1.Clinical Value of CDFI-based Pretherapeutic Score in Selecting Medical Treatment of Ectopic Pregnancy
Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(07):-
Objective To explore the clinical value of colour doppler flow imaging (CDFI) in selecting the ectopic pregnancy(EP) suitable for medical treatment. Methods 50 cases of ectopic pregnancy with hematodynamic stability were injected with a single dose of 50mg/m 2 MTX after CDFI examination. All patients were followed up until clinical results were confirmed. The CDFI characteristics of the failure and the success cases were analysed in combination with their serum HCG levels, and a CDFI-based pretherapeutic score were designed. Results CDFI could reflect the viability of ectopic fetus directly. There was a significant difference in the successful rate of medical treatment of ectopic pregnancy among the patients with various types of CDFI images and the various levels of serum HCG (P10 had the high failure rate, thus medical treatment of ectopic pregnancy is not recommended to them.

Objective:To evaluate the sealing ability of the 3.0th generation of polyamidoamine dendrimer(3.0 PAMAM)on hu-man dentinal tubules.Methods:1 6 extracted premolars were cut into 2 mm thick dentin slices to establish sensitive dentin model in vitro. Then 2 samples without any treatment were selected randomly into demineralized dentin group, and the remain 1 4 dentine pills were divided into 2 groups by the random number table(n=7).Samples in the experimental group were treated with 3.0 PAMAM, those in the control group were treated with deionized water. After having immersed in the artificial saliva for 2 and 4 weeks respec-tively,the dentin slices were examined by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS). Results:SEM showed that the minerals on the surfaces of the dentine disks in experimental group were formed gradually with the time, the dentinal tubules were blocked 4 weeks after treatment. The minerals on the sample surface in control group were less and the dentinal tubules remained open.EDS results showed that Ca/P(1 .49 ±0.1 6)of mineral deposition in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (1 .1 8 ±0.20)(P<0.05).Conclusion:The 3.0th generation of PAMAMhas the occlu-ding ability by inducing remineralization on the dentine surface and it may be used in the treatment of dentin hypersensitivity.

Clinical data of 899 patients, who received colposcopic examination, were retrospectively analyzed. Both Reid's colposcopic index(RCI)score and biopsy were performed. The study showed that the value of RCI score was positively related to the severity of cervical lesions(F=2.043,P=0.03).The specificity of RCI for cervicitis, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)Ⅰ were 98.8%,95.7% respectively;while sensitivity and negative predictive value for CIN Ⅱ,CIN Ⅲ were 77.7%,70.0%and 96.8%.97.4%,respectively.So RCI scoring can increase the diagnostic value of colposcope.

Objective To evaluate the remineralization effect of Ca(OH)2,pre-treated with carboxylmodified polyamidoamine dendrimer(PAMAM) on demineralized dentin. Methods Thirty-two demineralized dentin models were divided into four groups randomly as follows:control group with no treatment,Ca(OH)2 group pretreated with Ca(OH)2 solution,PAMAM group processed with carboxyl-modified PAMAM,and PAMAM + Ca(OH) 2 group processed with carboxyl-modified PAMAM and pretreated with Ca(OH)2 solution. All samples were immersed in artificial saliva for two weeks. The remineralization effects of dentin discs were evaluated by scanning electron microscope(SEM),energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS) and X-ray diffraction(XRD).Results Observed by the SEM,it was showed that in PAMAM + Ca(OH)2 group almost all the dentinal tubules were occluded by the minerals, however this was not found in other groups. The minerals proved were hydroxyapatite through EDS and XRD tests. Conclusions There was potential superiority of the carboxyl-modified PAMAM with Ca(OH)2 solution in promoting the remineralization of initial dentin lesions.

Ocular accommodation refers to the process by which the ciliary muscle creates a clear image of the object in the retina by changing the refractive power of the lens. When the accommodation ability of the eye is insufficient, the imaging focus falls on the region behind the retina and hyperopic defocus is easily formed, resulting in axial growth and leading to the development of myopia, and it is found that most myopic patients usually have some accommodation dysfunction. Myopia has become a public health problem in China, and the prevalence of adolescents has increased dramatically. How to prevent and stop the occurrence and development of myopia is a major challenge. Previous studies have found that ocular accommodation dysfunction is associated with the occurrence and development of myopia, and the measurement of parameters related to accommodation function has certain guiding significance for the prevention and control of myopia. The purpose of this paper is to review the correlation between myopia and ocular accommodation function, with a view to providing new ideas for the prevention, control and treatment of myopia.

Objective To investigate the effect of rehabilitation training combined with acupuncture ( RTA) on upper limb function of stroke patients by Kinect. Methods Stroke patients with upper limb dysfunction werrandomly divided into control group (rehabilitation training) and treatment group ( RTA), with 15 cases in each group. The modified Barthel Index ( MBI), Fugl Meyer assessment ( FMA), and Wolf motor function test (WMFT) were compared between two groups before and after treatment. The changes in motor time ( MT), motor unit number (MUN), index of curvature (IC), elbow flexion angle (EFA), shoulder flexion angle (SFA),and shoulder adduction angle ( SAA) during three actions, namely, placing forearm on the table, extending elbow and drinking water, were evaluated by Kinect and then compared between two groups before and after treatment. Results After 6 weeks of intervention, the scores of MBI, FMA, WMFT and elbow extension in treatment group were higher than those in control group (P<0. 05). The scores of MBI, FMA, WMFT and three actions after treatment were higher than those before treatment (P<0. 05). For three actions, the improvement of MT, MUN, IC, EFA, SFA, and SAA in treatment group were better than those in control group ( P< 0. 05). Compared with pre-treatment, for the action of forearm placement on the table and elbow extension, both treatment group and control group showed an increase in EFA (P<0. 05), and a decrease in MT, MUN, IC, SFA and SA (P<0. 05). For the action of drinking water, both treatment group and control group showed an increase in EFA and SAA (P< 0. 05), and a decrease in MT, MUN, IC and SAA ( P< 0. 05). Conclusions RTA can improve the upper limb function of stroke patients. Kinect can accurately reflect the changes in upper limb function of stroke patients, and it is suitable for clinical work.
