Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2014;(10):1479-1481,1501
Objective To investigate the prognostic factors in patients with sepsis and to provide the theoretical basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods A total of 141 septic patients were analyzed retrospectively. Patients were divided into two groups:those who were alive at time of ICU discharge ( survivors;n=83 ) and those who died or to give up before terminal stage ( nonsurvivors;n=58 ) . Then the clinical data were statistically ana-lyzed. Results In the death group: age, APACHE II score, blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, C-reactive protein were significantly higher than the survival group (P<0. 01) while albumin, pre albumin were lower than that in the survival group (P<0.01). The Logistic regression analysis illustrated: age ( > 60 years), APACHEIIscore ( >20 score) and blood urea nitrogen ( > 9 mmol/L) , serum creatinine ( > 176 μmol/L) , C-reactive protein level were independent predictors of death in patients with sepsis ( P<0 . 05 ) . Then drew the receiver oper-ating characteristic curve ( ROC curve) and analyzed the respective risk factor for predicting prognosis value of sep-sis with the help of ROC curve. Conclusion Age, high APACHE II score in early sepsis, increased urea nitro-gen, elevated serum creatinine and increased C-reactive protein levels were regarded as prognostic value indicators for adverse clinical outcomes in patients with sepsis.
2.Series interpretation to Chinese Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acromegaly(2020)(Part 5): Assessment, management, and follow-up of acromegaly complications
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2021;37(5):432-435
Acromegaly causes many complications such as bone and joint diseases, sleep apnea syndrome, glucose and lipid metabolism disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and tumors. Delays in clinical diagnosis and treatment have significantly increased the incidence of complications. According to " Chinese Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acromegaly(2020)" , we interpret the assessment, management, and follow-up of acromegaly comorbidities in order to guide and standardize the management of acromegaly comorbidities and improve the prognosis of patients.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(12):1573-1580
Snake antivenomimmunoglobulins are considered to be the most efficient drugs in snake envenomings. Most snake antivenomimmunoglobulins all over the world are still prepared by fragmentation of polyclonal antibodies isolated from hyper-immunized horse serum till now. In this review, we retrospect the history of snake antivenomimmunoglobulins, analysis the present situation and pay the close attention on the key technological links in the process of research and manufacturing, such as properties of IgG and its fragments, selection and preparation of immunogen, optimization of immunization schedule and protein isolation and purification, which can be available for the reference in the research and development of snake antivenom.

Journal of Medical Research 2015;44(4):61-66
Objective To explore the potential significance of long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) expressed in endoplasmic reticulum stress response also known as unfolded protein response ( UPR) .Methods Mouse embryonic fibroblasts ( MEFs) were isolated from 13 day mouse embryo , cultured and treated with tunicamycin for 16 hours to induce UPR .The untreated MEFs were used as negative control .The lncRNA expression profile was examined by a customized lncRNA array. The results of array assay were validated by real-time PCR and further analyzed by bioinformatics. Results There were 411 lncRNAs whose expression was signficantly up-regulated in MEFs treated with tunicamycin as compared with the controls ,while 790 lncRNAs were significantly down-regulated. A number of significantly alter lncRNAs were validated by real-time PCR. A further bioinformatics analysis of lncRNA profile suggested that many cold be in-volved in multiple cellular pathways. Conclusion Our lncRNA expression profile and bioinformatics studies srongly suggest that many lncRNAs can be regulated in the cells under UPR and could also in turn regulate UPR and other cellular processes.

Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2001;29(3):249-252
The fluorescence characteristics of reaction products of sparfloxacin with halide (F, Cl, Br, I) have been studied. It was found that sparfloxacin was oxidized by nitrous acid then reacted with halide further to formstrong fluorescence substances in acid media. Their fluorescence intensitites enhanced with aggrandizing of atom radii of halides, which could emit the strong fluorescence 58~151 fold more than that of sparfloxacin itself. Thus a new sensitive method for the direct determination of sparfloxacin in human urine by derivative-synchronous fluorescence was presented. A plausible mchanism was proposed to explin this behavior.

Objective To explore a practical way for traceability and comparability of the value obtained from clinical biochemical examination in regional medical organizations by transferring the assigned value in fresh serum to daily serum calibrator. Methods Six local comprehensive hospitals with Grade III were chosen to analyze the effects of calibration by traceability and the comparability of examined results. The definite values of standard panel in matching analytical system were transferred to fresh sera for value assignment.Verified biochemical analyzers were used to examine the values of alaninetransaminase(ALT),total cholesterol(TC),urea and total bilirubin(TBil) in mixed fresh sera and intercomparison with target system was performed to analyze the effect of traceable calibration and the comparability among various analytical systems. Results Although all the applied instruments in the present study were in good conditions with high precision, the comparability of obtained results of ALT,TC,Urea and TBil between tested system and target system was low and the differences were significant(P0.05).Conclusion Traceable precision transfer by using fresh serum is a simple, practical, feasible way to realize the traceability and comparability of regional clinical biochemical examination.

Journal of Medical Informatics 2017;38(5):7-10,20
The paper analyzes different expressions of indirectly associated strong-weak connection in the process of biomedical literature knowledge discovery, defines the effect and function of strong-weak connection on literature knowledge discovery, and indicates that the accuracy rate of the discovery of potential connection through strong connection is obviously higher than the accuracy rate obtained through weak connection, and strong connection can serve as an important factor for improving the application effect of literature knowledge discovery.

To assess the effectiveness and safety ofinside-out (TVT-O) vs. outside-in transobturator-tape procedures (TOT) in the surgical management of female stress urinary incontinence (SUI).A total of 8 randomized controlled trials were retrieved from the literature and analyzed by metaanalysis with RevMan 5.0 software.Meta-analysis showed that no statistical differences existed in objective cure rate, objective failure, postoperative voiding dysfunction,groin/thigh pain and sling exposure in both procedures (P > 0.05).These preliminary results suggest there is no evidence of significant differences in the efficacy and safety between TVT-O and TOT.
