1.The advancement of microRNA regulating epithelial-mesenchymal transition in cholangiocarcinoma
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2017;30(6):665-668
Cholangiocarcinoma is a highly malignant tumor which originates from bile duct epithelial cells, and its invasion and metastasis is an important factor affecting the prognosis of patients and the main causes of the high mortality.Epithelial-mesenchymal transition is a reversible biological process of transition from epithelial phenotype to stromal cell phenotype, which is closely related to tumor invasion and metastasis. The microRNA is an endogenous non-coding RNA with a sequence of 20~25 nucleotides, which participates in the occurrence and development of tumor, especially in the progress of tumor invasion and metastasis by complementary base pairing with the 3'-untranslated region (3'-UTR) of the target gene at the post-transcriptional level.Herein, we present the mechanism of microRNA regulating epithelial-mesenchymal transition and its effect on the invasion and metastasis of cholangiocarcinoma.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture at the three tongue points plus tuina in treating hypersalivation in cerebral palsy.Method Sixty patients with hypersalivation due to cerebral palsy were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened predominantly by acupuncture at the three tongue points plus tuina, while the control group was by tuina alone. The clinical efficacies were compared between the two groups.Result The total effective rate was 96.7% in the treatment group versus 83.3% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture at the three tongue points plus tuina is an effective approach in treating hypersalivation in cerebral palsy.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2016;15(10):1029-1032
Cancer cells can secrete programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) to bind with inhibitory regulatory protein of programmed death 1 (PD-1) which lies on T-cell lymphocyte.Consequently, the activity of the T cells reduces, and the apoptosis cells increase. It's one of the pathways of newly discovered tumor immune escape.Primary hepatic cancer is one of the common malignant tumors of digestive system and closely related to viral hepatitis B in China.PD-1/PD-L1 pathway plays an important role in tumorigenesis and development of primary liver cancer. In this paper, the research updates of PD-1/PD-L1 in primary hepatic carcinoma were summarized.

Objectives In order to study the endogenous opioid polypeptides involved in pathogenesis of epidemic encephalitis-B and the clinical therapeutic efficacy. Methods ①Leucine-enkephalin,?-endophin and Dynorphin levels in plasma and and CSF of patients with epidemic encephalitis-B during critical stage and convalescent stage were measured by radio-immunoassay.②Naloxone therapeutic efficacy in patients with epidemic encephalitis-B were investigated. Results Opioid polypeptides levels In plasma and CSF were significantly higher in critical stage and dropped to normal levels in convalescent stage.③We demonstrated that endogenous opioid polypeptides special antagnoist agent-Naloxone was a very important therapy agent for epidemic encephalitis-B patients.Therapy group efficacy was significantly better than control group. Conclusions These results demonstrate that endogenous opioid polypeptides involves in the physiopathologic changes of epidemic encephalitis-B.
8. Effects of all-trans retinoic acid combined with gamma radiation on proliferation and apoptosis of esophageal carcinoma TE13 cells
Tumor 2012;32(8):592-598
Objective: To investigate the effects of ATRA (all-trans-retinoicacid) combined with gamma radiation on proliferation and apoptosis of human esophageal carcinoma TE13 cells, and to explore the possible mechanism. Methods: The effect of ATRA on the proliferation of TE13 cells was detected by MTT method. When the cell growth RI (inhibitory rate) reached levels of 25%, 50% and 75%, the TE13 cells were treated with the corresponding inhibitory doses of ATRA combined with 4 Gy gamma radiation. The effects of this combination intervention on cell cycle distribution and apoptosis of TE13 cells were detected by FCM (flow cytometry). The colony-formation ability and cell viability were detected using colony-formation experiment. The expression of cyclinD1 protein was detected by FCM. Results: The inhibitory effect of ATRA on the proliferation of TE13 cells was significant in a dose- and time-dependent manner. The cell growth IRs reached 22.0%, 55.1% and 71.1% at ATRA concentrations of 0.78, 6.25 and 12.5 μmol/L, respectively. The cell viability and colony-formation efficiency were significantly decreased in TE13 cells treated with ATRA in combination with 4 Gy gamma radiation, as compared with TE13 cells receiving administration of ATRA alone. The proliferative ability of TE13 cells was significantly reduced after ATRA treatment in combination with 4 Gy gamma radiation for 24 and 48 h; furthermore, the percentage of the cells arrested at phase G0/G 1 was increased accompanying with a significantly elevated apoptotic rate. Although the combination treatment (0.78 μmol/L ATRA and gamma radiation) had a weak influence on the expression of cyclinD1 protein, which was significantly decreased in other groups (6.25 and 12.5 μmol/L ATRA). Conclusion: ATRA exerts an inhibitory influence on the proliferation of TE13 cells through down-regulating cyclinD1 expression, arresting the cells at phase G0/G1, and inducing apoptosis. A higher-concentration of ATRA combined with gamma radiation can significantly decrease the expression of cyclinD1, promote G0/G1 cell cycle arrest, accelerate apoptosis, and limit the colony formation, but a lower concentration of ATRA combined with gamma radiation exerts a little influence on cyclinD1 expression, although it may accelerate apoptosis and limit the colony-formation at some periods of time after treatment. Objective To explore the effect of pacifiers plus touching intervention on venipuncture-induced pains in newborn babies. Methods Ninety two neonates undergoing venous puncturing were randomly divided into touching intervention group and pacifiers plus touching group.During and after the venipuncture, the neonatal pain score, heart rate and blood oxygen saturation were compared between the two groups. Results The degree of pain perception in the pacifiers plus touching group was significantly lower than that in the only touching group(P<0.001).During and afterpuncturing the heart rate of the pacifiers plus touching group was significantly lower than that in the only touching group. However, the blood oxygen saturation was significantly higher(P<0.05). Conclusion Pacifiers plus touching can effectively relieve venipuncture-induced pains in neonates.
