The electroencephalography (EEG) has a wide range of content, complex graphics and abstract theory. Meanwhile, there are differences in professional level, learning ability and subjective initia-tive among refresher doctors. In order to improve the quality of teaching, and to better serve the refresher doctors, the following strategies have been applied in the teaching process. We not only make the training target according to the actual condition of every refresher doctors, but also make them take a correct atti-tude towards study and follow the teaching arrangement. Besides, we not only orient at the operational skills training, including electrode installation, EEG evoked test, Point-of-Care test to eliminate the interference, but also promote the refresher doctors to seek the law of the diagram in the actual interpretation process with longitudinal development view and horizontal comparison perspective. Furthermore, we not only stan-dardize their report, but also broaden their view.

The dynamic of endophytic bacteria at different growth stage of tomato and use of these endophytic bacteria to control tomato bacterial wilt were studied. The results showed that endophytic bacteria could be found in the tomato seeds and their quantities reached the highest peak in the adult plants both in resistant and susceptible cultivars. The amount of endophytic bacteria in adult plants of resistant tomato cultivars was 2.43?10~5CFU/g FW in the root and 22.9?10~4 CFU/g FW in the stem, while the amount of endophytic bacteria in adult plants of susceptible tomato cultivars was 9.8?10~4CFU/g FW in the root and 13.4?10~4CFU/g FW in the stem respectively. Seventeen strains of endophytic bacteria from resistant cultivars and only seven strains from susceptible cultivars were found to be antagonistic to Ralstonia solanacearum. In addition, some strains of endophytic bacteria had the abilities of promoting tomato seed germination and controlling tomato bacterial wilt, among which, strain 5R and 3R had better control effect of 91.7% and 81.3% respectively.

Microbiology 2008;0(08):-
The population of bacterial physiological groups in tomato with different resistant to Ralstonia solanacearum was studied. The results suggested that endophytic bacterial communities and population in tomato variety changed with different resistant cultivars, different stages of tomato and seasons. It was con-ducted that the amount of ammoniation bacteria was the highest among the seven physiological bacterial groups. There were more ammoniation bacteria in high resistant tomato cultivars than that in high suscepti-ble cultivars. It may indicate that ammoniation bacteria played a key role in the occurrence of tomato bacte-rial wilt. In addition, the total amount of physiological bacteria in resistant cultivars was more than that in susceptible cultivars in different stages of tomato, and the tendency of changing displayed fluctuation. The average level of quantities of the ammoniation bacteria, nitrifiers bacteria, erobic nitogenfixing bacteria and desulphate reducer bacteria in summer were higher than that in winter, while the population of the sulphate reduced bacteria in winter was higher than that in summer. Furthermore, the amount of anaerobic bacteria was the least among them.

Objective To explore the relationship between the diabetic retinopathy (DR) and the carotid artery intima-media thickness(IMT) in type 2 diabetic patients to reveal the relationship between macroangiopathy and microangiopathy in diabetic patients further. Methods One hundred and tweenty-three diabetic cases in patient chosen from 2008 to 2009 were divided into diabetic retinopathy group(DR) and non-diabetic retinopathy group(NDR) by fundus examination. The patients were asked about their disease history including durations, smoking and so on. Meanwhile the carotid artery IMT, systolic pressure (SBP), diastolic pressure (DBP), serum total cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL)-cholesterol, low density lipoprotein (LDL)-cholesterol, glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc), body mass index(BMI) were measured of all the cases. The incidence of increased carotid artery IMT was cmpared with χ2 test, as well as the average IMT between the two groups, the influencing factors artery IMT was 50.98%(26/51) in DR group, and 33.33%(24/72) in NDR group, having a statistically significant showed the diabetic retinopathy risk factors were smoking(χ2=6.20, P<0.05), duration(t=-4.13, P<0.01). carotid artery IMT(t=-2.21, P<0.05), SBP(t=-2.37, P<0.05), and HDL-cholesterol(t=4.49, all P<0.01). 12.77, all P<0.01), carotid artery 1MT and smoking(χ2=6.05,4.15, all P<0.05). Conclusions Type 2 diabetic patients complicated with DR have a prominent increase in IMT thickening proportion and average IMT, which reveals the relationship between the DR and the IMT.

Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2014;32(6):506-511
Background Mitomycin C (MMC) is still irreplaceable until now. While it's current administration method has proved less than effective in the treatment of refractory glaucoma. To construct a MMC sustained release system which can maintain effective concentration and reduce toxicity is important for postoperative scarring regulation after glaucoma filtration surgery. Objective To evaluate the postoperative effect of use PTMC-F127-PTMC thermosensitive hydrogel as a new drug delivery carrier to sustained release MMC in rabbit trabeculactory. Methods Sixty rabbits, aged 10 to 14 weeks, were divided into 5 trabeculectomy groups in accordance with the random number table, including surgery only group, blank PTMC-F127-PTMC group and three sustained groups with 0.1 ml PTMC-F127-PTMC loaded with 0.05,0.10,0.20 g/L MMC injected after surgery. The MMC concentration of anterior chamber aqueous in three sustained release group with 0.1 ml PTMC-F127-PTMC loaded with 0.05,0.1,0.2 g/L MMC injected after surgery were tested by Guangzhou Analysis and Testing Center using high performance liquid chromatograph-mass spectrometer (HPLC-MS).At 3,7 days postoperatively,0.1 ml aqueous humor from 2 random selected rabbits in each group was extracted using 1 ml syringe with 30G needles from corneal limbus. At postoperative 1,3,5,7,10,14,28 days, bleb width and depth were calculated with caliper measurements and height was graded semiquantitatively by slit-lamp examinations, intraocular pressure (IOP) was measured with Tonopen. And corneal endothelial cell densities were examined by corneal endothelial counting before and 28 days after surgery.Sequential sections of the operative region were prepared and stained with hematoxylin and eosin and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) after taking off the eyeballs from dead rabbits at 28 days later. Results MMC could be sustained released from PTMC-F127-PTMC hydrogel for more than 20 days. The mean postoperative bleb survival time in trabeculectomy surgery only group, blank hydrogel group and three sustained release groups were (5.3 ± 0.4),(5.5 ± 0.4),(12.2 ± 1.0),(25.1 ± 0.9),(26.7 ± 0.7) days respectively, the difference between each group was significantly (F =123.200,P =0.000).0.05 g/L MMC sustained release group has a better bleb survival time than that of surgery only group and blank hydrogel group (P =0.000).Compared with other groups,0.10 g/L and 0.20 g/L MMC sustained group has the longest bleb survival time (P =0.000),and more obvious IOP downtrending (F=53 010.000,P<0.01).But the difference between the two groups was not significant. There was no difference in cornea endothelia cells counts between each group and no MMC was detected in aqueous humors.Histopathology test shows that the inflammatory response and fibrosis were lighter in MMC sustained release group, with stronger proliferation inhibition. Conclusions PTMC-F127-PTMC thermosensitive hydrogel can be a new drug delivery carrier to sustained release MMC.Sustain release MMC can extent bleb survival time with low toxicity.
