Objective To study the curative effect and adverse reactions in patients with chronic nephritis by two treatment methods.Methods 1 00 cases with chronic nephritis were randomly divided into alone western medicine group(control group)50 cases and traditional Chinese combination western medicine group(treatment group)50cases,The index of efficacy,urinary protein of 24h,serum albumin(Alb),serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen (BUN)were observed.Results The total effective rate 78.0%in treatment group was significantly higher than 52.0%in control group(x2=3.841,P＜0.05);Three sub-types showed no significant efficacy difference(x2=1.841,P＞0.05);The contents of urine protein,BUN,Scr levels after treatment were lower than before treatment in two groups(t=2.231,2.245,2.311,all P＜0.05).The content of Alb after treatment was higher than before treatment(t=2.241,P＜0.05);The contents of urinary protein,BUN,Scr,Alb after treatment were significantly different in two groups(t=2.241,2.285,2.301,2.295,all P＜0.05);The adverse reactions in 2 cases(2.4%)in treatment group were significantly lower than 8 patients(16.0%)in control group(x2=6.941,P＜0.01).Conclusion Traditional Chinese and western medicine could delay progression and obtain better clinical results in patients with chronic nephritis.

Primary Amyloidosis localized to the conjuctiva is relatively rare, especially involved to bulbar conjunctiva and corn eo scleral limbus and is consiccered to be in the differential diagnosis of other conjunctival diseases. We diagnosed a amyloidosis in which the biopsy from the superior bulbar conjunctiva and superior cornea of the left eye of 68-year-old woman showed histopathologic findings of amyloidosis. There were no evidences of amyloid deposit except conJuntiva and cornea on physical and other systemic examination, including immunelectrophoresis, and cornea on physical and other systemic examination, including immunelectrophoresis, and no evidences of underlying disease that can cause amyloidosis. So we concluded that it was primary localized amyloidosis of bulbar conjunctiva and cotnea.

Objective To study the effect of anti-epileptic,nootropic drugs on the expression of NCAM and ERK2 in the hippocampus changes on the epileptic rats with cognitive dysfunction.Methods A total of 120Wistar rats were used.20 controls and 100 in which epilepticus with cognitive dysfunction were randomly assigned to 5 groups (n =20/group) that received daily treatments for 30 days with either (1) saline (epilepsy),(2) carbamazine (traditional anti-epileptic),(3) oxcarbazine (new anti-epileptic),(4) aniracetam (brain protective),or (5) donepezil (nootopic).Spatial learning and memory were assessed with a Morris Water Maze (MWM).Hippocampus tissue was assessed for NCAM1 and ERK-2 mRNAs by RT-PCR and proteins by immunochemistry.Results The mean escape latency of the place navigation test:EP group ((67.14 ± 7.37)s)was all higher than NS group (35.78 ± 4.84 s)and there was statistical significance (P ＜ 0.01),carbamazepine group ((81.23 ± 9.46)s) ＞ EP group((67.14 ±7.37)s) ＞ donepezi group((53.75 ±6.74) s) (P＜0.01).Immunohistochemical and RT-PCR result:carbamazepine ＜ oxcarbazepine ＜ epilepsy ＜ aniracetam ＜ donepezi group.Compared with control group,donepezil group ＞ control group (P ＜ 0.01),aniracetam group ＞ control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion ERK-2 expression is decreased and NCAM 1 expression is increased in the hippocampus in the epileptic rats.Thus,both are involved in cognitive dysfunction.Carbamazepine aggravates cognitive dysfunction,whereas donepezil improves cognitive dysfunction associated with epilepsy.

Spectrophotometric seawater pH measurement system is an urgent need of device due to its quick speed and high precision. Based on spectrophotometric method and flow injection analysis technique, an automated system for pH measurement of seawater was developed by integrating pump and valve flow path, LED light source, flow cell and spectrophotometer. This measurement system effectively avoided bubbles. The indicator of concentration gradient in the seawater sample was used to correct for the pH perturbation caused by the indicator, thus the operation of system was simple and convenient. with this system, only 1. 5 min was needed for a sample measurement with a precision of 0. 0013 pH units and an offset of 0. 0059 pH units. This system could be used for the rapid determination of pH of seawater collected by laboratory or research ship with high precision pH values.

