OBJECTIVE:To estimate the uncertainty in the content determination of azithromycin granules by microbiological method.METHODS:The origin and degree of uncertainty in the content determination of azithromycin granules by microbiological method were analyzed and evaluated in accordance with the standard given in JJF1059-1999 "Evaluation and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement".RESULTS:The expanded uncertainty was 5 420.0 IU/bag,and the results of the determination can be expressed as(103 838.0?5 420.0)IU/bag.The uncertainty was chiefly originated from method design,followed by solution dilution.CONCLUSIONS:The degree of uncertainty for the content determination of antibiotic drugs by microbiological method can be effectively reduced by suitable method design and reducing the times of dilution.

Objective To establish the procedural pain nursing care protocols to improve the management of perioperative pain in elderly patients after total knee replacement,as well as to relief postoperative pain,and promote the rehabilitation.Methods 82 patients were randomly divided into the control group (45 cases) and the intervention group (37 cases).The control group was controlled by usual care,and the intervention group was offered with the standardized pain nursing care.The scores for postoperative pain,the satisfaction for analgesia,the complications associated with analgesia and the injection rate of Dolantin at 24,48,72h postoperatively were compared between two groups.Results The score for postoperative pain at rest in the intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group at 24 h postoperatively,but there was no statistical difference at 48 h and 72 h postoperatively.Pain scores during passive activity at 24,48h,and 72h postoperatively were significantly lower in the intervention group when compared with that of the control group.The rates of side effects at 24,48,72h postoperatively in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group.The injection rate of Dolantin in the control group were significantly higher than that in the intervention group.The score for both analgesia and life satisfactory in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the intervention group at 24,48,72h postoperatively.Conclusions Procedural pain nursing care can reduce the pestoperative pain,complications and the injection rate of Dolantin in patients after total knee replacement.It can also improve elderly patients' satisfaction of analgesia and promote early recovery of their joint function.

Clinical data of 150 pregnant women,who were confirmed with maternal thyrotoxicosis during January 2010 to January 2014,including 104 cases of gestational transient thyrotoxicosis (GTT) and 46 cases of Graves disease (GD),were retrospectively analyzed;65 normal pregnant women served as controls.Patients with GD had lower body mass index (BMI) than those with GTF and normal controls [(18 ± 5),(20 ± 4) and (22 ± 4) kg/m2,respectively,P ＜ 0.05].The frequency of thyrotoxic history and hyperthyroidism symptoms in GD patients were significantly higher than that in GTT patients [33％ (15/46) vs.3％ (3/104) and 52％ (24/46) vs.15％ (16/104),respectively,both P ＜0.01].In the first trimester,patients with GD presented lower TSH levels than those with GTT and controls(M =0.021,0.045and 1.660 mU/L,respectively,P ＜ 0.05) and higher free T4 (FT4) (M =24.99 vs.19.99 pmol/L,P ＜0.05),free T3 (FT3) (7.10 vs.5.85 pmol/L,P ＜ 0.05),thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) (99.22vs.4.54 kU/L,P ＜ 0.05) and thyrotrophin receptor antibody (TRAb) (5.28 vs.0.11 U/L,P ＜ 0.05)levels than patients with GTT.In the second trimester,there were 67％ (70/104) GTT patientsand 4％ (2/46) GD patients had normal TSH;and FT4 returned to normal in 82％ (85/104) GTT patientsand 17％ (8/46) GD patients.In the third trimester,there were 100％ (104/104) GTT patients and 9％ (4/46)GD patients had normal TSH;and FT4 returned to normal in 100％ (104/104) GTT patients and 48％ (22/46)GD patients.

Objective To raise the awareness of the glandularis ureteritis. Methods Five cases with glandularis ureteritis confirmed by pathological examination from Jan 2001 to Jun 2012 were reviewed. The diagnosis was assessed on histopathologic studies in all. The clinical manifestations, the diagnosis and treatment were discussed. Results Resections of the affected ureter and ureteroplasty were undertaken for 2 patients. Ureteronephrectomy was performed for 2 patients because of serious hydronephrosis due to obstruction. Electrofulguration via-ureteroscopy was carried out for another patient. All patients have been well and without recurrence on following up for 15 to 152 months, with an average of 86.6 months. Conclusion Glandularis ureteritis is not frequently seen and the etiopathogenesis is not yet clear. Biopsy is very important for suspected neoplasm of ureter before performing nephrectomy.

