Purpose To investigate the expression of Dkk3 and Cyclin D1 protein in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and clinical significance.Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect Dkk-3 and Cyclin D1 protein expression level in 80 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma and corresponding para-cancer tissue.Results The expression of Dkk-3 in hepatocellular carcinoma was significantly lower than those in corresponding para-cancer tissue (P ＜ 0.05) and the expression of Cyclin D1 in hepatocellular carcinoma was significantly higher than those in CoTesponding para-cancer tissue (P ＜ 0.05).The up-regulation of Cyclin D1 and the down-regulation of Dkk-3 proteins were correlated with pathologic differentiation degree (P ＜0.05).There was a significant inverse correlation between Dkk3 and Cyclin D1 expression (P =0.044,rs =-0.226).Conclusion The abnormal expression of Dkk-3 and Cyclin D1 gene in human hepatocellular carcinoma suggest that Dkk-3 and Cyclin D1 gene may play an important role in the development and progression of the cancer.The combination deteetion of the two biomarkers may provide valuable data for diagnosis and prognosis estimation of HCC.

Objective To explore the effect of health management on compliance and complication in postpartum reexamination.Methods According to the admission time, 2,217 parturients were assigned into control group and another 2,216 into experiment group.The latter was managed with health management including establishment of health records, telephone follow-up and follow-up by visits and the former received routine nursing care.The two groups were compared in respect of maternal postpartum reexamination and health status.Result The compliance rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group and the incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of health management can improve postpartum compliance in reexamination and reduce postpartum complications.

AIM To investigate effects of shenning on nephrotic rats. METHODS Adult male wistar rats were randomly devided into normal control group, pathological pattern group, high-dosage shenning group,middle-dosage group,low-dosage group,shenfukang group and prednisone group. Rats with membranous glomerulonephritis were induced by injection of cation bovine serum albumin into tail vein. The rats were treated respectively for 32 days by gavage. Urinary protein was observed once a week after 2 weeks. After 7weeks ,plasma albumin,renal histology,parameters of renal function and prostaglandins were examined. In addition TXB 2/6-Keto-PGF 1? in serum were also examined. RESULTS The urinary protein,serum cretinine level,BUN and TXB 2/6-Keto-PGF 1? can be reduced in shenning groups compared with pathological pattern group. Plasma albumin was significantly increased in high-dosage shenning group. CONCLUSION High-dosage and middle-dosage shenning can significantly decrease urinary protein in rats with membranous glomerulonephritis. High-dosage shenning can increase the plasma albumin level in rats with membranous glomerulonephritis.

Objective To compare the safety and effectiveness between ozone (O3) and hyaluronic acid (HA) in treating knee osteoarthritis(KOA) by using the meta analysis method.Methods The relevant randomized controlled trials(RCTs) in PubMed,Cochrane Library (issue 1,2016),Embase,CNKI,CBM,VIP,and Wan-Fang databases were retrieved from their establishment to January 23,2016.Two reviewers independently screened the literatures,extracted the data and evaluated the quality of the included RCTs.The results were performed the statistical analysis by using the RevMan5.3 and Stata13.0 software.Results Twenty RCTs involving 2 136 KOA patients were included.Compared with the HA treatment of KOA,the O3 treatment had higher treatment effective rate[odds ratio(OR) =2.78,P＜0.01],and better pain relief effect[at 1,3,6 month after treatment:mean difference(MD) =-0.25,-0.71,-1.70,P＜0.01].There were no statistically significant differences in complications between the two treatment methods[OR=0.84,P=0.56].Conclusion Current evidences indicate that the short-term therapeutic effect of O3 for KOA is superior to HA,and the safety is similar.

Objective To investigate the functional characteristic of adolescents with conduct disorder (CD) in the resting state.Methods Resting-sate fMRI (rs-fMRI) scans were administered to 28 male adolescents with CD and 28 age-,gender-and IQ-matched healthy controls (HCs).The rs-fMRI data were subjected to amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) analysis and ALFF values were compared between the two groups.Additionally,the region ROIs showed significant difference and correlation analysis was conducted between ALFF in each ROI and Barratt's scores.Results ① Compared to HCs,the CD group showed decreased ALFF (P＜0.005) bilaterally in the superior frontal gyrus,right middle frontal gyrus,right posterior cingulate gyrus,right inferior parietal lobule (MNI coordinates:-21,48,27;21,24,48;36,24,33 6,-36,39;48,-45,57 respectively) as well as increased ALFF (P＜O.005) in the left thalamus and left lingual gyrus (MNI coordinates:-15,-27,-3;-18,-87,-12 respectively).② There was no significant correlation between ALFF and Barratt's scores in ROIs.Conclusion The results suggest that CD is associated with abnormal intrinsic brain activity,mainly in frontal-parietal-occipital-limbic cortices,which is related to emotional and cognitive processing and behavioral functions.

