Objective To study the effects of reinforced trunk training on the motor function of stroke patients. Methods Fifty patients were randomly divided into the reinforced trunk training group and the control group. All patients were regularly treated with drug, electrotherapy, acupuncture, massage, physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT). The patients in the reinforced trunk training group were administered with trunk function training in addition to the above interventions. The Rivermead Motor Index (RMI) assessment and the Modified Barthel Index (MBI) assessment were used to assess the motor function of the patients. Results Motor scores of both groups were significantly increased ( P

Objective To investigate intradermal injection and subcutaneous injection of Gadodiamide MR lymphangiography (MRL) in evaluation on the central conducting lymphatics in rabbits. Methods T1 weighted three-dimendional fast low angle shot (fl3d) sequence was used before and after administration of Gadodiamide to undertake MRL.Gadodiamide was administed intrademally in the left and right footpad in 8 rabbits, and then undertake MRL in 1.5T MRI system (intradermal injection group).Three days later,Gadodiamide was administered subcutaneously in the left and right footpad in 8 rabbits, and MRL were underdone with the same sequence (subcutaneous injection group). The degree of contrast enhancement within the lumbar lymphatic trunk and thoracic duct were evaluated using a 3-point scoring system. Results Intradermal injection group showed the popliteal lymph nodes, sacral lymph node and inferior aortic lymph node enhanced obviously in all 8 rabbits, and the enhancement duration time was about 30 90 mini the lumbar lymphatic trunk and cisterna chyli were detected in 6 rabbits, and part of the thoracic duct were detected in 5 rabbits.Subcutaneous injection group showed the popliteal lymph nodes enhanced obviously in all 8 rabbits, but the lumbar lymphatic trunk and the thoracic duct were not detected. The score of contrast enhancement within the lymphatic system of intradermal injection group and subcutaneous injection group had statistical difference (t=100.00,P=0.0002).Conclusion MRL with intradermal injection Gadodiamide are better than subcutaneous injection in evaluation of the lumbar lymphatic trunk.

In this study, the current status for breast diseases in a region with high-incidence of cervical cancer were epidemiologically investigated. From March to August, 2009, 17618 women, from Wufeng area of Hubei province, China, were recruited to screen breast diseases by using breast infrared diagnostic apparatus. Other diagnostic methods, such as B-mode ultrasound, X-ray mammography, needle biopsy and pathological examination were, if necessary, used to further confirm the diagnosis. The screening showed that 5990 of 17618 cases (34.00%) had breast diseases, 5843 (33.16%) had mammary gland hyperplasia, 48 (0.27%) had breast fibroadenoma, 11 (0.06%) had breast carcinoma, and 88 (0.50%) had other breast diseases. The peak morbidity of breast cancer was found in the women aged 50-60 ages. The morbidity of breast cancer was significantly increased in women elder than or equal to 50 years old (n=8, 0.157%) in comparison with that in the subjects younger than 50 years old (n=3, 0.024%) (u=2.327, P<0.05). It was shown that the occurrence of breast diseases was concentrated in women aged 20-40 years, while the total morbidity reached its peak at the age of 30 years and then decreased sharply after age of 40. Compared with the patients elder than or equal to 40 years old (n=3289, 27.46%), the morbidity rate of breast diseases was significantly increased in women less than 40 years old (2648 cases, 47.18%; P<0.001). However, there was no significant difference in the morbidity of breast diseases between the age group of 20-29 years and that of 30-39 years (P=0.453), and both of them were high. There was no significant association between the morbidity of breast diseases and cervical cancer. Since the morbidity of breast diseases was higher among young women, more attention should be paid to the screening of breast diseases among young women for early diagnosis.

【Objective】 To explore the role and value of applied muscle tension (AMT) in preventing vasovagal nerve reaction (VVR) in blood donors. 【Methods】 A total of 2 992 people, susceptible to suffer VVR from May 2020 to may 2022, were randomly divided into control group (1406 cases) and observation group (1 586 cases). The control group was not given AMT intervention, while the observation group received AMT intervention at different periods during blood donation. The changes of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate and psychological state of anxiety (self-rating anxiety scale, SAS) of blood donors were monitored in the two groups at each period to compare the occurrence of VVR. 【Results】 There were no statistically significant differences in blood pressure and heart rate between the two groups before blood donation (P>0.05). The parameters were relatively stable in observation group during and after donation, but significantly different from that of the controls(P>0.05). SAS score was similar in two groups before blood donation(P>0.05), while decreased in observation group during and after donation in comparison with the controls(P<0.05). The incidence of VVR in the observation group was 3.09%, which was significantly lower than that in the control group (7.97%)(P<0.05). The incidence of VVR was 2.18% after AMT exercise during blood donation. 【Conclusion】 AMT intervention in different periods of blood donation can significantly reduce the occurrence of VVR.

【Objective】 To analyze the basic characteristics of whole blood donors from blood stations before and after the outbreak of COVID-19. 【Methods】 After excluding invalid data, data related to the basic characteristics of whole blood donors collected from 26 blood stations in China during 2018 to 2021 were statistically analyzed, including the trend of total whole blood donors, the number of repeated blood donors, the frequency of blood donation, the average age of donors and the recruitment of first-time blood donors. 【Results】 Affected by the epidemic, 8 out of 14 indicators were with large variations, accounting for 57%. The overall growth rate of total whole blood donors during the epidemic was higher than before the epidemic (P<0.05).The number of repeated blood donors has shown an increased trend, with a higher number during the epidemic than before (P<0.05). The frequency of blood donation was lower during the epidemic than before(P<0.05).Average ages of blood donors and female blood donors fluctuated widely during the epidemic, both higher than those before the epidemic(P<0.05).The donation rate of first-time blood donors <25 years old and ≥25 years old varied widely and irregularly during the epidemic (both P<0.05). The percentage of first-time blood donors fluctuated irregularly during the epidemic, with overall percentage lower than that before the epidemic(P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Whole blood donors from 26 blood stations increased after the outbreak of COVID-19, and some indicators in certain areas showed significant fluctuations during the epidemic.
