A strain of yeast capable of hydrolyzing ethyl ester of racemic Ketoprofen with high enantioselectivity has been isolated from soil after two-step enrichment. The yeast was identified as Trichosporon brassicae. The process of growth and enzyme production was investigated. The catalytic performance of the resting cell of KET4 in kinetic resolution of Ketoprofen was also investigated. When the conversion of substrate reached 41% , enantiomeric excess of the (S) - Ketoprofen produced was 91 % , indicating a high enantiomeric ratio of 45.

This study was purposed to explore the significance of tissue factor (TF), tissue factor pathway inhibitor (IFPI) and interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta) in the evaluation of development, curative effect and prognosis of AL patients. ELISA was used to detect the levels of TF, TFPI and IL-1beta in plasma of 20 healthy individuals and 24 newly diagnosed AL patients. All the three indications of patients were measured in different stages including pre-chemotherapy phase, at 72 hours after chemotherapy, complete remission phase. The results showed that as compared with normal control, levels of TF, TFPI and IL-1beta in plasma of AL patients during pre-chemotherapy phase were higher (p < 0.01); as compared with pre-chemotherapy phase, levels of TF, IL-1beta were elevated at 72 hours after -chemotherapy (p < 0.05). However, the levels of TFPI was much lower than that of 72 hours after chemotherapy (p < 0.01). 16 out of 24 patients got complete remission, there was no difference of TF, TFPI and IL-1beta between complete remission group and normal control group. It is concluded that the levels of TF, TFPI and IL-1beta in plasma can be used as the indicators for understanding clinical features, evaluating disease status and predicting prognosis in acute leukemia patients.

Objective To discuss the value and experience of the percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP)in the treatment of vertebral body compression fracture(VCF)in aged osteoperosis.Methods PVP was performed in 44 cases with VCF including 28 with single vertebral compressed fracture,12 with double compressed fracture and four with triple compressed fracture,with 67 vertebrae,for clinical and radiologieal evaluation.Results The mean follow-up was 15 months(4-23 months).There could be seen immediate relief of pain in 40 cases,out-of-bed activities at operation day in 19 and out-of-bed activ- ities at second day after operation in 25.Postoperative X-ray showed uniformly distributed bone cement in the vertebral,without leakage.Conclusion PVP is a recommendable method for VCF,for it has ad- vantages of pain relief,vertebrae stabilization,minimal invasion and minor complications.

Objective - - To prepare the GDH 5 air sampling tube for simultaneous collection of eight kinds of chloro nitrobenzene （ ） ， compounds CNBs in the air of workplace and establish a matching determination method using gas chromatography. Methods - - ， Eight kinds of CNBs in vapor and aerosol state were collected by self developed GDH 5 air sampling tube desorbed ， ， ， by toluene separated by polysiloxane gas chromatography column detected by microcell electron capture detector and Results - （ - quantified by external standard method. It was determined that the air sampling tube was assembled by XAD 2 ion ） - ， exchange resin and glass fiber filter membrane. The linear range of CNBs was 0.80 240.00 mg/L and the linear correlation - - coefficients were greater than 0.999 9. The detection limit was 7.87 13.03 μg/L. The minimum detectable concentration was 0.60 3， - 3（ ） 1.33 μg/m and the minimum quantitative concentration was 2.00 4.22 μg/m sample 45.00 L . The average desorption - - （RSD） - ， - RSD efficiency was 101.2% 110.0%. The within run relative standard deviation was 0.8% 4.1% and the between run - Conclusion - was 0.3% 5.8%. The samples could be stored for more than 30 days at room temperature. GDH 5 air sampling tube and its associated determination method can be used for the collection and determination of eight kinds of CNBs in workplace air.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effects and mechanism of mesangial cell (MC) on proliferation and function of osteoblast in vitro from growth factors.

METHODSOsteoblast cultured in vitro were divided into normal blood serum group and MC group and cultured supernatant fluid by 10% serum culture medium and 20% MC culture medium. MTF was used to checked the proliferation of osteoblast at the end of 24, 48, 72, 120 h; Expression of BGP and OPN were tested 72 h and 144 h after culture; Expression of IGF-alpha and TGF-beta were tested 144 h after culture.

RESULTSThe proliferation of osteoblast in MC group was obviously higher than normal blood serum group in different times (P < 0.05); The level of BGP and OPN of osteoblast was obviously higher than normal blood serum group (11.3%, 16.4%, 55.0% and 39.6%); and the level of IGF-alpha and TGF-beta of osteoblast was obviously higher than normal blood serum group (10.1% and 47.7%).

CONCLUSIONMC can directly act on osteoblast, promote the proliferation and function of osteoblast by promoting secretion of TGF-beta.

