Korean Journal of Urology 1981;22(5):438-440
Aneurysm was the first disease of the renal artery to be recognized by Rouppe on 1770, and until selective renal angiography came into vogue, it was considered a rare occurrence. We had experienced 2 cases of renal artery aneurysm that one case was found intraoperatively by chance and the other was confirmed with selective renal angiography. We report 2 cases with review of the literature.

8.Spiral CT scanner angiography in diagnosis of the renal arterial stenosid in the Hue Central Hospital
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;232(1):38-41
During 4/1998 -4/1999, the HuÕ Central Hospital implemented the spiral CT scanner for 8 cases with ages of 17 - 79 to diagnosed the renal arterial stenosid after implementing the ultrasound Doppler and angiography of the renal artery. The result have shown that the spiral CT scanner is able to discover the spited artery with the very thin wall and observe the false arterial lumen and virtual arterial lumen. The cross-sectional reconstruction can identify obviously the border of the arterial lumen, position of stenosid, artherosclerosis plaque, thrombosis that helped the diagnosis and treatment.

9.Role of color ultrasound in finding the renal arterial stenosid
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;232(1):54-57
9 patients received the angiography found 10 renal arterial stenosid or obstruction among 100 patients during 1/1995 - 3/1998. The results showed that the level of the arterial stenosid by ultrasound was quite suitable with this by the angiography. All patients received an operation for connecting the renal artery or thrombosis removal were postoperative examined by the color ultrasound Doppler and long-term monitored.

10.Diagnosis of renal arterial stenosis by ultrasound Doppler
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;232(1):62-65
Nowadays, diagnosis of renal artery stenosis by renal angiography is gradually supplied by techniques of noninterference, include: Colour Doppler ultrasound, CT angiography in helical with MIP, magnetic resonance angiography. In the all, the colour Doppler ultrasound is the best method for diagnosis of renal artery atenosis in the near future