Objective: To study the effect of salvia miltiorrhiza on mitochondria respiratory function of hepatic cells and oxygen radicals in rats with burn.Methods: Ninety-six Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into normal control group,model group and salvia miltiorrhiza group.Rats in model group and salvia miltiorrhiza group were subjected to a 20% total body surface area(TBSA) full-thickness thermal injury.The levels of cytochrome aa3,cytochrome C,energy production and superoxide dismutase(SOD) in mitochondria of hepatic cells were dynamically determined at 1,2 and 6 hours after injury.Results: ①The levels of cytochrome aa3 in model group and salvia miltiorrhiza group did not change obviously within 2 hours after burn,while they were much lower than that in normal control group at 6 hours after burn,and the level of cytochrome aa3 in salvia miltiorrhiza group was obviously higher than that in model group(all P

AIM: To detect the effects of Xinmailing Solution and MK-801 on injury of neuronal cell induced by glutamate. METHODS: Cultured neuronal cell injuried by glutamate was prepared and the content of malondialdehyde and nitrite in cell supernatant was measured. Morphology changes were also observed with discrepancy microscope at the same time. RESULTS: Xinmailing Solution and MK-801 attenuated cell injury induced by glutamate,and inhibited increase in malondialdehyde and nitrite in cell supernatant. CONCLUSION: Xinmailing Solution had a protective effect on neuronal cell at cell level.

Objective To evalvate the efficacy of patient-controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA) combined with ganciclovir for treatment of postherpetic neuralgia in patients.Methods A total of 60 patients with PHN,aged 51-86 yr,of ASA physical status Ⅰ-Ⅲ,were randomly assigned into 2 groups (n =30 each) using a random number table:ganciclovir group (F group) and PCEA combined with ganciclovir group (FB group).In FB and F groups,ganciclovir 0.25 g was infused intravenously twice a day for 7 consecutive days.In addition,continuous PCEA was performed simultaneously in group FB and the PCEA solution contained ropivacaine 300 mg,prednisolone 20 mg and dezocine 10 mg in 250 ml of normal saline.At 1 day before treatment (T0) and 7 days,1 month,and 6 months after treatment (T1-3),pain was assessed with visual analogue scale (VAS),and the quality of life (QOL) score and pair relief rate were recorded.Results VAS and QOL scores were significantly lower at T1-3 than at T0 in the two groups.Compared with F group,VAS scores were significantly decreased,and QOL score and pain relief rate were increased at T1-3 in FB group.Conclusion PCEA combined with ganciclovir can effectively alleviate postherpetic neuralgia in the patients.

Objective To study AngⅡ induced apoptosis of HUVECs and to observe the protective effect of serum contained huangqi on endothelial cell.Methods ECV-304 cells were randomly divided into control group,AngⅡgroup and huangqi group.In the control group,cells were cultured for 18 h,and the concentration of AngⅡ were 0 mol/L,1×10-6 mol/L,1×10-5 mol/L and 1×10-4 mol/L.The cell proliferation was measured by MTT assay.Electron microscope was used to observe the change of HU-VECs.Ultrastructure of HUVECs induced by AngⅡ was observed by electron microscope.In the huangqi group,serum contained huangqi of different concentration were added into the medium and cultured for 24 h,then AngⅡ of 1×10-4 mol/L was included and cultured for 18 h,and the apoptosis ratio induced by AngⅡwas measured by flow cytometry.Results AngⅡof different con-centration could all significantly inhibit HUVECs proliferation.AngⅡof different concentration could all induce endothelial cell ap-optosis.HUVECs apoptosis was observed by electron microscope.HUVECs apoptosis induced by AngⅡcould be inhibited by ser-um contained huangqi.Conclusion Serum contained huangqi could protect endothelial cells.
