Objective To isolate new conotoxins of Conus textile from the South China Sea,provide new conopeptides for drug discovery and design, and investigate the effects of living environment on toxin secretion by comparing the compositions of the conotoxins of this species from different areas. Methods Crude conotoxins were purified by Sephadex G-25 and RP-HPLC, the amino acid sequences of the purified peptides were determined. Results More than 10 conotoxins were isolated from Conus textile, 4 conotoxins were firstly isolated and 6 conotoxins had the similar sequence as the reported peptides. Conclusion Many M-family conotoxins were isolated from Conus textile, the main compositions of the venom of Conus textile from the South China Sea were similar to those from Cebu and Marinduquc island in Philippines.

Objective To explore the application value of sensitive index of nursing quality in nursing management of patients with cancer pain. Methods One hundred and eight patients with cancer pain in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University from February 2014 to March 2015 were selected as the control group;one hundred and eight patients with cancer pain in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University from April 2015 to June 2016 were selected as the study group. The traditional cancer pain nursing quality evaluation criterion was taken in the control group, and the improved cancer pain nursing quality evaluation criterion was taken in the study group to evaluate the nursing quality. The accuracy of pain assessment, awareness rate of cancer pain knowledge, degree of satisfaction to the nursing work were compared between the two groups. Results The accuracy of pain assessment of patients in the study group (90.7%,98/108)was significandy higher than that in the control group (45.4%,49/108) (x2 =51.16,P < 0.05);the awareness rate of cancer pain knowledge of patients (98.1%,106/108) in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group (72.2%,78/108) (x2 =28.83,P < 0.05);the satisfaction rate of the patients in the study group (100.0%,108/108) was significantly higher than that in the control group (85.2%,92/108) (x2 =17.38,P < 0.05).Conclusion The overall quality of cancer pain care can be improved by strengthening the quality evaluation of the pain assessment accuracy and the awareness rate of cancer pain knowledge in patients with cancer pain.

Purpose To investigate the influence of paraquat on substantial nigra and doparine levels ofstriatum in C57BL mice. Methods 39 neonatal C57BL mice were randomly divided into 5 groups andwere given paraquat or 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetra-hydropyridine(MPTP) orally in 10 th and 11 thdays odl; ( 1 ) MPTP 0.3 mg/kg, n = 8; (2) MPTP 20 mg/kg, n = 8; (3) paraquat 0.07 mg/kg, n = 8; ( 4 )paraquat 0.36 mg/kg, n = 8; (5) normal saline, n = 7. Adult spontaneous motor activity was observed atages of 120 days, then the mice were decapitated and the contents of dopamine(DA), serotonin(5-HT), andtheir metabolites in striatum were analyzed. Meanwhile, the dopamine neuons at the mesencephalon vereobserved by the method of ABC immunohistochemistry. Results Mice given Paraquat 0.36 mg/kg andMPTP 20 rng/kg showed a marked bypoactive behavior and reduced the striatal contents of DA andmetabolites without affecting 5-HT. Immunohistochemical staining showed that the amount of dopamineneurons at the midbrain decreased. Conclusions C57BL mice exposed to great amount of paraquat duringthe neonatal period could yield the alterations of behavior and some pathological and biochemical changessimilar to parkinson disease.

Objective To evaluate the role of treadmill exercise‐stress echocardiography in the assessment of left ventricular ( LV ) function in patients with slow coronary flow ( SCF ) ,and discuss the possible mechanism of SCF . Methods Forty‐six patients with diagnosis of SCF were enrolled as SCF group . Forty age and sex matched adults were included as control group . All subjects had underwent clinical evaluation and exercise stress echocardiography . LV diastolic and systolic functions were assessed by conventional echocardiography , tissue Doppler imaging and two‐dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography at rest and during exercise . Results ①LV function in patients with SCF at rest :LV peak systolic longitudinal strain ( LS) was lower in patients with SCF than that in controls ( P <0 .05) . T here was no difference of LV ejection fraction ( LVEF) between the two group( P>0 .05) . Early diastolic mitral annulus velocity ( M itral e′) and the ratio between the early mitral inflow velocity and Mitral e′( M itral E/e′) were significantly decreased in SCF group( all P<0 .01 ) . ②LV function during exercise :LVEF ,LS and M itral e′were significant increased in two groups ( all P <0 .05 ) than those at rest ,but there was no significant difference of LVEF ,LS ,M itral e′ and M itral E/e′ between the two groups ( all P > 0 .05 ) . Compared with control group ,ΔLS and ΔM itral e′were significantly higher in SCF group ( all P<0 .05 ) . Conclusions LV systolic and diastolic function in patients with SCF are impaired at rest . LV systolic and diastolic function recover in patients with SCF during exercise .
