion Certain advances have been achieved in study on medical disputes-induced group events. However, there is a room for their improvement, further studies are thus needed.

Cardiotoxic effects of adriamycin were investigated in cultured heart cells. Three-day cultured myocardial cells were treated with the different doses of adriamycin (0.3mg/L, 1 mg/L, 3 mg/L) , and incubated in verieus times times ( 4 h, 8 h, 24h ) , and, then the content of lactate dehydrogenase ( LDH ) in media and malondialdehyde ( MDA ) in cells were measured. The results showed that the content of LDH in media increased with the time in culture. The content of LDH in media and MDA in cells increased markedly with the increase in adriamycin concentration. It suggested that the adriamycin has direct damage to myocardial cells, which is time-dependent and dose-dependent.
