1.The application of Herbert screw in the treatment of navicular bone fracture

Objective To investigate the treatment of Navicular bone fracture with Herbert screw.Methods Twenty-three patients with Navicular bone fracture were collected.They were all conducted with CT scan diagnosis and type,the small incision and targeting wire was used in operation.The Herbert screw was used to fix with pressure,plaster was also used to fix.After operation,the activity training was executed gradually.Results We conducted follow-up of 6-18 months in 23 patients,with an average of 12 months.All patients got bone-healing,the healing time ranges from 7 to 10 weeks,with an average of 9 weeks.There was one case of screw penetrating cortical bone,and one case of mild deformity healing,among the other 23 cases there were no complications including infection,nonunion,necrosis,osteoarthritis'etc.Conclusion The treatment of Navicular bone fracture with Herbert screw fixation can get firm fixation,function training and healing early,and it's worth of clinical promotion.
2.Effect of Compound Duzhenggan Jiegu Plaster for External Use on the Healing of Closed Distal Radius Frac-ture

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of Compound duzhenggan jiegu plaster for external use on the healing of closed distal radius fracture. METHODS:68 cases of closed distal radial fracture were randomly assigned into treatment group(34 cases) and control group (34 cases). Treatment group was treated with Compound duzhenggan jiegu plaster for external use,and control group was treated with Dieda pills for external use. The changes of X-ray score,BMD and serum ALP content were com-pared between 2 groups after 30 d and 60 d treatment. RESULTS:In 2 groups,there were statistically significant difference in X-ray score,BMD and serum ALP content between 30 d and 60 d treatment(P<0.01). After 60 d treatment,there were statistical-ly significant difference in X-ray score,BMD and serum ALP content between 2 groups(P<0.01 or P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Compound duzhenggan jiegu plaster for external use in the treatment of closed radius distal fracture can promote the increase of BMD and serum ALP content,improve fracture repair and healing,shorten the healing time. The mechanism should be further re-searched.
3.Protective effect of compound Danshen dripping pill on cardiac function in elderly patients with advanced breast cancer after radiotherapy and chemotherapy

Objective To investigate the protective effect of compound Danshen dripping pill on cardiac function in elderly patients with advanced breast cancer after radiotherapy and chemotherapy.Methods 150 patients with advanced breast cancer from February 2015 to April 2016in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group,75 cases in each group.The patients in the two groups were treated with CEF chemotherapy(CTX+EPI+5FU),on the basis of observation group,the injection of compound Danshen dripping pill.Two groups of cardiac function E/A,LVEF status were observed and compared.The levels of cTnI,CK,CK-MB,SOD,GSH,MDA and peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets were detected in the two groups,and observed the occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups.Results After treatment,the serum levels of CK,MB-CK,cTnI,MDA and CD8+ were significantly decreased in the observation group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the CD4+,CD4+/CD8+,SOD,GSH,E/A,LVEF were significantly increased in the observation group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of cytokines and T lymphocyte subsets and cardiac function in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group(white blood cells,hair loss,nausea and vomiting)was significantlylower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compound Danshen dripping pills can protect the heart function of patients with advanced breast cancer after radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
5.Comparison of effect of carvedilol and motoprolol on high altitude chronic congestive heart failure

Objective To compare the effect of carvedilol and motoprolol on high altitude chronic congestive heart failure (CHF). Methods Ninety patients with high altitude chronic CHF were divided into three groups randomly:Twenty patients in the regular treatment group treated with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) ,diuretics and digoxin; motoprolol (50 mg twice daily) was given in the motoprolol group( 34cases) additional to regular treatment; carvedilol (25 mg twice daily) was given in the carvedilol group(36cases ) additional to regular treatment. All the patients were followed up for six months and measured the changes of cardiac function by echocardiography. Results Left ventricular end-diastolic dimension (LVEDD) was ( 57. 3 ± 6. 5 ) mm and (57.2 ± 6. 9) mm in the carvedilol group and the motoprolol group respectively, and left ventricular end-systolic dimension (LVESD) was (46. 6 ± 7.0) mm and (44. 0 ± 6. 9 ) mm in the carvedilol group and the motoprolol group respectively, which were all significantly smaller than that in the regular treatment group ([64.7 ±9. 1]mm and [53.4 ±9.8]mm for LVEDD and LVESD,respectively) (Ps <0.05). Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) in the carvedilol group and the motoprolol group ( [47.5 ± 8. 1] % and [52. 9 ±8.5] % ,respectively) was higher than that in regular treatment group( [42. 8 ±9. 2]% ) (Ps <0. 05).The improvement of LVEF in the carvedilol group was better than that in the motoprolol group (P < 0. 05 ). One case died in the motoprolol group and no death in the carvedilol group,4 cases died in the regular treatment group,the mortality in the motoprolol group and the carvedilol group was significantly lower than that in the regular treatment group. Conclusion Carvedilol and motoprolol significantly improved cardiac function in high latitude CHF patients,and the effect of Carvedilol is slightly better than that of motoprolol.
6.Cloning and Expression of a Bradyzoite-Specific Gene of Toxoplasma gondii and Immunoreactive Analysis on the Recombinant Antigen

