Objective To observe the effect of CD44 antibody on the hyaluronic acid (HA)generation) were cultured in three different medium: without HA (group 1),0. 01 mg/ml HA (group 2),10 μg/ml HA and CD44 antibody (group 3). The cells in the group 2 and 3 were pre-cultured with HA and CD44 antibody, and the supernatant was collected. HA-substrate gel electrophoresis was performed for HA degradation, while ELISA-like method was performed for HA-binding protein. Results HA-substrate gel electrophoresis showed white light double-band on blue background in groups 1 and 3, thicker double-band or bright de-colored blocks in group 2. ELISA-like method showed that the absorbance (A) value of groups 1,2 and 3 were 0.310 ± 0.025, 0.093 ± 0.051, 0.025 ± 0.069 respectively. The A value of group 2 was obviously lower than that of group 1 (t=28.1, P＜0.01); the A value of group 3 was significantly higher than that of group 2 (t=26.9, P＜0.01), but was the same as group 1 (t=4.92, P＞0.05). Conclusion CD44 antibody can inhibit the interaction between Miller cells and HA, and thus reduce the HA degradation.

Objective To discuss the role of endometrial blood flow screening measured by color Doppler energy(CDE) in the prediction of outcomes in patients receiving in vitro fertilization and embryos transfer(IVF-ET).Methods A total of 182 women below the age of 38 years old undergoing IVF-ET in this center from November 2005 to December 2005 were recruited in this prospective study.The endometrial thickness,echo pattern,and blood flow status were detected by transvaginal ultrasonography on the day of hCG injection(8 hours before injection).The patients were divided into three groups: Group A,the endometrial blood flow could not be detected;Group B,only sub-endometrial blood flow could be detected;and Group C,both endometrial and sub-endometrial blood flow could be detected.All the patients were re-divided into three groups according to their outcomes of IVF-ET: Group 1,no pregnancy;Group 2,intrauterine pregnancy with live fetus and Group 3,other conditions(including biochemical pregnancy,embryonic diapause,ectopic pregnancy,and spontaneous abortion) were encountered.Results The clinical pregnancy rate with live fetus and the implantation rate were significantly higher in the Group C(62.2% and 65.6%) than in the Group A(0 and 0) and the Group B(17.1% and 20.7%),respectively(P

Objective To formulate countermeasures of improving nurses′knowledge of malignant hyperthermia by investigating theatre nurses. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate 120 theatre nurses for awareness, demand and access about malignant hyperthermia. Results Average correct response rate on the awareness of theatre nurses about malignant hyperthermia was (17.14±9.68)%.There are differences in different education, title and seniority(F=8.002,6.509,2.643,P<0.05).100.0%(120/120)theatre nurses are interested in studying knowledge related to malignant hyperthermia, 94.2%(113/120) theatre nurses are willing to learn knowledge related to malignant hyperthermia. Conclusions The awareness of theatre nurses about malignant hyperthermia is low. It is necessary to strengthen the training of theatre nurses about the knowledge of malignant hyperthermia. A variety of forms can be adopted.

Objective To select the optimum condition for the determination of formaldehyde in the car and to understand the formaldehyde pollution situation,dynamic change law and the influence factors.Methods The national standard method,acetyl acetone spectrophotometer,was used to determine formaldehyde.The investigated cars were the ones which left the factory for one month,three months,six months and one year.The sampling time,rate of flow and coloration time were determined.The influence of temperature and ventilation on the formaldehyde content in the car was analyzed.Results The formaldehyde content in the car was influenced by the temperature,ventilation,date of production and the type of the car.The optimum conditions for the determination of formaldehyde in the car were as follows,10 min of sampling time,0.3 L/min of sampling flow rate and 3 min of coloration time.Conclusion Ventilation is an effective measure to reduce the formaldehyde content in the car.Higher temperature is good for the release of formaldehyde.The formaldehyde content in the car will reach the standard limit in one year after left factory.

Objective To investigate gut barrier dysfunction and bacterial translocation (BT) from gastrointestinal tract in postoperative patients using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and plasma D-lactate measurement, and to study the relationship between BT and infections complications. Methods 34 patients undergoing selective gastrointestinal operations were observed. Blood samples were collected prior to and 2, 24, 48 h after surgery for bacterial culture, plasma D-lactate, and LPS measurement. PCR was used to detect microbial DNA. PCR was performed after DNA extraction, with target ?-lactosidase gene of E. coli and 16S rRNA gene of most pathogenic bacteria. All the patients were observed for 30 days for monitoring infectious complications. Results No bacterial DNA was detected before surgery, but it was positive in 7 patients (20.6%) after operation. Bacterial DNA was discovered in 38.9% (7/18) of SIRS (systemic inflammatory response syndrome) patients, no bacterial DNA was detected in the 16 non-SIRS patients (P

Objective To study the relationship of the university students' procrastination and big five personality factors.Methods 461 university students were assessed by the simple edition of tuckman procrastination scale(TPS) and the big five personality inventory short form(NEO-FFI).Results TPS score of the student was (48.51 ± 7.66).There were 89.4% students respectively had different level of procrastination behavior.There were no significant differences in university students by the gender(47.95 ±7.84 vs 48.95 ± 7.43 ) ,whether one-child students(48.64 ± 7.49 vs 48.45 ± 7.81 ) and grades.There were significant positive correlation between procrastination and the personality factor of neuroticism( r=0.235, P＜0.01 ) and significant negative correlation with extraversion ( r=-0.180, P ＜ 0.01 ) and conscientiousness ( r =-0.198, P ＜ 0.01 ).The big five personality factors of neuroticism,extraversion and conscientiousness could explain the 14.0% variation of procrastination of university students.Conclusion Procrastination is a very common phenomenon in the university students.The students with higher neuroticism, lower extraversion and conscientiousness of big five personality have more procrastination behavior.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of tranexamic acid in blood protection in liver transplantation.Methods We searched the Cochrane library,MEDLINE,CNKI,VIP,CBM (from inception to May 2017),to collect all the randomized controlled trials of tranexamic acid for liver transplantation.the quality of the included studies was evaluated,and meta-analyses were performed with Cochrane Collaboration's RevMan 5.3 software.Results 1) A total of 8 studies involving 1107 patients were included.the results of meta-analyses showed:Compared with placebo,tranexamic acid was effective in reducing postoperative blood loss [SMD =-1.95,95％ CI (-3.21,-0.69)],P＜0.05],there were statistical heterogeneity between the studies (I2=94％,P＜0.05),2)Tranexamic acid was effective in reducing postoperative transfusion rates of RBC during the operation [SMD=-0.43,95％ CI (-0.74,-0.11)],P＜0.05];however,less effective than the placebo in terms of reducing postoperative FFP and PLT transfusion.Compared with placebo and other antifibrinolitic drugs the bleeding,renal insufficiency,thrombosis,infection,death and the incidence of other adverse events were not increased in tranexamic acid group after surgery.Conclusion Tranexamic acid was a safe and effective antifibrinolitic drug in liver transplantation,for it can reduce the amount of bleeding and red blood cell transfusion,However,due to the limited quality of the included studies,further verification with more high quality trials was needed.
