Transient ischemic attack (TIA) is the most important early warning signal of cerebral infarction, and it is also the critical period for the prevention of cerebral infarction. If we effectively control the risk factors of TIA, the onset and the progress of TIA can be prevented and controlled, This article reviews the correlation between the risk factors of TIA and prognosis.

Objective To evaluate the agreement between contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging and histopathology in rabbit model of abdominal aortic atherosclerosis (AS)in early and development period.Methods Twenty-four healthy Japanese white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups:control group,hypercholesterolemic diet group for 8 weeks and 16 weeks (each for 8 rabbits).Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography for abdominal aorta was performed using sonicated perfluorocarbon albumin contrast agent.Imaging characteristics of abdominal aorta plaque of rabbits were monitored by two-dimensional mode,ultrasound visual grades were analyzed quantitatively before and after injection of contrast agent.Histopathologic changes were observed by HE staining.Results Contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging allowed early detection of AS and showed gradual progression of atherosclerosis over time.After contrast agent injected,intimal indentification and plaques checking-out ratio were improved.The ultrasound visual grades were increased after contrast imaging in hypercholesterolemic diet group for 8 weeks [(2.26± 0.27)vs.(1.79 ±0.25)] and 16 weeks [(3.54 ±0.43) vs.(3.20 ±0.25)] (all P＜0.05).The plaque detection rate was improved after contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging than before angiography in hypercholesterolemic diet group for 8 weeks [77.8％ (7/9) vs.55.6％ (5/9)] and 16 weeks [88.2％ (15/17) vs.70.6％ (12/17)](P ＞ 0.05).The imaging of ultrasound agreed well with pathological examination results.Conclusions Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography can effectively improve intimal and plaque imaging,and increase the detection accuracy of early and progressive pathology.

Functional dyspepsia is a common disease in clinical service.Its etiology and pathogenesis are related to a variety of factors,and among them,gastric motility and gastrointestinal motility dysfunction are major causes.At present,diagnosis of functional dyspepsia depends maindy on the complaint of patients and no gastric motility detection method or means are effective enough to complete the diagnosis objectively.The electrical bioimpedance technique extracts information of gastric electrical activity and mechanical movement base on the recngnition of electricity-mechanism compound system and studies complicated procedure of gastric electrical activity,mechanical contraction and gastric peristalsis.The electrical bio-impedance technique has shown a promising clinical application and development prospects.

Objective: To study the role of occupational stress in CHD (coronary heart disease) Methods: 39 male attendants on train with CHD were identified through Rose questionnaie and were confirmed after one year Two control groups were collected according to the rate of 1:2 and matched by sex, age, job, year of working separately in railway system (n=78) and hotel service (n=78) All subjects completed OSI (occupational stress indicator) Logistic regression model was used to analyze the data Results: Exceptfor non-occupational stress, the relative risk of train attendant working was estimated as OR=2 18 with 95% confidence interval of 1 15～4 15, and the risk for CHD as a train attendant had dose-effect relation to occupational stress Compared with controls of railway system without CHD, the relative risk of stress was still significant (OR=4 43, 95% CI: 1 60～12 25) But the relative risk (OR=9 75, 95%CI:3 18～29 92) was much higher when comparing with controls of hotel service Conclusion: Occupational stress is one of the important risk factors for CHD in male attendants on train

Objective To investigate the value of the flow cytometry(FCM)for detecting platelet associated antibody in the di-agnosis of immune thrombocytopenia(ITP).Methods Platelet associated antibody,expression rate and the fluorescence intensity of platelet-associated immunoglobulin(PAIg)were measured in 51 patients with ITP(23 cases of newly diagnosed ITP and 28 cases of persistent ITP),21 patients with non-ITP and 60 healthy individuals.The correlation between the detection results with the platelet and megakaryocyte counts was performed;the expression rates of PAIg before and after treatment were compared.Results The fluorescence positive percentage and mean fluorescence intensity of IgG,Ig A and IgM in the patients group were significantly high-er than those in the control group with statistical difference(P <0.01).Compared with the non-ITP group,the difference had statis-tical significance(P <0.05).Compared with the autoimmune disease group,the difference had no statistical significance(P >0.05);the difference between the autoimmune disease group and the healthy control group had statistical significance(P <0.01 );in the persistent ITP group,PAIg in the complete response group had statistical difference between the groups before treament.PAIg in the response group also had statistical difference between the groups before treament (P <0.05).Conclusion FCM for detecting PAIg can be used in the diagnosis,differential diagnosis and the disease condition monitoring of ITP.