Objective To clone and express bradyzoite antigen 1(BAG1) gene of T. gondii,and analyze the immunoreactivity of the recombinant product. Methods The differentiation of T. gondii RH strain tachyzoites into bradyzoites was induced in vitro,and the coding sequence of BAG1 was amplified from bradyzoites by RT-PCR. The PCR product was analyzed by sequencing. The BAG1 coding sequence was further subcloned into the plasmid pET32a(+). The plasmid pET32a(+)-BAG1 was then transformed into BL21(DE3) to express after IPTG induction. The expression product was purified with Ni-NTA agarose and the purified BAG1 was further analyzed by Western blotting and ELISA. Results BAG1 cDNA was amplified from bradyzoites. After IPTG induction,BAG1 was expressed in a fusional form in E. coli. Western blotting showed that the purified recombinant protein could be specifically recognized by sera from mice chronically infected by T. gondii B36 strain. ELISA showed that the positive rate of T. gondii IgG antibodies of 350 human sera detected by the recombinant BAG1(17.4%) was higher than by recombinant SAG1 (12.6%)(P
7.Research progress of diabetes on the ultrastructure of blood retina barrier

Diabetic retinopathy is a major cause of blindness all over the world, and it is one of the most serious and common microvascular complications of diabetes. Breakdown of the endothelial blood - retinal barrier ( BRB ) , as occurs in diabetic retinopathy, result in vasogenic edema and neural tissue damage, causing loss of vision. The inner BRB is created by complex tight juctions of retinal capillary endothelial cells, this barrier prevents the free diffusion of substances between the circulating blood and the neural retinal, the inner BRB efficiently supplies nutrients to the retinal and removes endobiotics and xenobiotics from the retina to maintain a constant milieu in the neural retina. The central mechanism of altered inner BRB function is a change in the permeability characteristics of retinal endothelial cells caused by elevated levels of cytokines, growth factors, advanced glycation end products, inflammation, hyperglycema and loss of pericytes. This article reviews the relationship between diabetes and the ultrastructure changes of BRB.
8.Characteristics of Yersinia enterocolitica in Ningxia,China,2008-2013

We investigated the distribution characteristics of Yersinia enterocolitica in Ningxia ,China .In accordance with the requirements of the National Yersinia enterocolitica Disease Monitoring Scheme ,Y .enterocolitica were isolated from differ‐ent kinds of specimens collected in Ningxia in 2008 to 2013 .Then they were serotyped and detected for virulence gene and ana‐lyzed the pulsed‐field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) in Chinese CDC .It was found that 173 strains were isolated from various types of 9 643 specimens ,and the detection rate was 1 .79% .There were statistical differences among detection rates in differ‐ent years and in different specimens (P<0 .01) .Pathogenic serotypes O∶3 and O∶9 carried ail gene and ystA gene were de‐tected from specimens of pigs and diarrhea patient .Non‐pathogenic serotypes O∶5 and O∶8 and non‐typeable strains didn't carry ail gene and ystA gene ,and also can't be detected from swine ,cattle ,sheep ,chickens and dogs .In conclusion ,Y .en‐terocolitica was widely distributed in Ningxia and pigs were the dominant animal host .In all pathogenic serotypes ,the highest proportion was O∶3 following by O∶9 .It was no time and regional difference in the distribution of that in Ningxia ,China .
9.Study on the correlation between neutrophil surface molecule CD64 and inflammatory factors and burn in-fection

Objective To study the changes of neutrophil surface molecule CD64 and inflammatory factor levels in patients with burn infection. Methods 46 cases of patients with burn infection who were treated in the department of burn in our hospital between March 2010 and October 2015 were selected as the observation group. Meanwhile, 46 cases of healthy people who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were included in the control group. The levels of neutrophil surface molecule CD64, C-reactive protein (CRP), white blood cell count (WBC) and inflammatory factor [interleukin IL-6 (IL-6), interleukin (IL-8), tumor necro-sis factor (TNF-α) in the two groups of subjects were determined by flow cytometry and were compared. Results In the observation group, the levels of CD64, CRP, WBC and inflammatory factors were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The levels of CD64, CRP, WBC and inflammatory factors in patients with burn infection are significantly higher than those in healthy people , which indicates that neutrophil surface molecule CD64, inflammatory factors and burn infection are closely correlated.
10.Effect and mechanism of TGF-β1/smad3 signal pathways on apoptosis during mice pulmonary fibrosis

Objective To explore the effect and mechanism of TGF beta1/smad3 signaling pathways on apoptosis in mouse pulmonary fibrosis.Methods Fifty-four healthy male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into three groups:normal control (n=18),pulmonary fibrosis model (n =18) and TGF-β1/smad3 inhibitor group (n=18).Six mice in each group were randomly killed on days 7,14 and 28.Hematoxyli~eosin and Masson staining were adopted to evaluate the severity of pulmonary inflammation and fibrosis.The content of hydroxyproline (Hyp) in the lung tissues was detected by alkaline hydrolysis technique.The apoptosis was observed by tunnel apoptosis assay kit.P-smad3 and caspase3 protein expressions were assessed via Western blot.Results Lung in model mice versus normal control showed alveolar inflammatory change in 7 days and significant pulmonary fibrosis in 28 days(P<0.05).Meanwhile,apoptosis index,hydroxyproline content,caspase3,and phosphorylated Smad3 were obviously higher in model mice than in control group (P < 0.05).Compared with model group,TGF-β1/smad3 inhibitor group showed that alveolitis and pulmonary fibrosis degree,hydroxyproline content,cell apoptosis index,the expressions of p-smad3 and caspase3 were decreased at same time point (P < 0.05).Conclusions TGF beta1/smad3 signaling pathways may participate the abnormal apoptosis during the development of pulmonary fibrosis,and TGF-β1/smad3 inhibitor SB431542 could inhibit this process.
