Objective To report a case of lymphomatoid papulosis(LyP)followed by mycosis fun-goides(MF)during his27years course and determine whether these diseases are clonally related.Methods Characteristics of clinicopathology and immunophenotype of skin tissues of different phases of the patients were compared.Simultaneously,clonal T-cell receptor gene rearrangement of skin lesion tissues and blood specimens were detected by means of polymerase chain reaction and Southern blot analysis.Results A dis-tinct clinical and pathological feature was shown in this case of LyP followed by MF.The proliferating lym-phocytes in LyP and MF were mature T helper lymphocytes,and with same T-cell clone.Conclusion LyP followed by MF displays a same T-cell clone.The clonal T-cell is irrelevant to the biological behavior of these diseases.

Objective To report the first case of cutaneous type adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma(cATLL) in China. Methods The skin lesion was examined by histopathology and direct immunofluorescence (DIF), and the immunophenotype was also studied. ELISA and Western blot were used to test the serum antibodies to HTLV-Ⅰ, and HTLV-Ⅰproviral DNA of lymphoid cells was detected by PCR. Results The patient had polymorphic skin lesions including papules, plaques, and bullae with tense or flaccid walls. Histopathogical examination showed subepidermal bullae, and there were small-to-medium-sized atypical lymphoid cell infiltrations in the dermal papilla in the bottom, and border of the bulla. CD45+ and CD45RO+ staining, and negative DIF were observed in the atypical lymphoid cells. The serum antibodies to HTLV-Ⅰ, and proviral DNA of HTLV-Ⅰin the blood lymphoid cells were detected. The patient died with a disease course of one year and ten months. Conclusion ATLL is not extremely rare in China, and cATLL may also exist.

Objective: To analyze the status quo of assanation and ethics courses and their social requirement, thus to explore a scientific mode for the course setting; Method: The course setting status quo of assanation and ethics is analyzed among 18 colleges in which the nursing speciality is set up. A questionnaire was also conducted to investigate students' inclination towards politics-sorted courses, and relevant data were analyzed. Results: The establishing rate of assanation courses in the higher professional colleges is higher than that in the comprehensive universities. The most favorable subjects among freshmen are the Chinese national political theories, and assanation & ethics, while the counterparts among seniors are assanation & ethics, law basis, and philosophy. Seniors have an obvious higher desire for the course of assanation & ethics compared with freshmen (P

Fourteen compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of 90% EtOH extracts of the dried fruits of Alpinia oxyphylla by silica gel, MCI, RP-18, Sephadex LH-20, TLC and semi-preparative HPLC column chromatography. Their structures were identified by HR-ESI-MS, UV, IR, NMR, ECD and X ray single crystal diffraction spectroscopic data as: (2R,5R,7R,10S)-2,7-dihydroxyl-eudesmane-3(4),11(12)-diene (1), α-rotunol (2), diketone I (3), (1S,4S,5R,7S)-1-hydroxyl-eremophilane-9(10),11(12)-diene-8-one (4), cyperusol A₁ (5), (6R,9S,10S)-10-hydroxyl-11,12,13-trinor-cadinane-4(5)-ene-3-one (6), (2E,4E)-6-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylhepta-2,4-dienal (7), oxyphyllacinol (8), yakuchinone A (9), (5R)-5-hydroxy-1,7-diphenylhept-3-heptanone (10), (5S)-5-hydroxy-7-(4″-hydroxyphenyl)-1-phenylhept-3-heptanone (11), (5S)-5-hydroxy-7-(4″-hydroxyl-3″-methoxyphenyl)-1-phenyl-3-heptanone (12), 7-(4″-hydroxy-3″-methoxyphenyl)-1-phenyl-3,5-heptadione (13), bis-(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate (14). Compounds 1-6 were sesquiterpenoids in which compound 1 is a new eudesmane sesquiterpenoid and compound 7 was a monoterpenoid. Compounds 8-13 were diarylheptanoids, and compounds 2-6 and 14 were isolated from A.oxyphylla for the first time. The experiments on H₂O₂ induced SH-SY5Y cells showed that compounds 2, 6, 7, 12 and 13 had neuroprotective effects at low and medium concentrations. In particular, compound 6 showed obvious neuroprotective effect at low, medium and high concentrations whose cell viability was higher than that of the positive control.

