1.Correlation between antitumor activity of berberine and the inhibition of Wnt/?-catenin signal pathway
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(09):-
Aim To investigate the relationship between the antitumor activity of berberine and the inhibition of Wnt/?-catenin signaling pathway. Methods The antitumor activities of berberine and total alkaloids of Coptis were assessed for their ability to inhibit the proliferation and to induce apopotosis of human colon cancer lines. A well-established Tcf-4 responsive reporter was introduced into human colon cancer lines to test whether berberine and total alkaloids inhibited the ?-catenin/Tcf4 activity in these cancer cells. Results The proliferation of HCT116 and SW480 cells was inhibited substantially within the concentration ranges of 5 to 40 mg?L~(1) of berberine. 72 hours after treament both HCT116 and SW480 cells underwent apparent apopotosis as demonstrated by Hoechst 33258 staining. Total alkaloids of Coptis had similar effects to berberine when comparable concentrations of it with berberine were used.Berberine effectively and specifically inhibited the Tcf4 reporter activity, but not the positive control reporter at the same experimental conditions. Conclusion Our findings suggest that berberine may be mainly responsible for the antitumor activity of total alkaloids of Coptis and this effect may be mediated at least in part by its inhibitory effect on the Wnt/?-catenin signaling pathway, which is aberrantly activated in many types of human cancer.
2.The neoplastic action mechonism of somatostatin and its application in pancreatic cancer
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 2004;0(06):-
s: Pancreatic cancer remains a major unsolved health problem.Over the past decade, antiproliferative effects of somatostatin and analogs have been reported in many somatostatin receptor-positive normal and tumor cell types.Somatostatin and analogs act through five somatostatin receptors(SSTR1-5)which are variably expressed in normal and tumor cells. The present review focuses on recent advances in biological mechanisms involved in the antineoplastic activity of somatostatin and analogs.
3.Effect of surgery combined with drugs and psychological intervention on prognosis of patients with distal radius fracture
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(7):373-374
Objective To study the effect of surgery combined with drugs and psychological intervention on prognosis of patients with distal radius fractures. Methods 100 patients with distal radius fractures from January 2015 to December 2016 were selected as the research object in this study. They were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, 50 cases in each group. The control group were only treated with surgery, at the basis of surgical treatment, the experimental group were given Yunnan Baiyao capsule and psychological intervention. To increase the frequency of communication with patients, eliminate inner anxiety and other negative emotions, improve treatment compliance. The functional recovery of wrist joint in the two groups was compared and analyzed. Results The excellent rate of wrist in the experimental group was 94%, which was significantly higher than 84% in the control group(P<0.05).There were no complications such as nonunion, infection and carpal tunnel syndrome in the two groups. The fracture healing time in the experimental group was(5.9±1.2) weeks, and in the control group was(5.8±1.1) weeks. The difference in the two groups was no statistically significant. Conclusion Surgery combined with drug and psychological intervention can improve the prognosis and effect of patients with distal radius fracture,.It has clinical value.

Objective To study the expression and significance of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and argyrophilia nucleolar organizer regions (AgNORs) in colorectal carcinoma (CRC) and carcinoma adjacent mucosa (CAM).Methods The expression of PCNA in 48 cases of colorectal carcinoma tissue, CAM and 10 cases of normal mucosa was detected by immunohistochemistry techniques. AgNORs was determined with argyrophilia stain. Results The PCNA labeling index (PCNA LI) and AgNORs count in CRC were higher than that in CAM and normal mucosa( P
7.An analysis for 23 cases of Marfan syndrome complicated with thoracic, pulmonary and diaphragmatic diseases
Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2005;0(08):-
0.05),including seven with spinal kyphosis, seven with thoracic deformity, five with pleural effusion, five with emphysema diagnosed by chest X-ray film, three with spontaneous pneumothorax, two with diaphragmatic hernia, and one developed severe respiratory failure and the other developed cot pulmonale. Conclusions The thorax, lungs and diaphragm were more easily involved in the patients with Marfan syndrome, and pulmonary specialists should keep an eye on them.

Space Medicine & Medical Engineering 2006;0(01):-
Objective To find a new algorithm for oscillometric blood pressure measurement. Method A coefficient difference comparative method was proposed to measure the difference of adjoining pulse waves and their comparative ratios. And the turning point was judged by priority way in the range. Result The new method settled the problem of miscarriage of justice of the turning point around average pressure and improved the accuracy of blood pressure measurement. Conclusion It can detect difference between cardiovascular patients and normal persons. And it is effective and reliable in blood pressure measurement. It provides a convenient method for researching, preventing and epidemiological studies of cardiovascular diseases in our country.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(02):-
This paper describes the measuring principle and algorithm of atherogenic index with oscillometric model. The algorithm proves effective and reliable through analyses of many cases and lots of clinical tests, which has been applied to the development of Lab-VIEW-based software for clinical use. Both patients and doctors can turn to this software for the information of angiosclerosis.