Objective To investigate clinical efficacy and safety of misoprostol for termination with full-term pregnancy.Methods The number who had terminations with full-term pregnancy in our hospital obstetrics from July 2013 to March 2014 were 78, divided them into the experimental and control groups.Experimental group used misoprostol for induction of labor, the control group used oxytocin for induction of labor.Indicators were observed and compared between two groups of pregnant women, induction of labor effect indicators: the success rate of induction of labor, postpartum hemorrhage in 2h, the time of labor and the time of fetal delivery, cesarean section rate; induction of labor safety indicators: maternal complications and side effects, the physiological condition of the newborns and Apgar score.Results Basic information was no significant different between the two groups of pregnant women.induction of labor of experimental group success rate was 97.44%, which was 82.05% in the control group, success rate in experimental group was higher than the control group, with statistically significant results (P<0.05), postpartum hemorrhage in 2h, labor time, fetal delivery time, cesarean section in experimental groups were less than which in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Experimental group of pregnant women postpartum complications and side effects were mainly in the gastrointestinal adverse reactions, uterine contractions too strong but compared with the control group showed no significant difference.Two newborn babies 1 minute (9.4 ±1.3 vs.9.2 ±1.5) and 5 minute (9.9 ±1.2 vs.9.5 ±1.3) Apgar score were not significantly different (P>0.05), the experimental group had one case of mild neonatal asphyxia, there are two cases in the control group and one case of mild asphyxia neonatal asphyxia.Conclusion Effect of misoprostol which is used to terminate the pregnancy term is significant, and has high security, has high clinical value.

Objective To investigate the changes of ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase-L1 (UCH-L1) and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP)in acute phase of cerebral infarction. Methods From March 2011 to June 2012,95 patients with early cerebral infarction from the Neurology Clinic,the Emergency Department and the Cerebral Apoplexy Screening Project Base,and the Neurology Ward of Renhe Hospital were used as an infarction group;61 non-stroke subjects received physical examination in the Physical Examination Center of our hospital in the same period were used as a control group. The cerebral infarction group and the patients with cerebral infarction in different onset of time groups (an onset < 12 h group and an onset 12-24 h group),the different National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)score groups (NIHSS 0 -4 group and NIHSS 5 -19 group),and the levels of UCH-L1 and GFAP in the control group were measured and compared among the groups. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC)curve was established. The cut-off values of the relevant parameters in the diagnosis of cerebral infarction,and the sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis were obtained. Results The UCH-L1 and GFAP values of the cerebral infarction group were all higher than those of the normal control group (0. 13[0. 09,0. 21]μg/ L vs. 0. 05[0. 02,0. 13]μg/ L,0. 030[0. 008,0. 130]μg/ L vs. 0. 004[0. 004,0. 020]μg/ L,Z values were 3. 62 and 4. 95 respectively;all P < 0. 01). The UCH-L1 and GFAP values of the NIHSS score 5 -19 group were higher than those of the NIHSS score 0 -4 group (0. 12[0. 08,0. 21]vs. 0. 09[0. 08,0. 18],0. 07 [0. 01,0. 11]vs. 0. 04[0. 01,0. 10];all P < 0. 05). There was no significant difference in the UCH-L1 and GFAP values between the onset 12 -24 h group and the onset < 12 h group (0. 12[0. 08,0. 21]μg/ L vs. 0. 09[0. 08,0. 18]μg/ L,0. 030[0. 010,0. 110]μg/ L vs. 0. 040[0. 008,0. 100]μg/ L;all P > 0. 05). The analysis results of ROC curve of UCH-L1 and GFAP for diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction showed that when the plasma UCH-L1 was ≥0. 18 μg/ L,the sensitivity and specificity of UCH-L1 were 68% and 74%respectively;When the plasma GFAP was ≥0. 11 μg/ L,the sensitivity and specificity of GFAP were 70% and 86% respectively. The area under the ROC curve of UCH-L1 and GFAP diagnosis of cerebral infarction were 0. 64 and 0. 71 respectively. Conclusions UCH-L1 and GFAP have obvious change in acute phase of cerebral infarction. UCH-L1 and GFAP may have certain correlation with the severity of stroke.

Objective: To express Tumstatin183-230-TRAIL fusion protein and to observe its biological functions. Methods: SOE-ing PCR was employed to amplify the recombinant sequence of Tumstatin183-230 and TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL114-281). An expression vector pMAL-Tu-T was constructed by inserting Tu-T sequence into pMAL-c2; the vector was used to transfect E. coli BL21 (DE3) and expression of MBP-Tu-T fusion protein was induced by IPTG. Amylose Resin columns were employed to purify the fusion protein. The biological functions of MBP-Tu-T protein was examined by inhibitory test of endothelial cell proliferation, standard tumor cell cytotoxic assay, in vitro tube formation inhibition, and electron microscopic observation (apoptosis). Results: The expression rate of MBP-Tu-T fusion protein in E. coli was about 20%. Purified recombinant protein obviously inhibited endothelial cell proliferation (IC50 12.5 μg/ml), induced apoptosis of pancreatic cancer cells, and inhibited tube formation. Conclusion: Constructed MBP-Tu-T fusion protein is bifunctional, which lays a solid foundation for further investigation of antitumor effect of Tumstatin183-230-TRAIL in vivo.
