Objective:Investigate the relation between the phosphorylation of FOXO1 and the apoptosis and the proliferation of lymphoma cells and to clarify its specific mechanism. Methods:The lymphoma cells Namalwa and Jurkat were treated with PI3K inhibitor wort mannin or etoposide or Wortmannin plus etoposide for different times-pan and at different concentration. The inhibition rates for cell growth of lymphoma cells were examined by XTT assay.Apoptosis were detected by flow cytometry. The expressions of p-Akt,p-FOXO1,FOXO1 and Bim were determined by Western blot analysis. Results:Wortmannin induced apoptosis of Jurkat cells and Namalwa cells and inhibited their survival effectively. The growth inhibition rate and the apoptosis rate of lymphoma cells induced by Wortmannin plus etoposide were higher than those induced by etoposide alone. After treated with Wortmannin, phosphorylation of FOXO1 remarkably reduced and bim markedly increased. Conclusion:The dephosphorylation of FOXO1 inhibits proliferation of Jurkat cells and Namalwa cells, promotes their apoptosis and enhanced the sensitivity of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma cells to etoposide.Bim activated by FOXO1 promotes cell apoptosis.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(01):-
HIV-1 integrase enzyme is a 32kDa protein encoded by HIV pol gene. It is responsible for integration of viral cDNA into host chromosomal DNA, which is indispensable for HIV replication.Since there was no functional equivalent for this enzyme in human cells, inhibition of integrase will bring little side effect to human body. Thus HIV integrase has become an attractive and rational target for therapy of AIDS after reverse transcriptase and protease. The Recent research on HIV-1integrase structure, inhibitors and new therapeutic method target at HIV integrase was reviewed.
7. Efficacy and safety of bevacizumab combined with chemotherapy in treatment of EGFR wild type or EGFR-TKI resistant lung adenocarcinoma with brain metastases
Tumor 2016;36(10):1139-1145
Objective: There is no standard chemotherapy regimen for patients with wild type epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and EGFRtyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) resistant lung adenocarcinoma with brain metastases. This study aims to observe the efficacy and toxicity of chemotherapy combined with bevacizumab in wild-type EGFR and EGFR-TKI resistant lung adenocarcinoma patients with brain metastases. Methods: A total of 10 lung adenocarcinoma patients with brain metastases between January and December 2015 received bevacizumab and chemotherapy. The response was evaluated by Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1 (RECIST v1.1) every 2 cycles and the toxicity was evaluated by National Cancer Institute-Common Toxicity Criteria version 3.0 (NCI-CTC 3.0) every cycle. Results: Of the eight patients who could be evaluated for response, the overall response rate was 25% (2/8) and the disease control rate was 75% (6/8). And for intracranial lesions, the response rate was 12% (1/8) and the disease control rate was 87% (7/8). The most commonly adverse events induced by bevacizumab were hypertension, proteinuria and bleeding, which were mostly degrees I-II. Conclusion: Bevacizumab combined with chemotherapy is an effective and safe treatment method for EGFR wild type and EGFR-TKI resistant lung adenocarcinoma patients with brain metastases.
8.Systematic review on the rate for injury incident among elementary and middle school students in China.
Chinese Journal of Epidemiology 2007;28(9):881-885
OBJECTIVETo obtain the incidence rate of injury in primary and middle school students in China, so as to provide basic information for the development of prevention and control strategy.
METHODSSystematic review was applied to summarize the published data. After strict inclusion and exclusion, 42 eligible articles were included for analysis.
RESULTSA total number of 259 994 subjects was studied with 79 995 persons, 127 978 person-time involved in different kinds of injuries with the total incidence rate of 30.77% by person and 49.22% by person-time, respectively. The incidence rates of injury were not statistically significant between primary and middle schools (t = -1.752, P = 0.110) or at different places (F = 1.890, P = 0.120). However, significant differences were found between boys and girls (t = 5.998, P = 0.000). The top three injuries were caused by fall, hurt during sports activities and transportation vehicles.
CONCLUSIONResults from the systematic review indicated that the majority of injuries were fall, hurt during sports activities and transportation vehicles among primary and middle school students in China. In order to reduce the incidence of injury, health education and improvement of environment should be particularly strengthened in the future. The relationship of nutrients and microorganisms in soils with polyphenols and total flavonoids of Houttuynia cordata were investigated by measuring nutrients, enzyme activity, pH, concentrations of microbe phospholipid fatty acids (PLFAs) in soils, and determining concentrations of polyphenols and total flavonoids of H. cordata. The research is aimed to understand characteristics of the planting soils and improve the quality of cultivated H. cordata. The soils at different sample sites varied greatly in nutrients, enzyme activity, pH, microbic PLFAs and polyphenols and all flavonoids. The content of total PLFAs in sample sites was following: bacteria > fungi > actinomyces > nematode. The content of bacteria PLFAs was 37.5%-65.0% at different sample sites. Activities of polyphenol oxidease, concentrations of available P and content of PLFAs of bacteria, actinomyces and total microorganisms in soils were significantly and positively related to the concentrations of polyphenols and total flavonoids of H. cordata, respectively (P < 0.05) . The Content of fungi PLFAs in soils was significantly and negatively related to concentrations of polyphenols and total flavonoids of H. cordata, respectively (P < 0.05). This study provides evidence that effectiveness of the soil nutrient, which may be improved due to transformation of soil microorganisms and enzymes to N and P in the soils, was beneficial to adaptation of H. cordata adapted to different soil conditions, and significantly affects metabolic accumulation of polyphenols and flavonoids of H. cordata.

Objective To study the changes of neutrophil surface molecule CD64 and inflammatory factor levels in patients with burn infection. Methods 46 cases of patients with burn infection who were treated in the department of burn in our hospital between March 2010 and October 2015 were selected as the observation group. Meanwhile, 46 cases of healthy people who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were included in the control group. The levels of neutrophil surface molecule CD64, C-reactive protein (CRP), white blood cell count (WBC) and inflammatory factor [interleukin IL-6 (IL-6), interleukin (IL-8), tumor necro-sis factor (TNF-α) in the two groups of subjects were determined by flow cytometry and were compared. Results In the observation group, the levels of CD64, CRP, WBC and inflammatory factors were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The levels of CD64, CRP, WBC and inflammatory factors in patients with burn infection are significantly higher than those in healthy people , which indicates that neutrophil surface molecule CD64, inflammatory factors and burn infection are closely correlated.
