Objective To study the mechanism of mast cell increase in cellular leiomyoma of uterus.Methods Tissue sections from 30 cases of cellular leiomyoma of uterus,15 cases of leiomyosarcoma and 30 cases of ordinary leiomyoma were studied using immunohistochemical double labeling techniques.The expression of mast cell tryptase ahd Ki-67 as well as mast cell tryptase and chemotactic factors RANTES,Eotaxin,monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1),transforming growth factor-? (TGF-?)were double immunostained.Results Ki-67 in mast cells was rarely expressed in each group. Objective To explore the effect of different scan parameters and algorithm on detection of iron deposition with coexsiting fat by dual soure CT.Methods One ml homogenate of normal rat liver tissues and 1 ml iron dextran solution with different concentrations (50.000,25.000,12.500,6.250,3.125,and 1.560 mg/ml) were fully mixed respectively.The 6 test tubes were scanned by dual source CT in the mode of dual energy to gain the iron specific slope.Different concentrations of dextran iron(50,40,30,20,10,and 5 mg/ml),triglyceride(volume percent were 60％,30％,and 10％,respectively),and homogenate of normal rat liver tissues were mixed.All 18 tubes were scanned by dual source CT with 80-140 kVp and 100-140 kVp,and all these images were reconstructed by filtered back projection (FBP) and singogram affirmed iterative reconstruction(SAFIRE).Raw data were reconstructed by filtering and iterative method.△H value (△H =CT value low kVp-CT valuehigh kVp) and overlay value of three substances decomposition algorithm were measured and analyzed by t test.The Spearmen correlation was applied in iron concentration and measured values.Results Iron specific slope was found to be 1.9392.When 80-140 kVp and 100-140 kVp were applied,△H values were (198 ± 28) and (152 ± 18) HU by using FBP reconstruction,and △H values were (191 ± 23) and (149 ± 17) HU by using SAFIRE reconstruction.The differences were statistically significant(t =-2.934 and-3.492,P =0.032 and 0.017).Overlay values were (381 ±54) and (236 ±31) HU by using FBP reconstruction,and overlay values were (399 ±53) and (276 ± 43) HU by using SAFIRE reconstruction.The differences were also statistically significant (t =-5.739 and-7.949,P =0.002 and 0.001).Under the same energy portfolio but different reconstruction,both △H and overlay value showed no differences (P ＞ 0.05).Except for the conditions with 100-140 kVp tube voltage,△H had no correlation with iron solution concentration (P ＞ 0.05) under either FBP or SAFIRE reconstruction.When other reconstruction methods and tube voltage combination were used,overlay or △H value showed correlation with iron solution concentrations (r value ranged from 0.959 to 0.997,P values ＜ 0.01).Conclusions Different energy portfolios of dual source CT will act on the measured value of iron deposition.The measured values will not be affected by ways of reconstruction.For the detection of iron coexisting in fat,overlay values of material decomposition algorithm is better.

OBJECTIVETo discover the central mechanisms of antipyretic effect of moxibustion and its relationship with the acupoint sensor so as to provide the scientific evidence for "the treatment of heat syndrome with moxibustion".

METHODSEighteen New Zealand Rabbits were randomly assigned into three groups, named group A (modeling with intravenous injection of Endotoxin), group B (moxibustion at 40 degrees C after Endotoxin injection) and group C (moxibustion at 48 degrees C after Endotoxin injection), 6 rabbits in each one. The experiment was undergoing in the condition of muscular relaxation and artificial respiration for the animals. The spotlight moxibustion at constant temperature was applied to "Zhiyang" (GV 9). The discharge of heat sensitive neurons (HSNs) at the preoptic region and anterior hypothalamus (POAH) was taken as the index. The impacts of the treatment on HSNs were observed in each group.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONMoxibustion had significant antagonism to the pyrogen on its inhibition to the activity of HSNs in the thermotaxic center. As a result, the antipyretic effect was obtained. It is concluded that the effective result of moxibustion is achieved by stimulating polymodal receptors of acupoints.