Maintaining genetic diversity is a major issue in conservation biology. In this study, we demonstrate the differences of genetic diversity levels between wild and captive individuals of Elliot's Pheasant Syrmaticus ellioti. Wild individuals showed a higher genetic diversity level than that of the captive individuals. Nucleotide diversity and haplotype diversity of wild individuals were 0.00628 and 0.993, while those of captive individuals were 0.00150 and 0.584 respectively. Only 3 haplotypes of mtDNA control region sequence were identified among 36 captive individuals, while 16 unique haplotypes were identified among the 17wild individuals in this study. One captive haplotype was shared by a wild individual from Anhui Province. It is concluded that a low number of founders was the likely reason for the lower level genetic diversity of the captive group. Careful genetic management is suggested for captive populations, particularly of such an endangered species, to maintain genetic variability levels.

Objective To study the effect of baicalin on the apoptosis and cell cycle of colorectal cancer cells in orthotopic transplantation mice model with mismatch repair gene hMLH1 deficient.Methods Sixty orthotopic transplantation mice models of human colorectal cancer cell line HCT1 16 expressing green fluorescent protein (GFP) were established,and were randomly divided into the control group and the 50,100,200 mg/kg baicalin groups according to the random number table.Mice in the 50,100,200 mg/kg baicalin groups received intragastric infusion of baicalin at the corresponding dosages twice a day,while mice in the control group received intragastric infusion of 5％ NaHCO3.Cell cycles and apoptotic rates of the HCT116-GFP cells were detected by flow cytometry and TUNEL method respectively.Differences between the 2 groups were analyzed using the analysis of variance or chi-square test,and differences within each group were analyzed using the LSD-t test.Results The orthotopic transplantation mice models of human colorecta] cancer were successfully constructed,and there was no significant difference in the body weight of the mice and tumor size among the 4 groups (F =0.343,0.107,P ＞0.05).The proportion of HCT116-GFP cells in the G2/M phase in the 50,100,200 mg/kg baicalin groups were 22％±6％,18％±7％ and 19％±6％,which were significantly higher than 7％ ±5％ of the control group (t =5.421,3.483,3.575,P ＜0.05).There were no significant differences in the proportion of HCT116-GFP cells in the G2/M phase among the 50,100,200 mg/kg baicalin groups (F =1.291,P ＞ 0.05).The apoptotic rates of HCT116-GFP cells in the 50,100,200 mg/kg baicalin groups were significantly higher than the control group (t =7.163,3.703,2.688,P ＜0.05).The apoptotic rate of the 50 mg/kg baicalin group was significantly higher than that of the 200 mg/kg baicalin group (t =2.259,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Baicalin significantly inhibits tumor growth in the orthotopic transplantation mice model with mismatch repair gene hMLH1 deficient.After treated with baicalin,the cell cycle is arrested at the G2/M phase,thus the tumor growth is inhibited.