Objective To explore the emergent nursing care of peritonsillar abscess in an infant. Methods The process of observation, treatment and nursing care of an infant with peritonsillar abscess were reviewed, and the nursing experiences were summarized. Results Through close observation of the rate, rhythm and depth of the respiration, the early signs of airway obstruction, guide parents with children right, keep the children quiet, open the airway, at the same time to prepare relevant emergency use objects to be prepared for emergency surgery, we saved time for the operation. Postoperative management of the airway and observation for the signs of bleeding in the area of incision were provided. The infant recovered well and was discharged after the treatment and nursing. Conclusions This case reminds nurses to pay attention to the airway obstruction while caring for the infants with peritonsillar abscess. The key points of nursing are observation and management of the airway obstruction, emergent preoperative preparation, postoperative monitoring, management of the airway and observation for the bleeding of the incision area.

Objective To investigate the predictive value of plasma cystatin C (CysC) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) after pereutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).Methods A total of 660 patients with ACS admitted to cardiovascular department were enrolled in this study from January 2009 to June 2010.The enrollment criteria were:(1) the stenosis degree was above 75％ in at least one coronary artery checked by coronary angiography and successful PCI; (2) normal renal function or mild dysfunction with glomerular filtration rate (GFR) ＞ 60 ml/ ( min · 1.73 m2 ).Exclusion criteria were severe liver and renal insufficiency,malignancies and valvular heart diseases.The plasma CysC levels were examined by the latex enhanced immune turbidity method within 24 hours after admission.The relevant clinical data were recorded.The patients were followed up by out-patient interview or telephone from March to June 2011 and adverse cardiovascular events were recorded.The patients were divided into four groups according to CysC level:Q1 (CysC＜1.02 mg/L),Q2 (1.02 mg/L≤＜CysC ＜1.17 mg/ L),Q3 (1.17 mg/L ≤ CysC ＜1.35 mg/L) and Q4 (CysC ≥ 1.35 mg/L).Univariate and multivariate Cox hazards regressions were established to analyze the factors related to prognosis.The proportion differences between four groups were tested by x2.The survival ratio was estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method.Statistical significance was established at a P value of less than 0.05.Results ① A total of 606 ( 91.7％ ) patients successfully accepted follow-up.Mean follow-up time was ( 14.3 + 1.7 ) months.Of them,95 patients were subjected to adverse cardiovascular events ( 15.7％ ).②The incidences of adverse cardiovascular events in Q2,Q3,Q4 were significantly higher than those in Q1 ( P ＜ 0.001 ).The rates of mortality,nonfatal myocardial infarction and target lesion revascularization in Q4 were higher than those in Q1 ( P ＜ 0.05 ).The incidences of heart failure in Q3 and Q4 were higher than that in Q1 ( P ＜ 0.05 ).③Univariate analysis demonstrated that CysC,creatinine,LVEF,age,history of PCI and NYHA grade ≥3 were the risk factors of poor prognosis (P ＜ 0.05 ).④ Multivarite cox hazards regression revealed that the elevation of CysC level remained an independent predictor of adverse cardiovascular events.The relative risk of Q3 and Q4 were 3.930 (95％ CI 1.306-11.829,P =0.015 ) and 6.380 (95％ CI 2.171-18.751,P =0.001 ) compared with Q1.⑤　The cumulative rates of survival without adverse cardiovascular events in Q2,Q3 and Q4 decreased compared with Q1 (P ＜ 0.001 ).Conclusions High plasma CysC concentration is an independent predictor of adverse cardiovascular events in patients with ACS after PCI.

To investigate the RNA interference (RNAi) effect induced by vector-derived small interfering RNA (siRNA) targeting the three gatekeeper genes (Rad52, Ku70, Ku80) and screen the more effective target sites from candidates for further research, by using siRNA design tools online, we selected 2 candidate sequences directed to every gatekeeper gene. According to the sequences, six vector-derived siRNAs (denoted psiRNA1-6) and one mocking psiRNA7 were constructed. Among them, psiRNA1 and psiRNA2 targeted Rad52, psiRNA3 and psiRNA4 to Ku70, psiRNA5 and psiRNA6 to Ku80. The mocking psiRNA7 was used as control. After sequence identification, the seven plasmids were transfected into HepG2 cell line. siRNA-induced silencing of gatekeeper genes was determined by using RT-PCR at RNA level and Western Blot at protein level. The results showed that the six plasmids specifically targeting the coding region of gatekeeper genes were successfully designed and constructed. To some extent, the six plasmids could reduce the expression of target gene. Comparatively, the plasmid-derived siRNA psiRNA1, psiRNA4 and psiRNA5 were more effective than their counterparts. The results suggest that the gene silencing efficiency of siRNA is different, depending on their targeted region, and siRNA may provide us with practical tools for further study on the three gatekeeper genes, i.e. Rad52, Ku70, Ku80.