This study is to observe the effect of ilexonin A (IA) on the expression of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and growth associated protein-43 (GAP-43), and neurogenesis after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in rats and explore its possible mechanism of protecting neuronal injury. Models of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) were established in SD rats. Before and after two hours ischemia-reperfusion, IA (20 and 40 mg x kg(-1)) was injected immediately and on 3, 7, 14, and 28 d once a day. The neurological severity was evaluated by neurological severity scores (NSS); neuronal injury in the boundary zone of the infarction area was evaluated by TUNEL and Niss1 staining. The expressions of bFGF and GAP-43 and neurogenesis were evaluated by Western blotting and 5-bromodeoxyuridine (Brdu) fluorescence staining, respectively. After treatment with IA, the NSS of treatment groups were lower than that of the models (3 and 7 d). The number of TUNEL positive neurons decreased and Nissl positive neurons increased at the same time (3 d). The expressions of bFGF and GAP-43 increased significantly in the boundary zone of the infarction area when compared to model group. Moreover, IA markedly enhanced the neurogenesis in the brain after ischemia-reperfusion, which revealed an increase of Brdu/NeuN positive cells in the boundary zone of the infarction area. The possible mechanism of protecting neuronal injury of IA may be related to inhibition on neuronal apoptosis, upregulation of bFGF and GAP-43, and neurogenesis in boundary zone of infarction after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion.

Objective To study the spatial distribution characteristics of liver cancer in Guangxi so as to provide evidence for the development of congol and prevention on liver cancer.Methods The average eight year morbidity was computed,using the rates of liver cancer in 2000-2007.The spatial statistics module of GIS was used to conduct spatial autocorrelation analysis.and the disease mapping Was drawn,using the Map Info 8.0 software.Results The average morbidity rate Was clustered in Guangxi in the past eight years.with Moran's I index as 0.34 and P value below 0.01.G index appeared to be 0.77 and the Pvalue Was below 0.01.Moran's I correlogram lifled up in four spaces,specifically,the cluster took place in both nlacro-scale(one to three spatial intervals,45 to 135 km real Scale)and micro-scale(16 to 18 spatial intervals,720 to 800 km real scale).When the spatial interval became 14 and real scale was 60 km.the spatial distribution of liver cancer showed the most intensive autocorrelation.Most of the regions with high morbidity would be clustered in the southwest and southern parts,along the Coastal areas of Guangxi while the regions with low morbidity clustered in the northern part of Guangxi.Conclusion Liver cancer was found un-randorely distributed and geographitally clustered in Guangxi in 2000-2007.

METHODSModels of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) were established in SD rats which were divided into 3 d, 7 d, 14 d and 28 d groups (n = 6). The neurological severity was evaluated by neurological severity scores (NSS) and scores of motor test (SMT). Neuronal injury in the boundary zone of the infarction area was evaluated by TUNEL and Nissl staining; The expressions of bFGF and GAP-43 and neurogenesis were evaluated by Western blot and 5-bromodeoxyuridine (Brdu) fluorescence staining, respectively.

RESULTSIt showed up neurologic impairment and motor dysfunction after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion in rats at 3 d, the numbers of neuron apoptosis also peaked at 3d, the protein levels of bFGF and GAP-43 were significantly increased in time-dependent manner, peaked at 7 d and then decreased gradually, meanwhile, Brdu and NeuN double fluorescence staining displayed scattered Brdu-and NeuN-positive cells in the boundary zone of the infarction area.

CONCLUSIONThese results suggest that the upregulation of bFGF and GAP-43 may contribute to the neurogenesis after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.

Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture on the expression of mitochondrial proteome in hippocampus of senescence-accelerated mouse prone g (SAMPg) mice models with Alzheimer disease (AD),and to explore the possible protective mechanism of acupuncture on mitochondria.Methods:Sixty 6-month-old male SAMP8 mice were randomly divided into an acupuncture at acupoint group,an acupuncture at non-acupoint group and a model group,20 mice in each group.The 20 male senescence-accelerated mouse/resistance 1 (SAMR1) mice of the same age were used as a normal control group.Shenshu (BL 23),Baihui (GV 20),Xuehai (SP 10) and Geshu (BL 17) were selected for acupuncture intervention in acupuncture at acupoint group.After an 8-week intervention,mitochondrial tissues were extracted from the hippocampus.Differentially expressed proteins were identified by subcellular organelle proteomics.Western blot was used to verify the expressions of some related proteins in hippocampal mitochondria.Results:Compared with the model group,there were 13 differentially expressed protein spots in the acupuncture at acupoint group,of which,9 were up-regulated,including neurofilament light polypeptide (NFL),actin (cytoplasmic 1,database ID:ACTB),tubulin beta-2A chain (TBB2A),tropomodulin-2 (TMOD2),pyruvate dehydrogenase E1 component subunit beta (PDHE1-β),NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase 75 kDa subunit (database ID:NDUS1),heat shock cognate 71 kDa protein (HSC71),pyruvate dehydrogenase E1 component subunit alpha (PDHE1-α) and ATP synthase beta subunit (ATP-β);4 were down-regulated,including glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP),pyruvate dehydrogenase phosphatase 1 (PDP1),mitochondrial-processing peptidase subunit alpha (MMP-α) and adenosine kinase (ADK).According to the information provided in the protein database,most of the differentially expressed proteins involve the regulation of mitochondrial function and structure.The expression levels of NFL and TBB2A in the normal control group and the acupuncture at acupoint group were significantly higher than those in the acupuncture at non-acupoint group (P＜0.05).ATP-β and NDUS1 expression levels were significantly higher in the acupuncture at acupoint group than those in the acupuncture at non-acupoint group (P＜0.05);there was no significant difference between the acupuncture at non-acupoint group and the model group (P＞0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture may achieve the potential therapeutic effect on AD by regulating the structure and functional proteins of hippocampal mitochondria.

The distribution information of Lomatogonium rotatum. was collected by interview investigation and field survey, and 55 related environmental factors were collected, the habitat suitability study was conducted based on geographic information system (GIS) and maximum entropy model. The AUCs of ROC curve were both above 0.99, indicating that the predictive results with the maximum model were highly precise. The results showed that 13 major environmental factors have obvious influence on ecology suitability distributions of L. rotatum, including month average temperature of February et al., the suitable distribution areas are mainly concentrated in the east-central of Inner Mongolia, including Hexigten banner, Duolun county, Zhenglan banner et al., The zoning results basically coincide with the genuine producing areas, and further afford new suitable distribution areas, which can provide reference for L. rotatum's wild nursery and the siting of introduction and cultivation.

Objective To compare the impact of the first 24 hours mean blood glucose (MBG)level and admission glucose (AG) during hospitalization on the short term mortality and combined end point events in patients with ST-segment elevation acute myocardial infarction (STEMI). Methods A total of 7446 Chinese STEMI patients hospitalized within 12 hours of symptom onset were included. Plasma glucose was measured at admission, 6 and 24 hours after admission, respectively. The MBG level through the first 24 hours for each patient was calculated. Patients were stratified into six groups according to their MBG levels: ＜4.5, 4.5 -5.5, 5.6-7.0, 7.1 -8.5, 8.6-11.0and ＞11.0 mmol/L. The incidence of all cause mortality and combined end point of death, re-infarction, cardiogenic shock, recurrence ischemia, and stroke at 7 days and 30 days post hospitalization were analyzed. Nested models were compared to determine whether logistic regression models that included MBG provided a significantly better fit than logistic regression models included AG. Results Compared with the MBG of 4. 5 - 5.5 mmol/L group, 7-day and 30-day mortality and combined end point events increased in proportion to plasma MBG level increase.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that elevated MBG ( equal or greater than 7. 1 - 8. 5 mmol/L) level is an independent predictor of 7-day and 30-day mortality and combined end point events. Nested models analysis showed that the prognostic impact of MBG is superior to AG . P ＜ 0. 001 ) on predicting 7-day and 30-day mortality and combined end point events in this patient cohort. Conclusion Elevated MBG ( ≥7. 1 mmol/L) level is an independent predictor of 7-day and 30-day mortality and combined end point events. MBG is superior to AG on predicting short-term prognosis in this patient cohort.
