Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(01):-
Objective: To make out effects of different absorbents, mositure and alcohol amount on the absorption of lipophilic extract of Rhizoma Alismatis in Jinzhe Guanxin Capsules in order to solve its preparation procedure problem. Methods: The absorbent activity and absorbed dose were determined. Results: The moisture of lipophilic extract of Rhizoma Alismatis was lower than 25%, 95% alcohol amount for every gram was 0.25~ 0.5 ml when aluminum hydroxide gel was used as an absorbent. This was the best procedure condition. Conclusion: Jinzhe Guanxin Capsule preparad by aluminum hydroxide gel conforms with the preparation quality requirement.

By using cup culture, influence of different strains (ammonium-resistant N2-fixing type, wild type, none N2-fixing type) of Klebsiella oxytoca on the growth of rice seedling was compared. It was discovered that ammonium-resistant N2 -fixing bacteria could excrete some plant growth promoting substance, which could be adsorbed by cation resin. It' s activity wouldn't be affected at 80℃. At optimal concentration, the weight of rice root and seedling were increased by

Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
Based on the physiological properties of ammonium-resistant N2-fixingbacterium ( Klebsiella oxytoca NG13/pMC73A), the fermentation technology of it was studied. The basic medium of high-density culture was established, with glucose as carbon source coupled with appropriate nitrogen source and inorganic salts. At the middle and late phase of culture, glucose and ammonia were added to supply carbon source and nitrogen source, stabilizing the pHat 6.5 ~ 6.8. Optimal level of dissolved oxygen was kept by controlling aeration and stirring rate. Bacterium number of Klebsiella oxytoca NG13/pMC73A reached 600 ~ 700 x 10s cfu/mL at the end of culture. Compared with previous technology, bacterium number was increased by more than ten-fold with a comparable culture period.

Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2017;26(5):572-576
Objective To analyze the clinical features of critically ill children with abnormal pancreatic ultrasound findings in order to explore the related risk factors for offering evidence-based diagnosis of pancreatic damage secondary to critical illness. Methods A prospective study was performed in 531 critically ill children admitted to pediatric intensive care unit(PICU) of 17 children' hospitals from January 2012 to March 2014.All patients were divided into control group(513 cases) and abnormal group(18 cases) according to the pancreatic ultrasound findings.Comparison of clinical features and biochemical indicators were made between two groups. The related risk factors associated with abnormal pancreatic ultrasound findings were analyzed by using Logistic regression analysis.ROC curves were used to evaluate the role of amylase and lipase in the diagnose of abnormal pancreatic ultrasound findings. Results The incidence of abnormal pancreatic ultrasound findings in critically ill children was 3.39%, the average age of abnormal group was significantly older than that in control group (P<0.01).There were not statistically significant differences in gender and primary disease between two groups. The incidence of hypotension was 22.2% and the incidence of abdominal muscle tension was 16.7% in abnormal group, which were statistically higher than those in control group (P<0.05).The levels of calcium, albumin of abnormal group were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.01), and levels of serum amylase, lipase, lactate dehydrogenase in abnormal group were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.01).The risk factors associated with abnormal pancreatic ultrasound findings were age, blood pressure, calcium, amylase.Area under the ROC curve of abnormal pancreatic ultrasound findings determined by amylase and lipase were 0.803 and 0.745,respectively (P<0.05).The sensitivity was 0.667, specificity was 0.881 when the serum amylase was 101.5 U/L, the sensitivity was 0.722, specificity was 0.928 when the serum lipase was 96.9 U/L.Conclusions The incidence of abnormal pancreatic ultrasound findings was rather low in critically ill children. The risk factors associated with abnormal pancreatic ultrasound findings were hypotension, hypocalcemia, and hyperamylasemia. The elevated serum amylase and lipase might be the most likely factors associtaed with abnormal pancreatic ultrasound findings.

Objective To evaluate the effect of gamma irradiation on the proliferation, differentiation, and mineralization of murine osteoblastic cells, and to investigate the related molecular mechanism. Methods Osteoblastic cells were irradiated by different doses (0,0.5,1.0,2.0,5.0 Gy)of 137Cs γ-rays.Cell morphology was observed with a microscopy, cell viability was analyzed by MTT assay, and ALP activity was analyzed by the methods of enzyme histochemistry and PNPP.Meanwhile, gene expressions of ALP,osteocalcin (OC),collagen Ⅰ,osteoprotegerin (OPG) and receptor activator of nuclear factor-kB ligand (RANKL) were measured by semi-quantified RT-PCR.Results Cell viability decreased with the radiation doses over 1.0 Gy ( t =6.197 - 18.677,P < 0.05 ).After radiation with a dose over 2.0 Gy,the cell number and the junctions of cell protrusions decreased, the cells had low refractivity and the activity and mineralization ability of ALP were also inhibited ( t =2.790 -2l.374,P <0.05).In addition, the expressions of ALP and OC mRNA were down-regulated significantly (t =3.563 -16.508,P < 0.05) when the radiation dose was higher than 0.5 Gy,and the expressions of OPG,OPG/RANKL mRNA were down-regulated ( t =12.942,4.954,P < 0.05 ) at 5 Gy.But the expressions of collagen Ⅰ and RANKL mRNA were not affected by irradiation. Conclusions The osteoblastic cells were significantly influenced by γ-irradiation,including morphological changes, inhibition of cell proliferation, differentiation and mineralization ability. Meanwhile,mRNA expressions of ALP and OC were downregulated.OPG/RANKL may be a main pathway of osteoblastic cell damage under high dose radiation.

Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
The ability to induce hypersensity on leaves of tomato and the stability of double-plasmid of an harpin-producing, nitrogen-fixing engineered strain E4 were tested. Hypelsensitivity-inducing experiment indicated that the time and density of hypersensitivity-induction of E4 was similar to those of DH5, the positive control of pCPP430. Although E4 took the same time to induce hypersensitivity as 308R, another positive control of pCPP430, it induced weaker hypersen- sitivity on tobacco leaves. On tomato leaves, there was no difference in time and density of hypersensitivity between E4 and 308R (pCPP430). Results revealed that the two plasmids, pCPP430 and pMC73A, were unstable in host bacteria, with the losing rate of 100% at the 48th generation. The emergence probability of bacteria with either pCPP430 or pMC73A was almost the same.
