OBJECTIVE To report the investigation on validating clinical moist sterilizer by applying wireless thermo-loggers in accordance with the advanced Euro and British standards.METHODS The validation had been implemented with microbiological tests and thermometric tests to measure the temperature distribution of the chamber of sterilizer,the temperature and time relation inside the tested package of small and challenge loads,the pressure of the chamber and the temperature beside the drainage.RESULTS The measurements presented the relation between temperature and time measurements of the spots inside the chamber of the tested sterilization loads.CONCLUSIONS The measurement results indicate directly the operation condition and the temperature-time relation inside sterilization loads.These measurements are helpful for controlling sterilization quality.The results of microbiological tests are negative,which are consistent with that of thermomeric tests.

Aim To explore the inhibitory effect of li-gustrazine combined with paeonol on rat liver fibrosis induced by CCl4 and its mechanisms,so as to provide new treatment strategies for liver fibrosis in clinical. Methods Cleaning laboratory male SD rats were ran-domly divided into blank control group,model group (CCl4 ),ligustrazine group,paeonol group and combi-nation group (ligustrazine+paeonol).HE staining was used to observe the pathological change.Masson stai-ning and Sirius red staining was used to observe the collagen deposition.The levels of serum ALT,AST, ALP and hydroxyproline were detected by automatic bi-ochemistry analyzer.Western blot detected the markers of liver fibrosis.HSC-T6 cell was divided into model group,ligustrazine group,paeonol group and combina-tion group.The protein and gene expression of inflam-mation and apoptosis pathway was analyzed by Western blot and real time-PCR.Results Ligustrazine com-bined with paeonol could significantly improve liver tis-sue pathology changes caused by CCl4 .It could reduce serum ALT, AST, ALP and hydroxyproline levels. Moreover,it could also inhibit liver fibrosis marker protein expression,and thus reduce the deposition of collagen fibers.The effect was better than that in sin-gle intervention group.Combination group could inhib-it the inflammatory pathways related protein expression in HSC cells and promote the apoptosis of HSC cells. Conclusion Ligustrazine in combination with paeonol has significant anti-fibrosis effect,and the effect is bet-ter than both single intervention.The effect may be due to the interference with TNF-α/NF-κB pathway in the HSC cells,which promotes its apoptosis and inhib-its the generation of extracellular matrix.

Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of BRMS1 ( breast cancer metastasis suppressorl ) protein in colon cancer.Methods The expression of BRMS1 protein was detected by using EliVision immunohistochemical techniques in 46 cases of colon cancer,and adjacent non cancerous colon tissues.The clinical significance with histopathologic records was aralyzed.Results The expression levels of BRMS1 ( 34.8％ ) in the colon cancer tissues was significantly lower than those of adjacent non cancerous colon tissues( x2 =23.92,P ＜0.01 ).The expression of BRMSl was significantly correlated with tumor size,clinical stage,and lymph node status (x2 =6.02,4.28,4.35,all P＜0.01) ;BRMS1 had no correlation with age,pathological type.Conclusion BRMS1 might synergistically promote the metastasis of colon cancer.Detection of the expression of BRMS1 may be hdpful in determineing the prognosis of colon cancer.

Objective To research the therapeutic effect of vitamin E in prevention and treatment of anemia in premature children.Methods We investigated 90 cases of premature children admitted to the neonatal ward of our hospital from December 2010 to December 2011.According to hospital successively order these premature were randomly divided into control group (Group A),high-dose group (Group B),low-dose group (Group A).Group A including 30 cases,subcutaneous injection of erythropoietin(EPO) from the 7th days after admission,750IU/kg weekly for 3 times,for 4 weeks.At the same time,plus iron 6mg/(kg·d).On the basis of the above-mentioned control treatment,oral administration of different doses of vitamin E was in the treatment group,for 4 weeks.Group B including 30 cases was given vitamin E 15mg/(kg·d).Group C including 30 cases was given vitamin E 2.5mg/(kg· d).The changes of each group during the treatment in hematocrit (Hct),hemoglobin(Hb),red blood cell(RBC),reticulocyte(Ret) and the changes of serum concentrations of vitamin E before and after treatment were observed.Results Hct,Hb,RBC,Ret in group B,group C patients were both improved.The improvement of the indicators was better than that of group A (P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference between the improvement of each index of Group B and Group C(P ＞ 0.05).Serum concentrations of vitamin E after treatment in group B and group C patients were significantly higher and the difference was statistically significant(P ＜ 0.05).Serum concentration of vitamin E in group A didn't increase obviously.Conclusion Additional small doses of VitE should be given during EPO prevention of anemia in premature children.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the pathological factors of syndrome pathomechanism through studying the correlation between syndromes of posthepatitic cirrhosis and biological parameters. METHODS: Clinical information of three hundred and fifty-five patients with posthepatitic cirrhosis was collected and the database was established. Parameters with statistical significance were analyzed with multi-factor regression analysis to investigate the main influencing factors of the syndromes of posthepatitic cirrhosis. RESULTS: Formulae of six syndromes, including syndrome of yin deficiency of liver and kidney, syndrome of damp heat, syndrome of stagnated heat smoldering, syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney, syndrome of stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency and syndrome of blood stasis due to qi deficiency, were established with stepwise regression analysis. CONCLUSIONS: One of the pathophysiological bases of syndrome of blood stasis due to qi deficiency in cirrhosis is synthetic dysfunction of hepatocytes. The pathophysiological basis of syndrome of damp heat is inflammatory injury, which is also syndrome of stagnated heat smoldering in cirrhosis patients. The relationship between syndrome of yin deficiency of liver and kidney and stasis and damp heat may be the pathophysiological basis of the posthepatitic cirrhosis..

