OBJECTIVETo clarify the related factors of marginal bone loss (MBL) around tissue level implants in the posterior part of the mandible.
METHODSA total of 116 tissue level implants were implanted in the mandibular posterior region of 76 patients. Patients' information, including general characteristics, implant characteristics, implant site characteristics, and prosthesis characteristics, was recorded. Their cone beam computed tomography data were measured immediately after implant placement, 3 months later, and 3 and 12 months after prosthesis loading. The measurement of MBL was conducted by One Volume Viewer software. SPSS 20.0 was used for statistic analysis.
RESULTSSmoking, cortical bone thickness (CBT), collum angle (CA), and implant local sanitation showed significant differences with body mass loss (P<0.05). No significant differences were found among sex, age, length of implant, diameter of implants, implant systems, bone height, prosthesis type, and MBL (P>0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe risk factors that caused MBL were smoking, thicker CBT, larger CA, and poor implant local sanitation. Among them, poor implant local sanitation had the highest correlation with MBL.

Objective To observe the influence of Huiyang Shengji Ointment and its modified formulae on interleukin-1 (IL-1α) and thromboxane B2 (TXB2) in diabetic rats with chronic skin ulcers, and explore the mechanism for promoting the healing of ulcer. Methods Six out of 160 rats were randomly selected as a blank group, without any further processing. The remaining rats were made diabetic model and randomly divided into five groups after 2 weeks:1 d, 3 d, 5 d, 7 d and 14 d groups. Then, these groups were further divided into normal group (Vaseline ointments), model group (Vaseline ointments), Huiyang Shengji Ointment group (whole formula Ointment), Wenyang Yiqi group (Yiqi group, modified Wenyang Yiqi formula ointments) and Huoxue Shengji group (Huoxue group, modified Huoxue Shengji formula ointments). Normal group and model group were given Vaseline ointments;whole formula group, Yiqi group and Huoxue group were given corresponding ointment. Normal group used the method of skin excision, while other groups used STZ injection-hydrocortisone interference-skin excision-foreign body embedded preparation of composite factors for chronic skin ulcer model. After the appropriate treatment period, the rats were executed and tested for the contents of IL-1α and TXB2 in serum by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay of five time points. Results In treatment 3 d, the contents of IL-1α in Yiqi group were significantly higher than the blank group, model group, whole formula group and Huoxue group (P<0.05). In treatment 5 d, the contents of IL-1α in whole formula group were significantly higher than the blank group and model group (P<0.05). In treatment 7 d, the contents of IL-1α in each treatment group were significantly higher than blank group and model group (P<0.05), and the whole formula group was higher than the Yiqi group and Huoxue group. In treatment 14 d, the contents of IL-1α in model group and Huoxue group were lower than the blank group (P<0.05). In treatment 3 d, the contents of TXB2 in normal group and the whole formula group were higher than the blank group (P<0.05). In treatment 5 d, the contents of TXB2 in whole formula group were higher than the blank group and the normal group (P<0.05). In treatment 7 d, the contents of TXB2 in Yiqi group were higher than the blank, the model, the whole formula and Huoxue groups (P<0.05). In treatment 14 d, the contents of TXB2 in Huoxue group were higher than the blank and model group (P<0.05), and the contents of TXB2 in the blank group and normal group was lower than those treatment groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Huiyang Shengji Ointment and its modified formulae could promote inflammation, stimulate secretion of inflammatory cytokines, while Yiqi Wenyang ointments played a more active role in promoting inflammation of the early phase of wound surface.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2022;43(10):1535-1538
Objective:
To study the psychological and behavioral problems of children with tic disorders (TD), and to identify related influencing factors for effective medical intervention strategies.
Methods:
From June 2020 to June 2021, 69 children with TD were randomly selected as the case group in the pediatric neurologic clinic, while the control group included 69 healthy children who were matched by gender and age. The data were obtained through general questionnaire, Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders-41 (SCARED-41), Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire-25 (SDQ-25) and the Children s Depression Inventory-Short Form (CDI-10), while psychological and behavioral problems and their related risk factors were analyzed.
Results:
The total scores of SCARED-41, SDQ-25 and its difficulties scale, and CDI-10 were (22.1±12.5,13.3±12.3) (21.1±6.0,15.9±3.4) ( 15.6± 6.3,9.3±3.6) (3.7±2.9,2.6±2.9) in the TD and control group respectively, with significant differences ( t/Z =3.8, 13.9, 6.9, -2.6, P <0.05). According to multiple linear regression of children in the TD group, statistically significant effects of maternal bachelor degree on SDQ-25 emotional symptoms, associate degree on SDQ-25 prosocial behavior ( B =-2.20, 2.14), lenient parenting attitude on SCARED-41 general anxiety, worry on SDQ-25 hyperactivity ( B =-7.44, 3.00), time spent on electronic devices on SCARED-41 somatic/panic, school phobia and SDQ-25 conduct problems ( B =0.49, 0.30, 0.20) and exercise intensity of small intensity on CDI-10 ( B =-0.15)were observed ( P <0.05).
Conclusion
Children with TD are prone to emotional disturbances such as anxiety, depression and behavioral problems, all of which are related to their mothers educational background, parents attitude towards discipline, the duration of electronic device use and exercise intensity.

Objective:To explore the mediating effect between anxiety, depression and quality of life in adult patients with epilepsy. Methods:A total of 118 adult patients with epilepsy from Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University were investigated with the ruminative responses scale (RRS), neurological disorders depression inventory for epilepsy (NDDI-E), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD-7), quality of life scale for adult epilepsy patients (QOLIE-31 Chinese Version) and the self-made general situation questionnaire. Statistical analysis was performed by SPSS 20.0 software.Pearson correlation analysis was employed to assess the relationships between rumination, quality of life, anxiety, and depression scores. Hierarchical regression analysis was employed to examine the mediating effect. Results:Among the 118 participants, 5 (4.24%), 58 (49.15%), and 55 (46.61%) patients exhibited high (RRS=66-88), middle (RRS=44-65), and low (RRS=22-43) level of rumination, respectively. Pearson correlation analysis revealed significantly negative correlations between the scores of rumination and its dimensions and quality of life in patients with epilepsy ( r=-0.411--0.318, all P<0.05). Additionally, there were significantly positive correlations between the scores of rumination and its dimensions and anxiety scores ( r=0.524-0.676, all P<0.05) and depression scores ( r=0.566-0.767, all P<0.05). Hierarchical regression analysis demonstrated that rumination played partially mediating role in the relationship between anxiety and quality of life, as well as the relationship between depression and quality of life, with mediation effect values of -0.201 and -0.215, respectively. Conclusion:Anxiety and depression can affect the quality of life of adult patients with epilepsy through rumination.
