OBJECTIVE:To observe therapeutic efficacy and safety of amlodipine besylate combined with valsartan in the treatment of hypertension. METHODS:158 patients with hypertension were randomly divided into control group (n=78) and treatment group (n=80). Control group was treated with amlodipine besylate,2.5 mg/time,3 times/d;treatment group was addi-tionally treated with valsartan,80 mg/time,once a day. A treatment course lasted for 4 weeks,and both received 5 courses. Clini-cal efficacy,blood pressure,plasma concentrations of ET-1,NT-proBNP and Ang Ⅱ were compared between 2 groups. RE-SULTS:The compliance rates of treatment group after 4,8,12,16,20 weeks were higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). Compared with control group,SBP and DBP of treatment group were decreased significantly after 4,8,12 and 20 weeks,with sta-tistical significance(P<0.05). After 20 weeks,the serum levels of ET-1,NT-proBNP and Ang Ⅱwere decreased significantly,es-pecially treatment group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR be-tween 2 groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Amlodipine besylate combined with valsartan can effectively control the blood pres-sure in patients with hypertension,which may be related to the inhibition of ET-1,NT-proBNP and AngⅡ.

OBJECTIVE To study the distribution of drug-resistant gene of meticillin-resistant coagulase negative Staphylococcus(MRCNS) in children septicemia.METHODS The total MRCNS isolates were 40,and whether in there harbored genes mec,erm and qac was studied.RESULTS Among 40 CNS strains,in there harbored genes mec,erm,and qac were 38(95.0%),30(75.0%) and 18(45.0%),respectively.CONCLUSIONS MRCNS in children septicemia where harbor drug resistance genes is very serious,so we should pay great heed to its effective control.

Objective To explore the expression and significance of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subgroups and natural killer cell in children with asthmatic pneumonia.Methods From 2013 to 2016,asthmatic children with pneumonia were erolled in the study as asthmatic pneumonia group(36 cases) and 36 cases medical health children as control group at the same time in Zhongshan City people′s hospital.Flow cytometry was used to test analysis of two groups of T lymphocyte subsets and natural killer cell in serum and the expression of CD28,CD56,using ROC curve analysis results.Results Asthmatic pneumonia group compared with control group,the difference of CD3+ and CD3+CD8+,CD28+,CD8+CD28+,CD8+CD28-,CD3-CD16+CD56+ and CD3+CD16+CD56+,CD3+CD4+/CD3+ CD8+ was statistically significant(P<0.05).According to the results of flow parameters have higher sensitivity by the ROC curve statistics.Conclusion Asthmatic pneumonia children have immune dysfunction,immune function changes associate with asthmatic,which is of great clinical significance to carry out immune function detection for children with asthmatic pneumonia.

OBJECTIVE: To establish the method for content determination of 12 trace elements (Cu, Mn, Mg, Cd, Zn, Fe, Ba, Se, Pb, As, Cr, Ni) in Shiquan dabu pills, and to provide reference for further improvement of its quality control.METHODS: ICP-OES was adopted to detect. Microwave digestion was used for sample pretreatment with digestion power of 800 W; digestion process included heating to 120 ℃ keeping for 3 min, heating to 160 ℃ keeping for 5 min, and finally heating to 180 ℃ keeping for 20 min. PF power was 1 150 W, and pump speed was 50 r/min; the flow rate of atomizing gas was 0. 5 L/min, and that of plasma gas was 12. 0 L/min, detection wavelength of 182. 205-455. 403 nm. RESULTS: Results of 12 elements determination were all within standard range according to national standard substance sampling determination. BACKGROUND: This study was undertaken to investigate the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) in rat cerebral cortex and the effects of β-sodium aescinate (SA) administration after return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC).METHODS: Sixty rats were divided into three groups: SA group, injected intraperitoneally with SA instantly after ROSC; control group, injected intraperitoneally with normal saline; and sham-operated group, without cardiac arrest or SA. The cardiac arrest model was established using asphyxiation and intravenous potassium chloride. Blood was sampled 1, 6, 12, and 24 hours after ROSC. Protein and mRNA levels of HIF-1α, VEGF and EPO were detected in the cerebral cortex by immunohistochemistry and real-time RT-PCR; serum levels of NSE and S100β were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays.RESULTS: Serum S100β and NSE were signifi cantly increased in the control group versus the sham-operated group 1, 6, 12 and 24 hours after ROSC (P<0.05). Protein and mRNA levels of HIF-1α, VEGF and EPO were signifi cantly increased in the control rats (P<0.05). Serum NSE and S100β were significantly decreased in the SA group versus the control group 1, 6, 12 and 24 hours after ROSC (P<0.05). Protein and mRNA levels of HIF-1α, VEGF and EPO were signifi cantly increased in the SA group (P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS: The expression of HIF-1α is increased in rat cerebral cortex after ROSC, and SA up-regulates the expression of HIF-1α. The up-regulation of HIF-1α improves the resistance of the cortex to ischemia and hypoxia and contributes to neuroprotection, possibly because of up-regulation of EPO and VEGF expression.

· AIM: To examine the expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-3 mRNA during choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in a murine model and to investigate the role of them in the development of CNV. · METHODS: CNV was induced in C57BL/6J mice by intensive diode laser (810nm) photocoagulation (120mW, 75μm, 0. 1s) of the fundus whereafter eyes were enucleated at 1, 3days, 1, 2, and 4 weeks. The MMP-9 and TIMP-3 mRNA expression were analyzed using in situ hybridization and image analysis system. · RESULTS: Both expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-3 mRNA had dynamic changes. For MMP-9, the expression was 1, 2, 4 wk > 3d > 1d (P < 0.05), whereas TIMP-3 mRNA, 3d, 1, 2, 4 wk>1d (P<0.05). · CONCLUSION: The imbalance between the changes of MMP-9 and TIMP-3 may accelerate the degrading of extracelluar matrix, and then be involved in the pathogenesis of CNV.