In this present paper, the current situation and the main features in acupuncture-moxibustion clinic are analyzed. The preliminary conclusion is that acupuncture-moxibustion research should proceed from the actual situation, take the treatment as the carrier, be scientifically designed and study in a deep-going way according to the methods of medical science for the acupuncture-moxibustion treatment with obvious clinical effect and specific action, then can get the scientific data and conclusion to illustrate the clinical problem and increase the therapeutic effect with important instruction significance for clinical practice. Clinical practice of acupuncture and moxibustion is the basis of all acupuncture-moxibustion research.

PURPOSE: The aim of this study is to examine a path model on the relationship among social capital, physical activity and subjective health status in the community indwelling elderly. METHODS: The study was conducted utilizing the 2014 Seoul Survey, in the method of analyzing cross-sectional design and secondary data. Among 45,497 participants in total, the data of 4578 adults aged 65 or above was analyzed. Social capital was measured by social trust and social participation. Physical activity was measured by regular exercise. Additionally, a numerical rating scale was used to assess subjective health status. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients and path analysis. RESULTS: Social participation and physical activity showed a direct effect on subjective health status in community indwelling elderly while social trust and physical activity showed an indirect effect on their subjective health status. The hypothetical path model of community indwelling elderly's subjective health status was proved correct. CONCLUSION: Findings from this study indicate that health-promoting intervention for community indwelling elderly should consider social trust and participation.

Objective:To explore the application of computer simulation teaching based on GasMan @ software in anesthesiology standardized nursing training. Methods:Thirty-six anesthesia nurses undergoing standardized training were selected as research objects. They were randomly divided into the traditional teaching group (group C) and the computer simulation teaching based on GasMan @ software group (group G), with 18 nurses in each group. All the nurses received the theory test before and after the training, and the practical operation assessment and the teaching satisfaction survey were conducted after the training. SPSS 17.0 was used for independent-samples t test and chi-square test. Results:There was no significant difference in the theoretical test scores of the anesthesia nurses before class between the two groups ( P > 0.05); the theoretical test, practical performance and satisfaction survey of group G were significantly better than those of group C, with statistical significance ( P < 0.05). Conclusion:Computer simulation teaching based on GasMan @ software is in favor of the anesthesia nurse to learn and master the relevant theory of inhalation general anesthesia, especially to improve practical skills.

Objective:To establish a comprehensive and effective scoring model based on ultrasonic characteristics for predicting the restenosis risk after superficial femoral artery stenting, in order to assess the possibility of in-stent restenosis and to provide guidance for the selection of therapeutic strategies.Methods:A retrospective review of a database of 328 patients (381 limbs) undergoing superficial femoral artery stents in Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University from January 2016 to January 2018 was made as a modeling group.In the modeling cohort, the multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to screen independent risk factors for in-stent restenosis. A predictive scoring model of restenosis risk was established with weighted score of independent risk factors according to the odd ratio values. Based on the best cut-off value of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves, the scoring table was divided into low-risk and high-risk groups of restenosis.Results:Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that 8 factors were included in the score system to establish the scoring model of in-stent restenosis risk prediction including calcified plaque, peak systolic velocity of popliteal artery<40 cm/s, runoff scores≥4, ankle-brachial index<0.5, female (1 point each); complicated stroke, complicated chronic renal disease, total lesion length 15.0-24.9 cm (2 points each); total lesion length≥25.0 cm (3 points), a total of 12 points in the model. The validation indicated that the scoring system had good predictive value(AUC=0.775, 95% CI=0.727-0.824, P<0.001) and goodness of fit (Hosmer-Lemeshow χ 2=4.921, P=0.766). The agreement with digital subtraction angiography(DSA) was good (Kappa value=0.609). The scoring system was further divided into the low-risk restenosis (0-5 points) and high-risk restenosis (6-12 points) according to the best cut-off value of 5.5, with a sensitivity of 68.1%, a specificity of 74.6%, and the accuracy of 72.7%. Conclusions:The superficial femoral artery in-stent restenosis risk predicting score model based on ultrasonic characteristics may accurately predict the restenosis preoperatively. It provides a theoretical basis for the precise surgical plans.