Objective To analyze the association of polymorphisms of estrogen receptor (ER) α and β genes with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in Chinese Han cohort of Yunnan Province.Methods XbaⅠ and Pvu Ⅱ of ERα gene,Rsa Ⅰ and Alu Ⅰ of ERβ gene were typed by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) in 697 SLE patients and 638 healthy controls.The frequency distribution of the alleles and genotypes were analyzed by Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium test and x2 test.Results ① For ERα gene,the frequency of minor allele of Pvu Ⅱ C in SLE patients was significantly higher than healthy controls (x2=15.427,P=0.001);the allele frequencies of XbaⅠ in SLE patients showed no significant difference compared with healthy controls (P＞0.05).The frequency of minor genotype of Pvu Ⅱ CC in SLE patients was significantly higher than healthy controls (x2=17.371,P=0.011).The frequency of two locus haplotype AATT in SLE patients was significantly lower than healthy controls (x2=6.333,P=0.012);the frequency of the two locus haplotype AACC in SLE patients was significantly higher than healthy controls (x2=7.771,P=0.038).② For ERβ gene,the frequency of minor allele RsaⅠ A in SLE patients was significantly lower than healthy controls (x2=12.595,P=0.013);the allele frequencies of Alu Ⅰ in SLE patients showed no significant differences compared with the healthy controls (P＞0.05).The frequency of minor genotype AA of Rsa Ⅰ in SLE patients was significantly higher than healthy controls (x2=41.456,P=0.000).The frequency of two locus haplotype AAGG in SLE patients was significantly higher than healthy controls (x2=37.063,P=0.000).The frequency of the two locus haplotype AAGA in SLE patients was significantly lower than healthy controls(x2=21.086,P=0.001).③ Pvu Ⅱ C was related with splenomegaly (x2=4.212,P＜0.05).The two locus haplotype AGTC of Xba Ⅰ and Pvu Ⅱ was related with edema (x2=7.898,P＜0.05).Conclusion There are associations between the polymorphisms of ERα and ERβ genes and SLE.The ERα and ERβ genes may be the susceptible genes for SLE in Yunnan Han Chinese Cohort.

Objective To introduce the treatment efficacy of using allograft muscle ligament anatomical to rebuild anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) of knee joint under the arthroscopy.Methods Sixty-two cases patients with ACL rupture in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction under arthroscopy.Allograft ligaments were used as graft,a bone tunnel was established in the proximal tibia and distal femur,and the graft was fixed by the extrusion screw.After the operation,the knee joint was fixed for 12 weeks,and the subjective evaluation was carried out according to the Lysholm and Larson knee score standards;in order to assess the stability of the ligament and the functional recovery of the knee joint,objective evaluation was carried out according to Lachman test in patients.Results The preoperative average Lysholm scale was (43.1±2.1) points,the final average score of 2 years after the reconstruction of the ligament was (91.0+2.3) points,there was significant difference (t=3.460,P=0.001).The preoperative average Larson scale was (41.0±2.9) points,the final average score of 2 years after the reconstruction of the ligament was (90.1±3.5) points,there was significant difference (t=3.232,P=0.001).Lachman test results were negative in 62 patients at the end of the review.No serious postoperative complications occurred,no knee infection,deep vein thrombosis and stiffness.All the patients can be completely straight 1 year after operation,knees up to 120 degrees.All patients were satisfied with the function at the end of the follow-up,no joint instability,no re-rupture occurred during the follow-up period.Conclusion Using the allogeneic single beam anatomy of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction under arthroscopy can obtain satisfactory clinical efficacy.
