Objective To study the distribution of genotypes of Candida albicans isolated from different body sites of patients with candidal vulvovaginitis(CVV).Methods PCR was designed to amplify group I intron-containing region in25S rDNA of Candida albicans. The strains of Candida albicans could be classified into three genotypes:genotype A(~450bp),B(~840bp)and C(~450bp and~840bp),on the basis of different ranges of bands of amplicons. Results Sixty women with CVV were recruited,of whom54were caused by Candida albicans.Among the54patients39had non-recurrent CVV and15had recurrent CVV(RCVV).Candida albicans could be isolated simultaneously from different body sites in32of54patients,including19(19/39)with non-RCVV and13(13/15)with RCVV.A total of92strains of Candida albicans were isolated from vagina, tongue and anus in54patients with CVV.Eighty strains of genotype A,8of genotype B and4of genotype C were found. The same genotypes of Candida albicans in different body sites were identified in24patients,and the different genotypes were identified in8patients.Conclusion Genotype A is predominant in CVV.The other two genotypes(B and C)are not commonly seen, and mainly isolated from non-vaginal sites. The colonization of Candida albicans in the non-vagina sites is more frequent in RCVV than that in CVV,and the intestinal reservoir theory may play a role in the relapse of RCVV.

Objective To explore the effects of early intervention on brain injury in premature infants with neonate respiratory failure (NRF). Methods 151 premature infants in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) who were diagnosed as NRF within 24 hours after birth in our hospital were studied. All of them accepted endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation, and were complicated with brain injury. According to their admission date and their parents' desire, these premature infants were divided into routine group (n=71) and intervention group (n=80). Both 2 groups received similar routine care, and the intervention group accepted touching, passive exercise and stimulation of hearing, vision and touch in addition. Active motor training and family intervention were also given to the intervention group after dis-charge. They were assessed with Neonatal Behavioral Neurological Assessment (NBNA) at the corrected age of 40 weeks, Infant Neurologi-cal International Battery (Infanib) at the corrected age of 3 and 6 months, mental development index (MDI) and psychomotor development index (PDI) at the corrected age of 6, 12 and 18 months, Gesell Development Schedules at the corrected age of 18 months. Results There was no significant difference in NBNA score between 2 groups at 40 weeks of gestational age (P>0.05). The percentage of normal ones with Infanib was higher in the intervention group than in the routine group at the age of 3 and 6 months (P<0.05). The MDI and PDI were signifi-cantly higher in the intervention group than in the routine group at the age of 6, 12 and 18 months (P<0.001). The scores of gross motor, fine motor, adaptation, language and social skills were significantly higher in the intervention group than in the routine group at the age of 18 months (P<0.001). The incidence of sequelae was lower in the intervention group (12.5%) than in the routine group (25.4%) (P<0.05). Con-clusion Early intervention can promote the intelligence and motor development, and improve the outcome of brain injury in the premature infants with NRF.

Objective To evaluate the preoperative nutritional status of the patients which were preparing for cardiac valves replacement using nutrition risk screening 2002 (NRS2002),and analyze the evaluation effect and bring forward the corresponding nursing interventions. Methods 226 patients who would carry out cardiac valves replacement in the context of extracorporeal circulation were evaluated by NRS2002 preoperatively.88 patients had nutrition risk. Those elective 88 patients were randomly assigned into the experimental group and the control group, each had 44 cases. Then different nursing measures were implemented in each group and the clinical outcome was contrasted in the two groups. Results In the patients who were preparing for cardiac valves replacement,88 cases had preoperative nutrition risk score ≥3 points and 138 cases < 3 points.Preoperative nutrition risk score had positive correlation with heart function grade.Difference of the experimental group and the control group in length of stay, length of mechanical ventilation after surgery and incidence rate of general complications had statistical significance. Conclusions It is effective to analyze the preoperative nutritional status of the patients with cardiac valves replacement by NRS2002.It may improve prognosis effectively by providing preoperative nursing interventions for patients with nutrition risk.Besides,it provides theoretical basis for further studying the relation between nutrition support and clinical outcome of patients with nutrition risk.

Objective To evaluate the right ventricular global and regional strain and strain rate in patients with metabolic syndrome(MS) by two‐dimensional speckle tracking imaging(2D‐STI) ,and explore the correlation between different MS criteria and global strain and strain rate of right ventricle . Methods Forty‐four MS subjects ,35 pre‐MS subjects and 40 healthy subjects were enrolled . The basal ,middle and apical systolic longitudinal peak strain( Ss) and strain rate( SRs) ,early diastolic and late diastolic peak strain rate(SRe ,SRa) of right ventricular free wall were measured using 2D‐STI and global strain and strain rate ( GSs ,GSRs ) ,early diastolic and late diastolic peak strain rate ( GSRe ,GSRa ) of right ventricle were calculated . The correlation between different MS criteria and GS ,GSR of right ventricle were analyzed . Results Compared with control group ,Ss ,SRs ,SRe and SRa in basal and middle segments in MS group and Ss ,SRs in basal segment in Pre‐MS group decreased( all P < 0 .05) . Ss and SRs in basal segment in MS group were significantly lower than those in Pre‐MS group(all P <0 .05) . Compared with control group , GSs ,GSRs ,GSRe and GSRa in MS group and GSs ,GSRs in Pre‐MS group decreased ( all P <0 .05) . GS and GRS in MS group and Pre‐MS group had no statistical significance( all P > 0 .05) . There were good correlation of waist circumference(WC) ,systolic blood pressure(SBP) ,fasting blood‐glucose with GSs( r =-0 .73 ,-0 .69 ,-0 .46 , P < 0 .01) and GSRs( r = -0 .63 ,-0 .78 ,-0 .48 , P < 0 .01) . The multiple regression analysis of MS criteria showed that waist circumference and systolic blood pressure were independently associated with GSs and GSRs of right ventricle(β= -0 .44 ,-0 .77 , P <0 .01) . Conclusions 2D‐STI could accurately assess right ventricular global and regional function in MS patients .Among all MS risk factors ,waist circumference and systolic blood pressure are the most responsible for right ventricular function .
