Objective To discuss the aetiological agent, prevention and treatment of the ureteroscopy lithotripsy concurrence urosepsis. Methods Retrospective analysis of 180 cases with ureteroscopy lithotripsy postoperative clinical data of 8 cases in urosepis patients. Results Eight patients with early active anti-infection,anti-shock treatment, eight patients were recovered and discharged, curative effect is satisfied. Conclusion Ureteroscopy lithotripsy postoperative patients concurrent urosepsis is dangerous, early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment is the key.

Objective To investigate the role of macrophage?derived Act1 (nuclear factor kappa B activator 1) in the inflammatory bowel disease. Methods Genetically engineered mice carrying targeted suppression of Act1 in the mac?rophages (Anti?Act1) were used for the dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)?induced ulcerative colitis. The severity of colitis was assessed by weight loss, stool consistency, fecal blood index, colorectal length and H&E histology. The infiltration of CD45 + leukocytes and CD68 + macrophages in the inflammatory intestine was observed by immunohistochemical staining and expression levels of mRNA for inflammatory cytokines in colon tissues were analyzed by RT?qPCR. Results As com?pared with C57 mice, the anti?Act1 mice exhibited less severe acute colitis following DSS treatment, with reduced CD45 +leukocyte and CD68 + macrophage infiltrates in the colon tissue. Inflamed colons of the anti?Act1 mice expressed lower mR?NA levels of TNF?α, IL?1βand IL?6. Conclusions Targeted suppression of Act1 in the macrophages ameliorates dextran sodium sulfate?induced intestinal inflammation.

Objective To systematically review the effect of team-based learning (TBL) versus the traditional lecture-based learning (LBL) teaching model on basic medical courses in undergraduate medical education. Methods The CNKI, VIP and Wanfang medical databases were electronically searched to retrieve randomized controlled trial studies on TBL applied in undergraduate basic medi-cal courses up to June 2014. In these studies TBL teaching model was used in experiment group with LBL teaching model as control group and course grades were adopted to evaluate the effect of learn-ing. Literature screening, data extraction, and quality assessment were performed in strict accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and then data were analyzed using RevMan 5.3 software. Results This Meta-analysis examined 12 studies, all of them with low quality at C level. Meta analysis shows that the score of the course of TBL teaching is better than the traditional LBL teaching, and the difference is statistically significant [weighed mean difference (WMD): 9.33, 95%CI (5.67, 13.00), P=0.000]. Conclusion Compared with the LBL teaching, the application of TBL teaching in medical undergraduate basic medical courses has the promotion effect, but need more rigorously randomized controlled trials to verify.

Objective To investigate the difference of clinical efficiency and safety in obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD) treatment with escitalopram or paroxetine. Methods A total of 156 OCD patients were randomly divided into escitalopram group (ESC group) and paroxetine group (PAR group).Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS),Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale (TESS)were used to evaluate the clinical efficiency and safety before and after1,2,4,6,8 weeks treatment. Results The cure rate(21.79% vs 17.95%) and effective rate(70.51% vs 71.79%) had no statistically difference between ESC group and PAR group, and incidence of side effect had no significant difference between two groups(x2 =1.99,P>0.05).Compared with the group before treatment,HAMD scores were significantly decreased from the first weekend in ESC group, but in PAR group HAMD scores did not decrease until the second weekend, and the differences were also significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Escitalopram is a safety, effective and well-tolerated drug in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Objective To study the effect of heterozygous deficiency of SGT gene on the hematological and biochemical parameters of mice in young and elderly ages. Methods Blood samples were analyzed for complete hematological and biochemical parameters from heterozygous SGT-deficient and wild-type mice of 10-weeks and 6-months old mice, respectively. Results Age-related changes in most indexes were found statistically significantly different between young and elderly mice with the same genotype.Compared with the wild type at the same age, the platelet large cell ratio (P-LCR) was lower in young heterozygous SGT-deficient mice. However, platelet count, plateletcrit (PCT) and neutrophil count were more significantly lower in elderly heterozygous SGT-deficient mice (P<0.05).There was no significant difference for biochemical parameters ALT, AST, LDH, urea nitrogen, creatinine and blood glucose.Total and unconjugated bilirubin as well as ALP were significantly higher in elderly heterozygous SGT-deficient mice but not for conjugated bilirubin (P<0.05).In addition, significant differences existed for the lipids between two elderly groups (P<0.05).Conclusions Heterozygous deficiency of SGT gene induced changes of some hematological and biochemical parameters in elderly mice.It provides helpful information for further investigation on SGT involvement in some biological and pathological processes.
