2.Research progress in autophagy on dry age-related macular degeneration
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2015;33(10):949-952
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a common cause of vision loss and living quality impairment in elderly people.Dry AMD is considered to be a neurodegenerative disease, and there has been no preventive method or effective therapy for it so far.Recent studies reveal that accumulation of lipofuscin may lead to dysfunction and even death of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells.Autophagy is a major lysosome-dependent degradation pathway in eukaryotes involved in the disposal of damaged cytoplasmic proteins and organelles.Autophagy is revealed to be involved in the pathological processes of several neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and dry AMD.Therefore, studies focus on autophagy may provide a new target for the prevention and treatment of dry AMD.This paper reviewed the research progress of autophagy in the pathogenesis of AMD in recent years. The roles of autophagy, lysosomal damage, oxidative stress and immune inflammatory reaction were described.
3.The effect of emergency corpus luteum cystectomy for the prevention of persistent ectopic pregnancy
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(4):515-516
Objective To explore the effect of emergency corpus luteum cystectomy for the prevention of persistent ectopic pregnancy(PEP).Methods The clinical data of 68 patients with ectopie pregnancy in emergency conservative operation were analyzed retrospectively. All patients were divided into the observation group(treated with corpus luteum cystectomy,40 cases) and control group (without corpus luteum cystectomy,28 cases). The declining of β-HCG,incidence rate of PEP were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence rate of PEP of the observation group was 0,which was obviously lower than that of the control group(10.7%) (x2 =4.47,P < 0.05).Conclusion The emergency corpus luteum cystectomy can effectively prevent PEP and the operation is simple and convenient.
4.Effect of surgery combined with drugs and psychological intervention on prognosis of patients with distal radius fracture
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(7):373-374
Objective To study the effect of surgery combined with drugs and psychological intervention on prognosis of patients with distal radius fractures. Methods 100 patients with distal radius fractures from January 2015 to December 2016 were selected as the research object in this study. They were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, 50 cases in each group. The control group were only treated with surgery, at the basis of surgical treatment, the experimental group were given Yunnan Baiyao capsule and psychological intervention. To increase the frequency of communication with patients, eliminate inner anxiety and other negative emotions, improve treatment compliance. The functional recovery of wrist joint in the two groups was compared and analyzed. Results The excellent rate of wrist in the experimental group was 94%, which was significantly higher than 84% in the control group(P<0.05).There were no complications such as nonunion, infection and carpal tunnel syndrome in the two groups. The fracture healing time in the experimental group was(5.9±1.2) weeks, and in the control group was(5.8±1.1) weeks. The difference in the two groups was no statistically significant. Conclusion Surgery combined with drug and psychological intervention can improve the prognosis and effect of patients with distal radius fracture,.It has clinical value.
5.The application of comprehensive prevention measures for the ventilator associated pneumonia in the clinical
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2014;37(z1):20-23
Objective Statistics and analyze the effect of comprehensive prevention measures for the ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP) morbidity and mortality, and investigate its actual applicate situation in the clinical. Methods Statistics and analyze the clinical date of 183 cases of our ICU mechanical ventilation patients in 2012 (group A),including morbidity, mortality, time of endotracheal intubation, length of stay and the primary pathogenic bacteria, and to compared with the relevant clinical data of 192 cases of our ICU mechanical ventilation patients in 2011 (group B),summarize and analysis the actual applicate situation of the comprehensive prevention measures in the clinical through the data contrast. Results The incidence of VAP in group A was lower than that in group B [31.7%(58/183) vs.58.3%(112/192)] (P < 0.05),but the mortality was no statistical difference in both groups (P > 0.05) ; the endotracheal intubation time and the average length of stay in group A were less than those in group B [6.3 d vs.10.6 d,7.6 d vs.11.9 d](P<0.05); the main pathogenic bacterium of VAP with mainly gram-negative bacilh. Conclusions Comprehensive prevention measures can effectively reduce the incidence of VAP,but the mortality rate has no significant effect, need further clinical research;comprehensive prevention measures to reduce patients with tube time also confirm its effectiveness.Comprehensive prevention measures are economical and practical,is worth in clinical promotion.
6.Correlation of lymphatic vessel density with a high mobility group Box-1 protein and tumor-associated macrophages in cervical carci-noma
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2014;46(4):222-226
Objective: To detect the correlation of lymphatic vessel density (LVD) with a high mobility group box-1 Protein (HMGB1) and tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) in cervical carcinoma and the effect on prognosis. Methods:Immunohistochem-istry was applied to detect HMGB1, CD68, and D2-40 expressions in cervical squamous cell carcinoma in 93 cases. t test,χ2 test, Spear-man rank correlation analysis, Kaplan-Meier method, and Cox regression were performed to analyze the expression levels, correlation, and prognosis. Results: HMGB1 protein, CD68, and D2-40 were highly expressed in CSCC. As HMGB1 and TAM expressions in-creased, lymphatic vessel density increased. As HMGB1 and TAM expressions decreased, lymphatic vessel density decreased. Positive correlations were also found between the HMGB1 protein, TAM content, and LVD. In the group with low HMGB1 and TAM expres-sions, the survival time of the group with a high LVD expression was significantly lower than that of the group with a low LVD expres-sion. A multivariate Cox regression model showed that HMGB1 and lymph node metastasis were independent prognostic factors. TAMs and LVD were not independent prognostic factors. Conclusion:HMGB1 proteins and TAMs were highly expressed in CSCC. Patients who exhibit increased HMGB1 expression or increased TAM count consequently show enhanced LVD expressions, increased lymph node metastasis, and poor prognosis.
7.The Expression and Significance of Multidrug Resistant Gene mdr1 in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(04):-
Objective To explore the relationship between mdr1 gene expression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and pathological characteristics, chemotherapy and prognosis. Methods The mdr1 gene expression of HCC in 56 patients with the methods of immunohistochemistry was studied. The results were analysed with the pathological data by statistic methods. Results The positive expression of mdr1 gene in cancer tissues and pericancerous tissues of HCC were 30/56(53.6%) and 19/56 (33.9%) respectively. The difference was statistically significant (? 2=4.39, P

Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases 2001;0(06):-
Objective To study the role of local immunity in the female genital tract with non- gonococcal urethritis(NGU).Methods Forty-four cervical secretions from patients with NGU were collected. After treatment with Azithromycin,22 cases were followed up.One month later, pathogen was eliminated in 15 patients.Another 27 un-infected people were included in our study. The level of secretory immunoglobulin A(SIgA)was detected using the automatic special protein analysor, and interferon-?(IFN-?)was quantified by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).All data were analyzed with ANOVA.Results The levels of SIgA and IFN-?in NGU infected group were(34.29?15.92)mg/L and(97.13?24.00)ng/L respectively, while those of uninfected group were(47.57?19.61)mg/L and(120.71?33.78)ng/L,respectively(all P0.05).Conclusions SIgA and IFN-?secreted by genital tract mucosa may help pre- vent and resist the local NGU infection. However, the effect is limited, and is insufficient to eliminate infection completely and prevent reinfection.