Objective To investigate the appropriate compatibility of appropriate compatibility of sevoflurane and propofol for patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) undergoing posterior lumbar interbody fusion in order to protect their cognitive function.Methods Eighty patients, 41 males, 39 females, aged 65-75 years, BMI 17-26 kg/m2, ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ, scheduled to undergo elective posterior lumbar interbody fusion, were to be scored according to Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA), mini mental state examination (MMSE), dementia scale (CDR) and daily living ability scale (ADL) to identify patients with MCI before the surgery.They were randomly assigned to 4 groups (n=20 each) using a random number table: TCI propofol 2.0-2.5 μg/ml group (group P), TCI propofol 1.2 μg/ml+sevoflurane 0.6 MAC group (group PS1), TCI propofol 0.6 μg/ml+sevoflurane 0.9 MAC group (group PS2), 1.0-1.5 MAC sevoflurane group (group S).MoCA and MMSE were used to evaluate the cognitive function of patients 1 d before the operation (T0), after patients become wide-awake (T1), 3 d and 7 d after operation (T2 and T3).Apolipoprotein J (ApoJ) concentration related to cognitive function in blood samples, which were drawn at T0-T3 would be measured with ELISA method.Results Compared with T0, the scores of MMSE and MoCA in four groups decreased significantly (P＜0.05) at T1, the scores of MMSE and MoCA in group S decreased significantly (P＜0.05) at T2;compared with T1, the score of MMSE in the four groups increased significantly at T2, T3 (P＜0.05).The scores of MMSE at T1, T3 in group S decreased significantly compared with groups P, PS1 and PS2 (P＜0.05).The scores of MoCA at T2, T3 in group S decreased significantly compared with groups P, PS1 and PS2 (P＜0.05).Compared with T0, the concentration of plasma ApoJ in the four groups increased significantly at T1 (P＜0.05).Compared with T1, the concentration of plasma ApoJ in the four groups decreased significantly at T2 and T3 (P＜0.05).Compared with group PS1, the concentration of plasma ApoJ at T1, T3 increased significantly in groups S and group PS2 (P＜0.05).Conclusion TCI propofol 1.2 μg/ml combined with 0.6 MAC sevoflurane group is the appropriate compatibility of sevoflurane and propofol for patients with MCI undergoing posterior lumbar interbody fusion,because it has less negative influence on cognitive function and lower concentration of plasma ApoJ.

Abstract: Objective　To explore the clinical characteristics of nucleic acid negative newborns delivered by pregnant women infected with SARS-CoV-2 (Omicron variant BA. 5.1.3) in Sanya area, and to provide evidence for understanding its clinical characteristics. Methods　A retrospective analysis was performed on 14 neonates with negative nucleic acid delivered by pregnant women who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 (Omicron variant BA.5.1.3) in Sanya Central Hospital (the Third People's Hospital of Hainan Province) from June 2022 to September 2022 (observation group, n=14). The corresponding nucleic acid-negative newborns delivered by pregnant women detected negative with SARS-CoV-2 (Omicronon variant strain BA.5.1.3) were set as the control group (n=56), and the general data and clinical characteristics of neonates in the two groups were compared. Results　There was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group in pregnancy diabetes, pregnancy induced hypertension, gestational pre-eclampsia, fetal intrauterine distress, premature rupture of membranes (P>0.05); there was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group in terms of sex, gestational age, birth weight, age, mode of delivery, birth Apgar score, heart screening, pulmonary disease, glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, thalassemia, breast milk jaundice, hemolytic jaundice (P>0.05). The bilirubin level, blue light irradiation cases and the duration of blue light irradiation of the newborns in the observation group at 7 days after birth were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05); the ratio of blood oxygen saturation ≥ 90% in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (21.43% vs 89.29%, P<0.05), and the ratio of blood oxygen saturation occasionally<90% was higher than that in the control group (57.14% vs 10.71%, P<0.05). The ratio of blood oxygen saturation<90% had no significant difference compared with that in the control group (7.14% vs 0, P>0.05), and the ratio of blood oxygen saturation reduced to the required oxygen uptake was higher than that in the control group (14.29% vs 0, P<0.05). Conclusions　The jaundice manifestation of the nucleic acid-negative newborns delivered by pregnant women infected with SARS-CoV-2 (Omicronon variant strain BA.5.1.3) in Sanya area is relatively obvious, with blood oxygen saturation easily lower than 90% and even requiring oxygen inhalation in severe cases.