OBJECTIVE: To observed the prevention efficacy of secretory otitis media after radiation therapy by the Myrtol Standardized Enteric Coated Soft Capsules. METHOD: Sixty patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma who Diagnosis without secretory otitis media before radiation therapy were divided into experimental group and control group, 30 cases in each group. After the start of radiation therapy ,the experimental group patients oral the Myrtol Standardized Enteric Coated Soft Capsules, each 0.3 g, 3 times a day, 7 days a course of treatment, oral the medication three months, the patients in the control group received no treatment. 3 months and 6 months after the end of radiation therapy, whether there is a difference comparison of experimental group and the control group in symptoms, signs, pure tone audiometry and tympanogram change. RESULT: Seventeen patients (18 ears) (56.67%, 17/30) in the control group were suffering from secretory otitis media, 7 patients (7 ears) (23.33%, 7/30) in the experimental group were suffering from secretory otitis media. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.01). 17 patients (17 ears) in the control group and 7 patients (7 ears) in the experimental group were suffering from tinnitus. 20 patients(20 ears) in the control group and 9 patients (10 ears) in the experimental group have ear choking feeling. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.01). The air conduction hearing threshold of the experimental group before radiation therapy is (7.5 +/- 2.0) dB HL and the air conduction hearing threshold of the control group patients is (8.3 +/- 4.0) dB HL. The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). 3 months after radiation therapy,the gas conductive hearing threshold of the experimental group is (25.6 +/- 3.0) dB HL, but the data in the control group is (40.7 +/- 5.0) dB HL. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION Patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma oral the the Myrtol Standardized Enteric Coated Soft Capsules before radiation therapy can effectively reduce the incidence of secretory otitis media after radiotherapy, it can prevent the occurrence of secretory otitis media.

Objective To investigate the expression of interleukin-17 (IL-17) in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) of patients with multiple myeloma and analyse it's clinical significance.Methods Thirty patients with multiple myeloma in the Department of Hematopathy,the Third Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University from January 2016 to January 2017 were selected as observation group;and thirty healthy donors whose gender and age machted with patients in the observation group were selected as control group.Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were obtained from subjects in observation group and control group by using the method of density gradient centrifugation.The content of IL-17 in supernatant of PBMC culture solution of subjects in the two groups was detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and the expression of IL-17 mRNA in PBMC was detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction;the cellular morphology of PBMC of subjects in control group was observed by scanning electron microscope after co-culturing with the serum of patients in observation group.Results The content of IL-17 in supernatant of PBMC culture solution of subjects in the observation group and control group was (30.79 ± 4.96),(10.10 ± 4.15) ng · L-1 respectively;the content of IL-17 in supernatant of PBMC culture solution of subjects in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (t =3.412,P ＜ 0.05).The expression of IL-17 mRNA in PBMC in the observation group and control group was 4.28 ± 1.34 and 2.45 ±0.95 respectively;the expression of IL-17 mRNA in PBMC in the observation was significantly higher than that in the control group (t =2.796,P ＜0.05).After co-culturing of PBMC of subjects in the control group with the serum of patients in the observation group,the morphology of PBMC changed obviously,and membrane desquamate,membrane disintegration,even membranolysis were observed in some cells with the prolongation of co-culture time.Conclusion The over-expression of IL-17 in PBMC of patients with multiple myeloma may play a certain role in the occurrence and development of this disease.

OBJECTIVETo explore the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and its receptors (flt-1 and flk-1) in the retina of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), and its relation to the alteration of retinal blood vessels.

METHODSEighty-six newborn Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into hyperoxia and air groups, then each group was further divided into 1, 3, 7 and 14 days subgroups. The rats in hyperoxia group inhaled 75% oxygen and ROP model was thus set up. These animals were sacrificed respectively after 1, 3, 7 and 14 days, then the retinal endothelial cells were marked by CD34 to observe the change of retinal blood vessels. The expression of VEGF, flt-1 and flk-1 in the retina was measured by immunohistochemistry.

RESULTSThe retinal capillary density index (RCDI) in control group increased as days went on (F = 21.589, P < 0.01, but it was the least on the 7th day in hyperoxia group, after the rats had been returned to air for 7 days, RCDI increased significantly (F = 67.885, P < 0.01); In the control group, the expression of VEGF and flk-1 was the strongest in the retina on the 7th day, the result had significant difference as compared with the 1st and 14th day (P < 0.05). The expression of VEGF and flk-1 on the 7th day in hyperoxia group was weaker than that of control group (P < 0.05). But on the 14th day in hyperoxia group, they were stronger than that of control (P < 0.05). The localization of the expression of flt-1 was changed when blood vessels altered, but there was no significant difference in expression intensity as a whole (P > 0.05).

CONCLUSIONWhen the premature retina was exposed to hyperoxia, the expression of VEGF and flk-1 was reduced, and retinal blood vessels were also decreased; but the expression of VEGF and flk-1 was stronger in retina when premature rats were exposed to relative hypoxia, and the retinal blood vessels also increased significantly. It is concluded that VEGF and flk-1 may play important roles in the development of retinal blood vessels and its change in ROP. However, flt-1 has less effect compared with flk-1.
