1.Diagnosis Study Progress of Aortopulmonary Septal Defect
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(13):-
Aortopulmonary septal defect is a rare anomaly,it should be considered whenever the course of complex congenital heart di-sease includes early cardiac failure and pulmonary hypertension. So the importance of early correction to avoid irreversible pulmonary hypertension was emphasized.Noninvasive imaging with echocardiography and (or) 64MRSCT will adequately define the anatomy before surgery,it's necessary to perform cardiac catheterization to evaluate the reversability of pulmonary vessels when pulmonary hypertention is suspected.

Objective To study the killing effect of polymorphonuclear neutrophils(PMNs) on Trichomonas vaginalis. Methods The vaginal secretion from a patient with vaginitis was incubated in the liver infusion liquid medium to get T. vaginalis. One ml serum was collected from the patient and heated for 30 min at 56 ℃ to inactivate complement in serum, and was absorbed three times with the parasites at 0 ℃ to make the serum free of antibodies. PMNs were separated from the patient’s blood and purified with density gradient centrifugation and polymer accelerating sedimentation. NBT and safranin O were used to stain the sample. The interaction between PMNs and the parasites was observed under microscope. 300 trichomonads and 3?104 PMNs were incubated for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 minutes under the conditions of aerobic or anaerobic, with superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) or without SOD and CAT, and with complement or without complement. They were then inoculated in solid medium for another five days under the anaerobic condition, and surviving organisms were enumerated. Results PMNs were observed to surround and kill a single trichomonad. In the petri-dish containing PMNs, the surviving rate of the parasites in anaerobic condition was 85%, only 3% in aerobic condition (P

Objective To explore the expression of Survivin in colorectal cancer tissue and its relationship with clinicopathological features. Methods In situ hybridization was used to examine the expression of Survivin mRNA,and immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of Survivin protein in 60 cases of colorectal cancer and 30 cases of colorectal normal mucos tissue. The relationship of the expression of Survivin protein with clinicopathological features of colorectal cancer was analyzed. Results The positive expression rate of Survivin protein in colorectal normal mucos tissue (10.00%,3/30) was lower than that in colorectal cancer tissue (73.33%,44/60),and there was significant difference (P < 0.05).The positive expression rate of Survivin mRNA in colorectal normal mucos tissue (6.67%,2/30) was lower than that in colorectal cancer tissue (63.33%,38/60),and there was significant difference (P < 0.05).The expression of Survivin mRNA was positively correlated with depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, liver metastasis, peritoneal micrometastasis and TNM stage in patients with colorectal cancer (P < 0.01),but had no correlation with gender, age, tumor size, location, degree of differentiation and histological type (P > 0.05).Conclusions The specific high expression of Survivin protein has a high correlation with the occurrence, development, infiltration of colorectal cancer.Survivin may be used as a marker for prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer.

ObjectiveTo investigate the anxiety and its interrelated factors of elderly outpatients. MethodsZung self-rating anxiety scale was used to evaluate 971 elderly outpatients, the scores between different sex, age, degree of education, etc. were compared. ResultsThe scores may become significantly different with the patients' sex, age, degree of education, satisfaction in regards to medical service and recognition of the disease(P<0.05).ConclusionFactors such as sex, age, degree of education, satisfaction of medical service, etc, deeply affect the anxiety in elderly outpatients.

We investigated serotype and resistance of Salmonella during pig slaughtering in Shandong Province,China, providing basic data for the risk assessment of Salmonella and for guiding the clinical medication. We used rapid classification kit to identify Salmonella serotype, adopted broth microdilution method to detect the resistance of 13 kinds drugs belong to 8 categories.Result showed that the identified 9 kinds of serotype were mainly S.derby and S.typhimurium.The resistance to 13 kinds drugs of 298 Salmonella were different. The higher percentage of tetracycline drugs as Doxycycline(DOX) and Tetracycline(TE) were 97.99% and 80.20%,respectively,which was most sensitive to Colistine E.The resistant rate was only 2.01 %,following by Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid and Ofloxacin which were 2.35 % and 4.03%,and the multiple resistant rate was 81.88%.TE-DOX was the regnant drug-resistant spectrum. In conclusion, the predominant serotype of Salmonella in links of pig slaughtering in Shandong Province is S.derby, and resistance is different to the different drugs. The drug resistance of different slaughter links exist significant differences, multiple drug resistance is serious, and drug-resistant spectrum are varied.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical effect of endovascular embolization (EVE) in the treatment of hemoptysis of systemic arterial origin in children.
METHODSA total of 20 children with hemoptysis of systemic arterial origin who underwent EVE from January 2016 to November 2017 were enrolled. The method for embolization was analyzed and the clinical outcome was evaluated.
RESULTSOffending vessels were bronchial artery (BA) in 14 children, non-bronchial systemic artery (NBSA) in 1 child, and BA and NBSA in 5 children. Of all the children, 13 underwent EVE with peripheral embolization agents and 7 underwent EVE with mechanical coils. A total of 41 offending vessels were embolized (34 BAs and 7 NBSAs) and all the children achieved immediate arrest of hemoptysis. Two children experienced recurrence within 6 months after EVE and 2 experienced recurrence with 6-24 months after EVE. The peripheral embolization agent group had a lower overall recurrence rate than the mechanical coil group [8%(1/13) vs 43%(3/7); P=0.10]. One child experienced intracranial ectopic embolism after surgery and had good quality of life during 20 months of follow-up after treatment. No other complications were observed.
CONCLUSIONSEVE is a safe and effective method for the treatment of hemoptysis of systemic arterial origin in children and thus holds promise for clinical application.

The study was aimed to explore the mechanism of SYK and CBL family of ubiquitin ligases in Bufalin-induced HL-60 cells apoptosis. Cell viability was tested by trypan blue staining and apoptosis was detected by using flow cytometry. The expressions of CBL and CBL-b and the phosphorylation of SYK were detected by using immunoprecipitation and Western blot. The results showed that Bufalin inhibited HL-60 cell proliferation in time- and dose-dependent manners. IC(50) of suppressing cell viability at 24, 48 and 72 hours were about 26.3, 7.8 and 2.0 nmol/L respectively. The high dose of bufalin already induced apoptosis of HL-60 cells at 8 hours. SYK was quickly phosphorylated, and the expressions of CBL and CBL-b were down-regulated after treatment with Bufalin. It is concluded that SYK activation and CBL protein down-regulation may be involved in Bufalin-induced HL-60 cell apoptosis.
