Objective To explore the influence of pithy formula of diet and exercise on patients with metabolic syndrome. Methods A total of 240 patients with metabolic syndrome from March 2010 to March 2014 were randomly divided into pithy formula group (n=120) and control group (n=120).Patients in the control group were given conventional education of diet and exercise of metabolic syndrome, while patients in the pithy formula group were given pithy formula of diet and exercise, exercise training and food model and doing interactive education. Before and after the intervention, fasting blood glucose, 2 hours postprandial blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, free fatty acid, triglyceride, diet and exercise score, life mode intervention compliance score of two groups in sixth month were observed and compared. Results Compared with patients before intervention, fasting blood glucose, 2 hours postprandial blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, free fatty acid, triglyceride of patients in the two groups were reduced 6 months after intervention, while the degree of reduce was statistically in pithy formula group (P<0.05).No significant difference was found in the scores of diet and exercise, life mode intervention compliance between two groups ( P >0.05 ).Six months after intervention, diet and exercise scores of metabolic syndrome ( 86.5 ±9.7 vs 67.2 ±9.2 ) , intervention compliance scores of mode of life ( 26.6 ±5.2 vs 24.6 ±5.1 ) of patients in pithy formula group were significantly increased than that before the intervention and control group [(86.5 ±9.7 vs 79.4 ±8.5), (26.6 ±5.2 vs 24.9 ±5.0)](t=15.814,3.008,6.030,2.581,respectively;P<0.01).Conclusions Pithy formula of diet and exercise has positive influence on patients with metabolic syndrome which can improve the patients’ condition and compliance with diet and exercise.

Objective To discuss the application effects of nurse-leading care program in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods A total of 68 cases of diabetic patients in our hospital were selected as observation group (implementation of nurse-led care programs) from January to May 2014, while 66 cases of diabetic patients in our hospital were selected as control group ( given conventional nursing care) from August 2013 to December 2013. The comparison of the two groups were carried out about nursing treatment compliance, self-care ability and life quality. Results The patients in the observation group after interventions, the score of compliance about blood sugar monitoring, medication taking, regular exercise, reasonable control of healthy eating, pathoglycemia handling, foot care, smoking cessation, complication prevention scores were significantly higher than those of the control group (t= -3. 659,-3. 524,-3. 869,-4. 569,-2. 568,-4. 023,-3. 759,-3. 214; P < 0. 01 ). The patients′ healthy education level, self-nursing care, self conception, self-responsibility and quality of life in the observation group improved. Conclusions Nurse-leading care program can improve the patients′treatment compliance, self-care ability and life quality of patients.

Objective:
Subthreshold attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has been suggested to be a “morbid condition” which also needs medical attention.
Methods:
The present study recruited 89 children with subthreshold ADHD (sADHD), 115 children with diagnosed ADHD (cADHD), and 79 healthy controls (HC) to explore the clinical manifestation, executive functions (EFs) of sADHD, and the caregiver strain. The clinical manifestation was evaluated through clinical interviews and parent-reports. Executive functions were assessed both experimentally and ecologically. Caregiver strain was measured by a parent-reported questionnaire.
Results:
For the clinical manifestation, both sADHD and cADHD indicated impairments when compared with HC. The comorbidities and the scaled symptoms indicated that the externalizing behaviors were relatively less serious in sADHD than cADHD, whereas the internalizing behaviors between two groups were comparable. For ecological EFs, sADHD scored between cADHD and HC in inhibition and working memory. For experimental EFs, sADHD was comparable to cADHD in inhibition, shifting, and was worse than cADHD in verbal working memory. For the caregiver strain, all scores of sADHD were between that in cADHD and that in HC.
Conclusion
Our present findings supported the suggestion of subthreshold ADHD as “morbid condition,” which should be treated with caution in clinical practice, especially for the internalizing behaviors and some key components of EFs.

Objective:To investigate the post-traumatic stress response in women with unintended pregnancy termination and analyze its related factors. Methods:Totally 388 women with unintended pregnancy termination from two public hospitals in Fujian were selected as the research subjects. They were assessed with the Impact of E-vent Scale-Revised(IES-R),Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS),Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)and Perinatal Grief Scale(PGS).The total score of IES-R ≥35 was positive for post-traumatic stress disorder screening. Results:The total score of IES-R was(20.6±12.4),and the positive rate of post-traumatic stress disorder screening was 16.5%.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the IES-R total scores were higher in those who thought pregnancy timing was appropriate than those who thought pregnancy timing was wrong(β=0.13),and lower in women with moderate pain during termination than in those with severe pain(β=-0.09).The IES-R total scores were positively correlated with gestational weeks, depression scores of the HADS and grief scores of the PGS(β=0.18,0.27,0.16),and negatively correlated with optimism scores of the CD-RISC(β=-0.12).Conclusion:The post-traumatic stress response of unintended termination of pregnancy is at a moder-ate level.Post-traumatic stress symptoms are more likely to occur in women who thought pregnancy timing is ap-propriate,and those with severe pain during pregnancy termination, large gestational weeks, high level of depression during pregnancy, and high level of grief after pregnancy termination.

Objective To discuss the influence of family function and social support on insulin treatment compliance in patients with diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 368 diabetic patients diagnosed using insulin treatment were selected between March 2013 and May 2014 in outpatient department of endocrinology department. Situations of Insulin treatment compliance, family function, social support were investigated by questionnaire. Results Insulin treatment compliance were good in 202 cases (54. 9%), poor in 120 cases (32. 6%) and very poor in 46 cases (12. 5%). The cases of different levels of family function were 183 (49. 7%) with a high level, 82 (22. 3%) with a general level and 103 (28. 0%) with dereliction of duty level. The cases of low, a general and a high level of social support were 119 (32. 3%), 108 (29. 3%) and 141 (38. 3%). Multiple regression analysis showed that the main factors influencing the compliance of insulin treatment were age, education degree, marital status, occupation, monthly income, payment methods, disease duration, family function and social support. Conclusions When the scores of family function and social support are higher, the treatment compliance is higher too. The nursing staff should improve patient's family function and social support in order to improve the patients' insulin treatment compliance, so as to improve patients'quality of life.
